i ride an rm 125 and have riden the 450r, could i get this bike registerd for the road in MA? i need to go on a few miles of street to get to the sand pit and the cops are givin me shit for it. is there any way to get a light powerful MX bike on the street without worrying about having to run from cops?

there are ups and downs on both i ride the yami and love it but i would love to have a big red for a bike as well. both are great you dont have to do much to get more power out of them it may cost some money but open up the air box, rejet get the emmisions control shit out of there and maybe a differant exhaust but they are equally matched ive ridin the crf and all i have to say about it is damn!
Go with the Honda!! I've had yamaha and hated it so I switched to Honda and I would never switch again. Great bike!!!
@450rable i agree they should have some testers that really know what they're doing on a bike and could push the bike to it's limits, but how many average joes that buy this bike will ride it hard every single second they're on it? i understand your point, but i also disagree by saying they did a good job with the bike testers riding it like someone normally would.
@armyranger75dept where we ride here in wyoming the rocks are pretty bad. look up inyan kara enduro and it will say something like NEPG national endur round 6 and the last part of section 6 we ride there. the video is from adrenalinevision
I love mine, lots of power, handles like a dream, the gear ratio is awesome for trail riding. Spec wise the kawasaki and honda are almost identical, honda has .4 more inch of travel on one end, not a whole lot to fret about. Honda's are known for their durability, that's the main reason for my choice.

hey guys I'm looking at an 05 crf450x im only 5'7 and 140 but growing fast... is this bike going to be manageable for me? Please answer if you know I need advice!

im 14, about 140-150 lbs, and about 5'6" what would be a recomended bike from any brand (kawasaki,suzuki, honda etc.)? im not a rich badass, so i cant spend like $4000+ on a bike. and im a beginner too. $3500 is my maximum. i live out in the country and want a good off road bike(not motocross). i also ATLEAST want 100cc or above. any suggestions??

no, but yamaha sells one, honda has the crf150 and the crf150r which is basically the same as the 125
I was "this close" to buying yamaha's 450. Then I did a little more research and discovered that out of the box, the honda's stomp the yamahas. I'm just not into fiddling with them and spending more money to get them to go fast. So I went with the honda and I'm in love. Although, they're right about it not being quite low enough to go over boulders and stuff.

@450rable good point. i wouldn't consider myself necessarily a "good" rider but i can shift as well as anyone on flat ground., it's just in the air i'm not comfortable. i don't have my own bike, but i ride my cousins crf230f a lot and i like it...except it's still a little small for me (6'1''). i'm always looking for new things to try and i can clear their approach to their driveway with ease and confidence but it still doesn't look pretty. it's only about 10 feet across but it's still fun.
i have CRF250X 06...pretty fkn indestructable bike!
my mate has CRF450X they sound sortta the same just one is louder
@brazzr no joke they have their feet down like theyre gonna wreck and im 13 ive been through worse and got through it better than they did. lol
nice bike bad valve train invest in the kibblewhite stainless set and youll have this bike around for a long time

@91rxl650 i agree alot of average joes do buy these 8,000 dollar machines and nowhere ride it to its maximum potential but when u have crappy test riders who go to slow through a rock section and crash it i think an average joe is always willing to get better at riding and by having good test riders who ride the bike hard and maintainable its more appealing.

dude enduro testing is and very much shall be as hard if not harder then the motocross testing. i have a 450x and i do ride enduros and i ride that thing as hard as i can and let me tell u i expect alot. if u own one then u know what i mean but if u dont then u have no clue.

CRF? No. The two strokes are called CR.
So yes, you can get a CR125

they need riders that can ride,i have a grandma that can ride better than this and she cant even walk
honda has a better engine and runs more smooth, ktm are rough and dont run that good, i am a ktm ride and a honda rider too.
wow the test riders sucked balls. they should have very good test riders so they get close to the maximum potential of the bike and that allows for good reviews.
nonne of those testers can even ride properly. its like a bunch of begginers doin a review
u must be a really crap rider if u think there good. and im not over there doin it because i dont live in america and all of the spots are taken over here in australia.
