I always find myself starting one of these dekes, then my player sets up for a shot. Im using the hybrid controls so idk??? (It works in training but i can only do it like 1 in 10 times in a match)
The BTL 2 is explained way better in this video than in the game and I actually learned it a couple months ago. Then I stopped playing for a while and now I can't do it anymore
If someone here can't get the sweep deke or behind the back to work here's what you have to do. On the sweep deke you just have to hold the left stick to a 2 o'clock position while doing the deke if you have a left handed shooter. The controls are reversed on right handed players so you have to hold it to a 10 o'clock position. On behind the back the left stick positions are the same but they are just switched.

I just started seeing this move lately. I couldn't find anything on the internet about it so I had to figure it out on my own. Its pretty easy. Good luck.
When I started out in NHL, I always found it easier to look at a diagram than trying to watch the way the sticks are moving in half a second live on screen, so I add it for that reason because I would like to think it's easier for some other people as well :/

You left out the push around deke, the backhand wiggle, the forehand chip, the outside skate kick, and your instructions are horrible. The behind the back and tap back (backhand forehand sweep) dekes require use of the left stick as well. And seeing as almost nobody knows it exists, you left out the Kutcherov no shot fake deke.
@@crackerjackrappr it's LB/L1 (depending on console) and down on both sticks. Here's a video I made from NHL 18 of me doing it in shootouts and EASHL: th-cam.com/video/5sXascwOg34/w-d-xo.html

U confuse 6 o’clock with 9 o’clock positioning through out the video.
i do the exact thing u say for behind the back, and it just does the between legs

What is the move you are doing when you are doing the B-T-L V2?
I just started seeing this move lately. I couldn't find anything on the internet about it so I had to figure it out on my own. Its pretty easy. Good luck.
One question why do I do a datsyuk flip when I try to do a one handed shot
Cuz you're doing a Datsyuk Flip.
Thank u it really helped
Glad it helped!
He forgot the easiest move. L1
no matter how fast I do it it doesn‘t do the sweep deke for me... what do I do wrong?
This is so helpful. Thanks!
Are u a blue jackets fan wow
How about the stride deke, i know they changed it last year but i cant figure it out
hold L1 or LB , tap left stick either left or right in direction twice *in succession*
Why when i try to do a dotsyuk flip i just wind up.for a slaphost
Trc_ Sky You have to press in the right stick before you pull it back
Ok thanks
I really don't watch Hockey but I really enjoy playing NHL 2k19 for sure.
What about that chip deke you were doing
You do know that the practice mode shows what you're doing with the analogs right? Bottom right corner of screen. No need for your controller diagram.

Yes
How do you puck chop?

Gotta let go the LB button after you click in R3 to avoid diving on the Datsyuk flip.
Datsyuk flip doesn't require L1 or LB
Thanks you
Soon us by far most affective
Datsyuk got the flip move from Linus Omark; originally did flip shot on goalie.

Can't you just tap rb for datsyuk flip
You can, but I find whenever I do that often, it will do a weak flip. Either way is fine, I just prefer the way with a higher success rate.
Jeremy Taylor is that skill stick control and is LB the same as L2
