  • In this, the final video in our front end facelift series, we complete the last few jobs now that the van is out of paint. This includes fitting emblems, side repeaters, and front bumper inserts. We also look at how the existing T5 headlight and battery covers can be modified to fit the new T6.1 front end.

      @@highergroundlifestyle I’m pretty sure I got all the bits I just need the wings now. Got them coming at the end of the month. So should be all systems go then!

    Great Job and well done👍I have one question to the DRL.Was it necessary to modified the control unit with OBD?🤔

      @@highergroundlifestyle Thanks a lot for the answer. I have modified my T5 from 2008 now with the Facelift but only the DRL does not work although i installed a wire from switch to both headlights.

      @@carlosn6829 you need to use an adapter or modify the cables. Have you done that? If not, they won’t work. Cheers. N

      To work, the DRL lights just need a switched 12 volt live. (A 12v source that turns on with the ignition)
