For what i remember with that diaphragm type, when you start to throthle the piston valve also moves up/down as it plays on how you throthle.

I have been trying to learn more about how this particular type of carburetor works, although I can see the TPS component was not explained regarding each RPM range, whether it is kind of a static element throughout the rev range or its functions do change along with RPMs. Great video altogether.
It's just a throttle positioning sensor.. it's just gives signals to CDI.

good video, although "a controlled quantity of air" is incorrect. The amount of air is dictated by the displacement of the cylinder. It is the vacuum that is controlled by the throttle butterfly valve.
