This is why he avoided the question at 6:22 , he replied that he is innocent, has 2 gf and lives a "normal" life. He never actually answered the question about his daughter. He avoided the question about Aaliyah that R Kelly had a relationship with from 12 to 15 and married, on CNN. He told GAYLE "Absolutely Not" when asked if he would let his daughter around the child molester, who calls himself the "PIED PIPER". A few days later he "resigns". The adult MUST set the boundaries that's not a child's job. Either way, I believe he THINKS RKelly is guilty, which is why he instinctually said ABSOLUTELY NOT, about his daughter, to Gayle KING.

What his crisis manager said, and repeatedly said, because the news also was trying to twist his words into something else as well, is "I'm going to say it again - I would not let my daughter around Anyone who is accused of pedophelia". His statement was clear as to be interpreted as "Anyone who is accused of", not "someone who actually Is". What you are implying is that his manager was admitting that Kelly was a pedophile, and that his crisis manager is now being dishonest. What his manager was actually saying is that Kelly is "accused" as one, and he wouldn't let his daughter around someone that was accused. An accusation is a claim, not a fact. Yes, there are plenty of things in question, but don't twist what is clearly stated. That is what the news is for (unfortunately).
Let me be clear - I do not defend Kelly himself. I am against dishonesty, especially when one tries to manipulate another's words, gossip's etc. I've seen a sickening amount of this for this whole situation. Honest or Dishonest is exactly the reason people are after Kelly, and I would expect everyone who is after the truth to present the full truth with no manipulation or twisting of words and phrases in their own statements. This has been done repeatedly, and people hang onto these lies and use them to accuse another person of being the liar. Be careful of spreading and encouraging gossip. It's corrupt behavior. People are literal slaves to negative media. The media is very corrupt, driven by drama and misrepresentation. Do not be an ambassador for this behavior. Let the man have his trial with the people who hold the evidence and who know the facts. None of us, not the news or professionals in psychology should be speaking about this right now.
I do believe Kelly has a past that he is not honest about, whether that be large or small. No, I don't think what Kelly is doing right now is morally right, being with 2 young women, but it doesn't give anyone the right to dig up and twist information to crucify him, because the current situation is what is at hand - this trial isn't about what happened in the 90s. I understand that many do not believe in God, Jesus, mercy or forgiveness, but if everyone wants a person to be punished for a lifetime for something in their past, then everyone needs to be willing to accept a lifetime of punishment for their own past mistakes that they've turned away from as well.
Yes, the Aliyah situation, by current standards, is immoral. It's not something I would personally approve of. The thing to understand is that in current times, we actually marry at a considerably much older age than what was seen as normal or usual in the past. As soon as a woman was of age to have a child, she was seen as an adult and allowed to marry. People waiting until 20s, 30s and 40s would originally be considered unnatural. It is only up until recent years, as far as history goes, the we considered older ages for marriage as "natural". I imagine anyone alive today has great or great great grandparents who were married at a young age that is not the current standard. It is actually mind blowing to see how young women used to get married and have children, but that is because new standards of acceptability were established before we were born. One queen married at age 12 and gave birth to 3 children shortly after. She isn't the only one, it's simply one I found with a quick search. Another woman was widowed by the age of 12. Times change, but history does give examples of marriage worthy age, oddly even younger than mentioned as the average age of marriage. Some people are more mature/capable of making such decisions than others. Aliyah made a choice. She was not held against her will. Yes, it is wrong to to tempt someone and take advantage of them, if it be from status, age, or whatever the case be for someone to be in a position to seduce and take advantage of someone. There are women far more beautiful than the men they seduce, and vice versa - this should be viewed in the same manner, as seduction is seduction. It doesn't make it right, but many are guilty of seduction. We could have half the world on trial for being seductive in their past or present. Seducing the weak is immoral, but not unforgivable. The thing for any God fearing person to remember is that we will be judged as we judge others. There are things we all do wrong and want to forget and be forgiven of, whether or not we are truly worthy of forgiveness. We are supposed to show mercy as God shows mercy. This doesn't mean that someone is doing right just because we show them mercy, but it certainly is not right for us to be merciless if someone turns from what they have done. Fact is, we don't know. Let the man have his day on trial. I don't think it is right for any average person (yes, I consider myself average and am not speaking down to anyone) with average information from the media to be condemning anyone. We do not know all of the facts. The news stations don't know the facts. Even the judge does not know all of the facts.

I don't care what people did in the old days, they did not have studies of the human mind explaining development, kids were not valued, women were seen as disposable goods. By the way, don't blow things out of proportion and watch Gayle's video again. What did he say when she asked if he would let his daughter around R Kelly? He literally replied "ABSOLUTELY NOT". Then he got PC. That is the bottomline. If I believed he was innocent I would keep my kids around him the same way Sparkle did with her niece. His crisis manager deep down didn't believe it at all which is why he got emotional and didn't even let Gayle finish her question. His reply made RKelly look bad. He failed at his own job when he got honest. I loved it and thanked him for it.

The Feds had to come in because the state of Illinois didn’t have a case and they knew it was Illegal to double Jeopardy R.Kelly. Me personally I think that Homeland security might have saved R.Kelly life from the state of Illinois because if R.Kelly was in a State Jail right now he would be dead and that wouldn’t be for the state of Illinois. He know that his statements about R Kelly's innocence will be taken as legitimate if he is percieved as not working for R Kelly and therefore having no reason to lie for him. My heart goes out to him about the passing of his mother, but I don't believe it has anything to do with his work. He is doing his job by being on this show and attempting to rehabilitate Kelly and fix his former statement regarding his daughter.
