Well, I went out and bought one over the weekend and I’m going to tell you that I am thoroughly surprised and shocked at what this headset offers. The ecosystem is awesome (first meta), the pass through is definitely the future and the Air link works well with my 4090. Dude, my Pimax 8KX with knuckles and lighthouses just feels kind of old school now! 😂
It’s definitely the best all-around headset I’ve ever experienced. I do wish the FOV was a bit bigger, but I’m willing to compromise because everything else just works so well.
And wait until you discover Virtual desktop.

I have both and IMO, once you dial it in with virtual desktop, it’s better than the G2!

I have a Pro. Not even a Q3. And the G2 is an absolute piece of garbage. It's not about how well you can see in the exact center of the screen. It's about how it looks in your entire fov. My G2 is getting sold today or tomorrow. I'm just entirely done with it.

Well, I have a 3090ti with Hp reverb G2, firstly I used Quest2 for a few months, then I upgraded to Hp. But I can sincerely say that in my opinion the motion reprojection works better even on the Quest 2. This is how I feel. Now I constantly thinking if I should replace Hp with Quest 3. Probably waiting a little more for a head to head comparison between Hp Reverb and Quest 3. Thank and congrats for your work up here on this channel.

I have both and I prefer by far the Quest 3. I don't see much if any noticeable clarity with the G2 because the lenses are crap compared to the Quest 3. The Quest 3 lenses are amazing. The FOV on the Quest 3 is also noticeable compared to the G2. I am selling my G2 now and may have a buyer for it already. There's just no reason to keep it and the software for it is horrible comparatively.
It’s better. Hands down. Think of the sweet spot on the g2 and just picture that throughout the lens

I have G2 rev2 and Quest 3. G2 is little sharper in sweet spot but Quest 3 is sharp on 95% of picture and its great. FOV is little better on Quest 3 too.
I run the Quest 3 with a 3080ti. I have a 1.2Mbps wifi5 dedicated router for Airlink or Virtual Desktop. I constantly compare Link (cable), Airlink, and Virtual Desktop in terms of 36FPS (Q3 set at 72Hz Max Resolution) fluidity and clarity as well as sidelook viewing usually with ASW or SSW for minimal stutter and clarity. My current favorite has become the latest version of Virtual Desktop that has OpenXR support built in so MSFS and DCS are directly supported. This allows me to also still use OpenXR Toolkit. Virtual Desktop with OpenXR (VDXR) allows the "Godlike" (>3000x3000) resolution for a 3080ti now and I have SSW (which is done inside the Quest3) enabled so that my desire for sidelook minimal stutter is supported. I still use some CAS in OXRTK. I use DLSS-Quality in MSFS but don't use DLSS or DLAA in DCS.
I have a quest 3 and a RTX 3090TI and when i first tried MSFS it looked blurry and stuttered badly, I then downloaded and installed OpenXR and now I get a smooth performance with stunning displays. I fine tuned settings that you gave for openXR and it made a hude difference. I even got reasonable frame rate in London and New York at low flight levels. obviously not as completely smooth as HP Reverb, but then the HP Reverb kept crashing my system because the Reverb and the 3090TI had issues all along. I just wish the Quest 3 had come with a display port option to plug into. I can only imagine how amazing that would have looked and performed!
I wish someone would post best settings for a 3080 or so card. Frustrating when most show off the 4090 and how great it is!. Many have 'foolishly' like me.. brought a card before then 4080 and 4090 cards and are stuck for now. But the 3080 is no slouch also.
getting one soon to run on the 3080. Will let you know how it goes now that we all have to retire our Reverb 2's
I would be really interested in hearing how the Quest 3 performs in DCS with something less than a 4090. Such as a 4080, 4070 or 7900 XTX.

I've had a Quest 3 for a month and am still very happy with it. I find more and more things it's capable of every time I use it.
I still use my G2 Reverb for pcvr but bought the Quest 3 a couple of days ago and I'm really stunned how great everything looks. I bought it for standalone usage but now I'm thinking of also using it for PCVR instead of the G2.
Steve I totally agree with you … the Pancake lenses and ASW combo means the Q3 has killed off my trusty G2. Also, WMR and Windows 11 have been fighting like teenage siblings for too long IMO and I’ve finally said goodbye to the bloody shaking cockpit and pin prick of a sweet spot. And …. I am holding off mega bucks Crystal cos Q3 is buttering all my parsnips for now 😊

Imagine how amazing it would be if Meta combined their pancake lenses with high res microOLED displays. That is my dream for the next Pro model. Add on eye tracking and display port over USB-C so you can avoid compression when seated, and it would be phenomenal. I have the 3090 and am loving the Quest 3, I upgraded from the Reverb G2. I don't flight sim, but it is great for iRacing. Standing SteamVR games are next level, not tripping over the cable, and the better tracking. I picked up the elite battery strap, while expensive, it fixed the 2 biggest issues with the quest 3. The comfort and the battery life.
So Pimax Crystal or Quest 3?
My Reverb G2 died about a month ago and HP no longer support the G@, well not in New Zealand. We have a Consumer Guarantees Act in New Zealand and even though I had the Reverb G@ for over two years I was refunded the full price of the headset as it was deemed not to lived up to expectations due the lack of HP support and no repair facilities.
What do you get from a 4090 that you won't get from a 3090 with the quest 3? I mean other than more fps? Is there something with this headset that gives different features with a 4090? The native resolution is lower than a Reverb G2 which means the G2 will run worse on a 3090 too so not sure why a G2 would be recommended over a Quest 3 on that front? What am I missing?
G2 have a display port where the quest 3 compressed its graphics.
4090 allows huge upscaling to give extra clarity almost like a new headset either for Q3 or G2. It can hold the upscale at significantly higher fps. It is not producing extra fps itself. You can achieve the same with lower GPU you just don't get the artificial clarity benefit as much.
I "love" the way that you are talking about people who can afford a 4090 and cannot afford "a top" VR headset to go along with it. Some people just don't want the cable - and for those people, including myself, wired headsets do not exist. Great video - but please remember there are other situations than "can't afford". Just ordered a new Intel i9 13700K, RTX4090 Gaming PC from Stormforce Gaming. I have also recently purchased a Quest 3. Would love to know all the settings you are using for MSFS2020 both in VR and 2D.
i have a 3080ti card, reverb g2 and now a quest 3, i have not wanted to use my G2 since i got the Q3, the software alone makes it better to use, i do have to use the link cable with msfs as latency is to bad wireless using vitual desktop (fine with other games) not having the tiny sweet spot, fogging up issues is great.
I have a 3080 10gb card, and instead of motion reprojection, i keep headset at 72hz, and cap framerate at 36fps (1/2). In oculus debug tool , I have fov tangent at 100;85, encode bitrate at 500, distortion curvature at low, and link sharpening at normal. I still see occasional video compression in clouds, but its minimal. I am going to try 80hz with motion reprojection to see if it is any better but I don't expect it to see much benefit.

Thank you for your video! I've been comparing the G2 and Q3 a lot in MSFS2020. My findings so far show that motion reprojection works better on the G2. Even when I have 45 fps and use the Q3 in 90Hz mode, really close objects like mountains or buildings don't fly by as smoothly as with the G2. It almost looks like a smearing effect on the Q3. Also, frames can only be doubled and not tripled or even quadrupled as with the g2, right? These things make it really annoying when you want to find one setting that fits all scenarios. However, if things are not that close / more in the distance and you have a stable framerate that can simply be doubled, ASW on the Q3 looks really good, agreed.:)
Agree with this post... I get some strange blurring effects as well as some strange wobble effects using Steve's settings and a 4080 card with the Q3. I switched back to the G2 and much more smooth but the lenses have such a small sweet spot that I can't use the G2 anymore. If the G2 came with the Q3 lenses, it would be incredible!
I was blown away by my quest 3 compared to the pico 4. The colour quality was massively better and brightness much improved over the pico 4. Using VD with a 4090.. I also tried a link cable for the quest 3 off Amazon and the compression was terrible , basically unusable so best way is 100 % virtual desktop. + 4090 .. I even preferred to the the crystal that I sent Back ! Hope someone finds this comment helpful ! I would really like to try the genuine fibre optic link cable because I get worried about streaming all the data over Wi-Fi to something strapped to my head .. long term effects aren't really tested
Wifi on the head is my concern. Quest 3 need wifi 6 / 6e wireless to work correctly. They need to put a display port on the next Quest 3 pro or Quest 4. so we can use on the desktop, with no wifi directly on the head. I would prefer a box with the battery attached to the belt for wireless mode, But i know they would prefer put a wifi on the head even it is bad for the health.
Until problems appear and people start complaining and ban the device. Nobody has tested the headset with a radiation reader. I would be interested to see the levels. At least to know if it is as bad as a phone on the ear during a call, or a bad notebook not well insulated, or a ear bud or tablet/phone that send too much radiation.
It can't be good for you put it that way .. 100% bad for brain health , possible cancer causing in long term on genetically pre disposed people .. display port is a no brainier for seated sims but more expensive headset
You insist we need a 4090 to choose a Quest 3 over a HP Reverb and I argue you don’t. I am getting 72 fps with a 3080 Ti when I was on the low twenties with the HP. The FoV is better, sharpness is better too.
Can't do godlike 90hz HEVC 10bit
Or 120hz godlike HEVC.
So, yeah, you need more than 3080ti to make use of these features.
@@virtuallyreal That is a poor argument. You can do 72 Hz/fps in Godlike HEVC 10 bits and it run likes butter. That is TWO TIMES AND A HALF the fps I was getting with the same 3080 Ti on the Reverb, which is collecting dust since the Quest arrived as you can imagine, so no, you do not need a 4090 to get more of the Quest 3 than of the Reverb.
@@jango71 maybe your thinking solely msfs where you never have framerate for VR anyway.
90hz and godlike 10bit is possible on Pico 4 with 3080ti but has issues on quest 3 for whatever reason.
And as I can't use the 120hz mode in godlike on even normal HEVC, so for me personally streaming pcvr it offers nothing I can actually use over the Pico 4 when using my 3080ti.
Not that I actually stream PCVR anyway.
Considering I've a few headsets here (but not the g2- I hated it) you cant even compare 72hz streaming Vs 90hz display port.
I know msfs players disregard all latency but that's a huge difference for PCVR when you are making framerate- like you should be for VR.
Fov on quest 3 comes at cost of very low overlap, I know reverb g2 is low but quest 3 is even lower still when factoring in the rotated displays.
And sharpness? I have no idea what you are talking about there, artificial sharpening ontop of compressed image?
For you to have such low framerates with G2 it suggests you didn't tune settings correctly
If you are running 72hz and 1.0 in link software for quest you are massively sub sampled, even maxing the link slider isn't near quest 3 native 100% render as it's still treated like a quest pro in link (wrong encode Res and wrong render Res)
It'll be no surprise if you had G2 on 100% against what's 50% of a quest pro for example.
Oculus software is bloat, same as wmr, so between the two headsets at similar render Res using openxr which it needs to be in msfs, it's all down to your GPU, not the headsets.

Do you know if there are any fixes to the dismal lenses in the G2? I love the headset quality, but hate how much I have to move my head to clearly see anything that isn’t directly in front of my face.
for the first time coming form an index. i run MSFS on my quest 3 with OpenXR and the Quest Link Cable, what can i say, i can fly everything on Ultra and screenres at 200, its just incredible. Frames around 30 - 45 but everything buttersmooth. Of course in OpenXR i have FOV rendering on and Turbo Mode, so no asynchronous spacewarp.
I’m running MSFS on an AMD 3900X with an RTX3080 and VDXR. It’s connected via a dedicated router at 5Ghz for Virtual Desktop. The quest 3 is at least its equal in performance but its a lot smoother and I’m not getting any stuttering. Those lenses…. Wow. I also now have a G2 boxed up and ready to sell.
Good thing I bought quest3!! It's time to enjoy DCS and Quest 3 without worrying about the future. Thank you, Steve. 👍

Ok guys i really need some advice but im torn between quest 3 and pimax crystal. Im coming from a reverb g2 and only use it for flight sim. Ive got a 4090 and a 7800x3d. Im just trying to decide if doubling the price is worth it or do i get quest 3 now and the pimax 12k when it eventually releases....

I`m not a Flightsimmer, but a Sim Racer. And I'm still on a 2080ti! Even Asseto Corsa Competizione runs good enough with ASW enabled.

Wait for the 5000 series and use what you got because the cheaper 5000 series will be better. Buy yourself a better computer with that money if you like to build one yourself it’s cheaper. Do this only if you have a hp reverb g2 with a 3000 series GC.
@@MPSB12 That is what I will do. A Quest 3 and my 3080 Ti and I am set for one or two years.
I use the Quest 3 with an RTX3080 and I confirm that in PCVR Link the work is better than on the Quest 2 thanks to its chip. better encoding as you say and that gives room to be able to adjust your game.
For example for the same resolution, the image is already better thanks to the lenses but I can add a lot more graphics towards hight or ultra than on a quest 2 where I had to settle for low or medium graphics. On Quest 2 I had to focus everything on resolution and supersampling. With quest 3 the immersion is more beautiful thanks to the graphic upgrade that still leaves me available.
Knowing that personally I only use the Oculus software and Oculus debug tools, nothing else and the performance is good.
The most spectacular gain for me is on DCS world or with quest 2 when we approach the ground it had a tendency to lag. here with quest 3 I have a constant image at 36 fps in all situations.
So yes clearly you need a good graphics card that can do 4k like an rtx 3080 and above and you can finally run the games.
Playing Half Life Alyx in 8k resolution is also a joy 😀
i think the best feature would be the mura from the psvr2, meta still has not managed quality control

Cheers mate! Contrary to others, I still feel Link is better, even though VDXR rocks, image quality can still suffer unless you have a really strong network (which I don't). VR settings are inbound soon. Take care.

Thank you for then great video. I love the Quest 3 and upgraded from a Rift S so I am blown away in MSFS. I am running with Open XR on turbo mode with CAS. I love it. I will experiment with the reprojection some more. And thabnks for mentioning the lenses, I think I paid a hundred bucks or so for lenses for my first Rift, previous to the Rift S. The ones for the Quest 3 are a real bargain.
Are you using steam vr as the runtime or oculus.
I’m running steam vr as openxr runtime set to auto configure graphics. I have quest 3 set to 1.5x which is like 5xxx by 5xxxx. I run iracing via open xr. I’ve tried many different settings and combos but this was by far the best

I have a 5800x3D, 32Gb RAM, M2 and 4070 Ti and i can´t make FS20 to run and see good even at medium settings...
DCS on my 3090 looks amazing, much better then the G2 IMO, on MFS I still coudn't dial the settings in for good clarity unless I brute force it on upsacling in the sim itself which kills performance, but the performance is great ATM, waiting on the your setup guide for MFS hopefuly using virtual desktop!
im thoroughly enjoying the quest 3 in DCS reprojecting at 40 fps locked (80fps) and upscaled resolution with high settings...💥
My problem with the Quest 3 are:
-There is no Display port to prevent from wifi radiation ( that could appear with wifi 6/6e needed to work correctly) and allows more stable application, higher quality, higher framerate.
-128 GB and 512 GB are nothing today. They should have 1TB/2TB ssd. why not allow pluging a nvme ssd pcie4 on the side of the Headset to extend the storage?
-PCVR depends on virtual Desktop app to work wirelessly. what if the app is not supported anymore and removed from the store ?
-PCVR use the wifi to access the app, so the overall performance decrease, compression are more visible.
You forgot the design and form factor. I decided to skip the pimax path because no way I'm going to wear a 2kilos headset that has many many problems. Not worth. The Quest 3 is impressive and beautiful. I recommend it. I wouldn't lose one second deciding between the "high end" headsets and this. I tried the pimax crystal and returned. It was awful and terrible beta quality product. Maybe the big screen beyond one day, but I believe that the VR way is going with Meta.
It's not 2kg and it feels like wearing a helmet. Quite comfortable to be fair! It also has the best visuals in VR
@@VRFlightSimGuy maybe but It's a very poor designed headset, with tons of problems. I know about the visuals but you are skipping the issues and tons of problems users are reporting even after the updates. You maybe have contact and a business relationship with pimax (allowing you to have instant support) but for the regular user is a BIG red light/no go.

Is this headset still recommended for X-Plane 12? Usage of the Openxr tool is suggested, but I can’t find Laminar Research on the OpenXR developer list
If it had direct connect and eye tracking this would have killed the higher end headsets.

Can the quest 3 at its very best, compare with running the reverb G2/4090 at 200% render scale with DLSS quality on top? If so I will get the quest 3.
At that level of SS, no, but remember, those pancake lenses are wonderful.
Also, I think flying an aircraft through controllers pointing to the screen (aircraft controls) is detrimental to immersion: I’d like to keep steering trough my physical HOTAS. Is there any solution for this?

Is the quest 3 good for dcs and il2. A friend is getting to me for Christmas and I want to know before he buy's it.
I have a 3090 and just like you said, I have to override the resolution in the OpenXR toolkit to at least 3400 but the result is excellent on the Quest 3. I unfortunately had to disabled the CAS upscaling though because it made the picture blurry so I lost that performance boost. Unfortunately the ASW doesn't work well for me at all even in other games. I dont know why but it causes too much warping of the image. I tried to put 72hz refresh rate and lock it at 36 fps and even with 40 fps reached, it doesn't work well.
So, would you not recommend that I get a q3 if I have a 3090? I have a ryzen 7 7700x and 32gb ddr5 ram.
Also, what is ASW? Do you use your q3 for X plane or msfs with the 3090?
@elfalert3231 Quite the opposite, I think Quest 3 with 3090 is a very good match. If you do more than flight sim, Quest 3 is, in my opinion, the best all-rounder out there. If you focus on flight sim only, there are better choices but a bit more expensive, like the Varjo Aero, Bigscreen Beyond. However, I use the Quest 3 for much more games especially wirelessly and at the price there is no better. You would need some accessories though like a good headstrap preferably with battery lime Bobovr
@elfalert3231 ASW is asynchronistic spacewarp. It is a reprojection algorithm by Meta app. It is supposed to smoothen the image, however for me it causes too much warping and it becomes distracting.

I'm running an AMD 6700xt playing DCS on quest link getting 55-FPS without FRS enabled for some reason it won't let me enable it im sure with that and a little tuning i can get to 72FPS waiting for GEN 5 cards to come out before i go for top of the line.

Hi Steve im about to purchase another headset, I have a AMD ryzen 5 3600 6 core (3.59 GHZ) graphics is a 2060 super, will this work with the varjo aero (and is it a must to have the base station) second question will the quest 3 work with my system?? so that leads to the question 3, which is the best one for me . i have perscription glasses inserts but the ipd on the quest 2 is not big enough, I love msfs but its been so frustrating for me not getting the correct clarity do to IPD and glasses inserts. Please help with these questions if you can? or if there is anyone out there who as the same issues please help thank you

I have a 30 series GPU, Quest 3 was hot buttered garbage with it. I will be using the G2 for flight simulation until I upgrade the GPU.
I'm pretty happy with the Q3 so far, I run MSFS through Oculus Tray Tool at 30Hz and supper sampling at 1.2 and its very smooth.
I cant really push it and further than that though due to my lowly 2080Ti and i9 9900K.
I haven't played MSFS for over a week though since the West Balkans DLC came out for ETS2 so I've been exclusively driving that.
Got a text from Royal Mail this morning to say my VR-Rocks will arrive Tuesday :) and also my BoboVR strap should hopefully be here before the end of the week.
ETS2, interesting. I have the Quest 2 set to 72 Hz, link cable, no asynchronous time warp. 3090 RTX. I run ETS2 at 72 Hz and it works fine for the most part. But sometimes the game randomly goes into some terrible stuttering mode. To cure it, I need to pause the game, go back to the menu, and the frames will shoot back to 72 Hz, and I can return to driving again. Sometimes, in the menu, I will have to go into the settings, like controls or graphics, to "reactivate" the stable 72 Hz again, with no actual changes. Weird. I have like 20-40% performance headroom according to the oculus debug tool. Do you know if there is a fix for this randomly appearing stutter mode?
@@VNAV_PTH I was having the same problem but since I lowered vegetation and grass down a notch it hasn't done it again so far, I had both set to high before but read somewhere that both these setting are very intensive.
I have the Q3 set to 72Hz and OTT set to 30Hz and no Super Sampling in ETS2, I have scaling set to 300% in ETS2.
Its still a bit blurry in the distance but apparently that's a game engine problem and AA doesn't work properly, hopefully the DX12 upgrade coming early next year will fix it.
@Gassit Thanks, I will try your recommendations. Though, I have a feeling it's a bug. Because it just happens without warning, totally inconsistent and can be fixed by going back to the menu and fiddle. If I had stutters all the time, that would be a different thing. It goes from a steady 72 Hz to like 30-50 and becomes unplayable. I have scaling at 150% and that gives me enough headroom to run the game at the same refresh rate as the Quest 2, at 72 Hz. So your 30 in the Debug tool is disabled or the equivalent. I don't remember exactly what it's called but I seem to remember that if set to 30, and the Quest 2 refresh rate is set to 90, the game will run at 30 FPS and the headset will inject 2 frames for every 1 frame from the game. I tried that but eventually settled with disabling that feature and lowered the scaling to 150%, which meant I could run everything at 72 Hz. I think it was the smoothest experience when I was experimenting with those settings, a good while ago.
@@VNAV_PTH Your description of the "bug" and the fix for it is was almost exactly what I was getting except I would have to go into the graphics options and change something, accept the change and then change it back, it didn't matter what I changed as long it prompted the game to trigger the loading screen.
@Gassit Then it seems very related. Except that I don't have to change anything and make the loading screen come on. Oh, I forgot to mention that the stutter mode can appear by being in the menu. For instance switching between the controls and and key settings, or graphics, I can see the FPS in the debug tool performance window (the one you can activate and see in the headset) drop from 72 Hz to the earlier mentioned fluctuating 30-50. Then, when selecting another thing in the menu it shoots back up to 72, and I can hit drive and all is fine until the next time it comes on. It can take a good hour sometimes before it appears again, sometimes 5 minutes or 30 seconds. Anyway, I will definitely lower the grass and vegetation as per your recommendations. I just got a Quest 3 and upgraded my PC with a 4070 Ti, a Ryzen 7 5900x and 32GB of ram at 3600mhz, but for some reason I'm only managing to get around 40-45 fps with DLSS on and most settings at medium or lower. It honestly doesn't look nearly as great as I was hoping, and I really thought I'd be able to get a higher fps with even higher graphics settings. Do I just need a 4090 to really get a mind blowing experience with this game or is there something I'm missing? If anyone can point me to a video for setting up FS2020 with a similar rig, I'd really appreciate it, because I don't know what I'm missing.

I read several places that the 5700x (Which is what I meant to write in my last comment) was more than good enough to handle this game in VR as long as I've got the GPU to back it up, which the 4070 Ti can definitely do. But I guess I shouldn't trust everything I read online. It's certainly more than enough to play every other game I'll ever play, VR or otherwise, so I guess I'll just have to settle for what I'm getting, which is still very playable.

I don't understand. What does charge have anything to do with this. Cable link is no that good. Just use Virtual desktop and plug in to wall. What does suck with these headsets is that you need a damn 4090 to get it to look good. Many of us do not have a 4090 or can afford to get one, or hate to be burned again with a potential new model coming out after dishing out for 3080s. So yeah, in that case Reverb is the way to go. Screw the Aero. That's obsolete already. Even with the price cut I don't think it's worth it, unless your rich.

I've played a nearly solid 5 hours today. 4080 with link cable and it was only towards the end of the last flight it said I needed to charge it.
Yeah, I have both Quest 3 and G2. 3080ti. G2 for me performs smoother.. Not sure if I can tweak FS for Quest 3 on a 3080ti.@@loganhumphries4851

I don’t know why everybody saying to spend another $2000.00 on another VC after you spent $500.00 on the Quest 3. The smart thing to do is wait and wait. You’re better off building a better PC or waiting for the new 5000 series RTX that will blow out that weak 4090. Smart people wait while you know what people jumps.

Hi. Can someone help or advise me ? I am looking to take MSFS 2020 to VR. My system is a AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8 Core booster to 5Ghz. RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X GPU. 32 GB of system RAM. Not a slow machine. My internet is slowish compared to fibre at 50-55 mpbs download speed. I have run several tests and the latency varies between 9 - 12 ms ish. I have been told I must have a wired Ethernet connection to use Virtual Desktop and then MSFS 2020 through this. Is this correct ? Can some help ! I’m confused. Many Thanks.
No!, Virtual Desktop only works to connect your HeadSet over WLAN and the Router to your PC! Only the PC must connected to your Router over a wired Ethernet-Connection.Your WLAN must be in 5GHz, otherwise it does not work. If you have no WLAN with 5GHz you must connect the Quest 3 with USB-C direct to PC and you have great Flighing in VR. 👍🙂

Anybody tried quest 3 hand tracking in DCS?
I’ve just purchased the Quest 3 headset and I thing it’s amazing with MSFS 2020. Russ demonstrated using the quest 3 using mixed reality and some pass through features in some of his video’s (th-cam.com/video/gnHjON9l0lU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vxgC_QyU2MvcTw52). I agree the functionality of the Quest 3 is second to none. Great video!

What are your game settings? I have RTX 3090 too and i have 1.2 resolution and DCS on high/mid settings. Most time i have 72FPS+ but sometimes it drop to 36 and activate ASW and its very frustrating :/.
