I'm just an ol' granniemaw who bought her first recreational kayak late last summer to float around on Kentucky Lake...but when I'm out there I become *Kristine*, Queen of the Kayaks! I love watching your sport fishing videos and I love thinking about them when I'm floating! You are an inspiration not only to young women everywhere but to us seasoned ladies, as well! Beautiful rig, Kristine, have a wonderful fun-filled 2023!! 🙂
Beautiful rig. You have thought of everything. I have a pro angler 12. I am going to upgrade my batteries next. thanks so much for the video well done!!
I like this one. I looked up that link and Hobie pro angler 14 360 green one is sold out. I like these set up. This is awesome. I enjoyed and watched one of the best fishing videos you have caught the big ones. Really Amazing! You got subscribed!
Hey you did a very good job of being informational on the kayak and that really helped about the two batteries for your electronics stay safe and thank you.
Hi Kristine! I just found your channel when this video came up on my feed, and I just subscribed to it. What a really nice video! You're rig is amazing, and I really enjoyed the way you toured and detailed the setup. Very nicely done! Now I'm really excited to see you on the water fishing! Thanks for the great Vid!
Really enjoyed the video Christine that is amazing set-up you got it's so refreshing to see you happy and positive things are on the high side for you wish you the best in the 2023 season 😁🐟🎣
Miss Fisher love your shows keep coming with them. I am interested in the length of your kayak with the torpedo on it just a general overall length. Thank you for your time . Ben
Hey I just had to leave you another message I'm watching you on.Das Boat I'm so tickled to death that you made it above so many other anglers that don't know how to get where you're going you're going to become a legend your humble you keep it about the sport and not about yourself you don't flaunt yourself in front of the camera you truly are one-of-a-kind keep going and God bless don't forget where you came from 👍🌟🐟🎣
What an awesome rig Kristine. Love your videos, keep em coming. My rig here in Australia is nowhere near yours but you're a big inspiration and i'm still working/adding to my 2.7m cheap yak. Peace and love to you beautiful lady. Fish on xx
That's a really clean setup Kristine. Weight distribution is becoming more and more critical with our modern kayaks and your new setup vastly improved that for your yak. Love the custom kayak kushions..that is really trick. Well done all the way around.
Awesome video. I heard what you did with your last hobie(if true). That was very nice of you. Major props in my book. I don't have a kayak yet but my dream setup would be close yours with minor tweaks. Thank you for sharing your new setup.
Really am liking the new kayak setup. Can't wait to see ya back in action on the water. Hoping that i will be able to upgrade to a new kayak this year.
I'm curious that you have your fishfinders forward of your pedals. Do you "set it- and - forget it" and dont mess with the options once you are on the water?
Wow, that is a dream kayak and setup. Do you still bring a paddle or the pedal drive as back up/emergency option? What is the total weight now minus your fishing rods and tackle boxes? Thanks for the detailed show and tell. Best of luck this year, stay safe and we'll be rooting for you as always.
Very cool setup and thanks for the tip about the 2 batteries for live scope. I have a lowrance 10 something was thinking about getting the live scope trans for it. I am thinking about making a video of what i am going to do to the titan.
Hey there Kristine, loved this setup...very jealous! At the 14;23 mark, you have your hand on some kind of plastic mesh thing. Just wondering where you got that?
@@kristinefischer2289 Ehy Kristine, I've just got my Active Target Live sonar and I will definitely mount it in the same way as u did. in the front hatch.
I do like the battery trey up front. I've been kayak fishing from Hobie pa12s for 8yrs now. I finally got a 106sv recently, my first graph. Im about buy an Lvs34 system. I still haven't decided exactly where I like having battery yet? I've been playing around with it in different places. I'm running my graph on a amped outdoors 32ah 14.8v lithium. I'm planning on running the lvs34 system on it also. It's supposed to be ratted to run a 10" Garmin & Lvs 34 systems combined for 13+ hours. It's same size as a 12ah 12v sla battery. But it weighs less than 4lbs! It's been an awesome little battery so far. If I do have any issues with power I would add another identical battery. We will see how that goes. I also have a steady cast. Where do you put your steady cast on your rig??
I want one. 😆. Do you have any videos of your trailer, how you lock it up while on the road, and what all you take off kayak while you driving or staying in a hotel? Thx.
I've seen Christine stand on the lid of the front hatch on a PA on a couple occasions. Is that reinforced in any way? I am only comfortable putting 1 foot at a time on when sometimes when launching
14:52 - I’d like to hear more about the issues you were having with the livescope and graphs on one battery? I’m setting my kayak up with Active Target 2 and a HDS live, maybe save me some trouble! Great video and dream kayak setup!
They were sold a few years back, but the new owners have invested tremendously into the company! There’s a reason I’m still with hobie, it’s the best platform out there
Hobie kayaks are amazing. I have about six myself so if that helps you any there you go they are pricey, but they are so worth it but also my main set up cost roughly 22 grand so yeah, if you want the best best set up just saying and spend a lot but also the blowup kayaks of them are really good. I have one - yeah hopefully this helped
Kristine..question..you choose to go with a rear motor…why not a front motor ? Thanks…I also went with rear with foot steering..just wondering..thanks Tom
Great question Tom! For my style of fishing, the torqeedo works best. I get way more speed, less clutter up front, and because of my 360 drive in the hobie, I dont really feel the need for a spot lock motor!
Awesome setup for this year!!! What is issues with running LS & a single graph on 1 battery? I would assume with correct gauge wire & wireing done correctly. You wouldn't have any voltage issues?
Awesome video Kristine. Have you heard from the lady in Mexico how her kayak is going for her that you gave her by the way that was so awesome of you. Have you heard from her? I hope she is doing well and making good progress in her fishing
Love the 23 setup! As always thank you for a wonderful video. I have a PA14 with the 1103 on it, could you pass the INFO on what motor mount you went with? I wish you the best of luck this year! :~)

that rail track mount you show when discussing the motor lift. Is it a made for the hobie rail or something that was rigged together
This was made for the hobie rail, but they have the stuff to do this on any yak

Do you know the approximate run time of your torqeedo with a fully charged battery?
Yes- at full speed which is 6.7 mph it gives you 7-8 miles. If you back it down to 5 mph it is about 14 miles. There’s a chart somewhere on the web, but if you’re easy on the throttle, you can go forever.
