I’m betting that pic of Zelda is a wanted poster and she’s on the run, like early on in Link to the Past. Hence why she is wearing a cape and hood to hide her identity. We shall see.
About the sparkly vase thing at around 9 minutes...maybe it's an Echo you haven't gotten yet and it's letting you know you can "scan" it or whatever. lol

My assumption was just that when you see the world at a distance there's less detail in the environment and obviously no.enemies, but it is the actual world.
However, you may be right. Maybe that scene is only a cutscene and that's it.
Deku Baba were literally in the first trailer.
Yeah, I was about to write this. He even points out there is a detailed bombable wall. Well, it is close, so it would be loaded in more. The trees in front are also more detailed. Now why would they need to strip it back so much, that is, lower resolution, on a 2.5D world? Not sure.
The idea of NPCs being named making them important is kinda misplaced when every NPC in BOTW and TOTK had a name regardless of importance. Unless they where Yiga but they are enemies.
Fun fact, almost every single character in Oracle of Seasons and Ages are also named

In the Japanese only trailer you can see the King and some of his subjects being swallowed up by the riffs and they turn gray right before they fall in.

I think the tiny triangles surrounding objects may just mean it's something you can make an echo of.

Blue is usually associated with time: time shift stones, ocarina of time. What if this extends the life of an echo?
@@luisyera2330maybe but historically the blue potion either restored both health and magic or was just a full heal potion.
The lizard can also be a Geru which has only appeared in Aol and Tri can open the portal to the rift because they are a gate as their Japanese name suggest which is Torii.
9:30 - I believe the tries around the pot indicate that you can harness that as a try for future usage. Maybe pointing out tries that you haven’t accessed yet in your arsenal

The sparkles around the jar/pot mean Zelda can make an Echo of it.
I’m willing to bet the blue potion is for breath while diving. The Zora scale lets Zelda hold her breath longer. But she may need the potion before getting that or to further lengthen this duration.
That's a light blue potion. In the game(s) that it has been in, it has been an "oxygen" potion that helps Link stay longer underwater when an oxygen meter is present.
I’m assuming during the story (Or in side quests) you can get extra Triangles which means you can create one strong thing or multiple weak thing etc.
at 19:11 you can see a weather vane like the ones that were in A Link Between Worlds. Because of the castle, we can assume that's Hyrule Castle Town and not Kakariko.
But there are already warping points (the weird Pikmin 4 trees) so I wonder what purpose it serves...

4:15 it is clear what blue does! Zelda has a blue swim wheel, and we know from items that we need to find ways to make her ability to hold breath longer.

Seems like that's an indicator that you can add that to your copy repertoire.
For what I've noticed, Echoes despawn after a certain amount of time, with times varying depending on the cost of the Echo. But the Echo "breaking" and maybe even if Zelda just goes too far away from the Echo might make it despawn too.
20:30 Maybe that's a Gerudo like Koume or Kotake? They didn't wear traditional Gerudo gear, they wore robes cuz they were witches. Or something like that.
Tri only had three tri’s at the last scene when entering the portal.

Look at the design on the red and blue pots, red has hearts and the blue has some sort of weird design on it. Maybe a clue as to what it does.
I think your "berry" at 5:52 is the same as the "bunch of grapes" at 13:14.
Suthorn is in the Faron Province. We don't know if it'll be the only place there (I assume not, since there's also the Deku Village). We know there's two towns in the Lanayru Province (one for the Sea Zora, and one for the River Zora), and there's two in Eldin Province too. Assuming it's still called that, the Gerudo Province has only one town that we know of. And we don't know if there's two in Central Hyrule or not. I'm hoping there will be other provinces to come, because notably, there's two different types of mountain range, and oddly enough, Death Mountain (the traditionally triangular shaped one) appears to no longer be in Eldin, which is rather odd (but then again, in BotW/TotK, Spectacle Rock is in the Gerudo Province).

Thinking about it, I wouldn't put it past nintendo to randomly bring back a one off character/species like the Zuna, which we really only see in Four Swords. If the speculation is right, it could be a lore thing I feel? Maybe a way to further explain the rifts/tri-rod? Or a later game idea of how to stop the rifts/Ganon.

The rocky craglands to the east of hyrule castle really remind me of A Link to the Past.
That's because it's literally the same location as LTTP. The new trailer's map confirms the swamp south of Link's House has an almost identical layout as well.
Allegedly there's a map that reveals location names. Everything from LTTP is mostly in the same locations, but it seems like Kakariko is moved west. Zora's River is probably gone now as well in favor of Jabul Waters, though I speculate that the zora fountain may be where Zora's River was.
Yeah, the map seems to use the same basic structure as A Link to The Past but expanded and maybe more detailed
I just realized the design on the blue potion pot matches the design on Link's cloak from the initial trailer. It's probably for a game mechanic we haven't been shown yet.

How can you not tell that pot has an echo you can learn!? That's the same particle effect the table has in the announcement trailer when they reveal the echo system.

As someone who watches all the analysis for both BOTW & TOTK, now EoW... Nintento only releases what they want you to see, and know, so for most of us, we can jump into game and not be completely lost. It helps reduce the friction of early adopters. And speaking from past experiences of both games, there will be plenty of surprises even if you complete the game 3x over.
I mean technically not ruining anything since this is all in the trailer Nintendo provided. Everyone could watch it multiple times and pick up the same hints/speculations

ALttP has a special place in my heart as my first Zelda game, and I love the Wild games, so seeing the DNA of both iterations so clearly in this game makes me really excited =D

My guess for the blue potion maybe it creates temporary tris kinda like the lifeblood in hollow knight or comparable mechanics. Like you get a blue tri but you lose it when you use it. That’s not backed up by anything just what my brain goes to
I've been guessing that the blue potion is an Air Potion like in Skyward Sword or something similar.
Edit: Which could make the wavy blue line design on the pot a representation of water.

I'm really excited about this game. I only got a switch in April and only had a 3ds until then. So I'm really glad that I got a switch not knowing that this would come out as well as Mario and Luigi. This is the next game that I'm purchasing and definitely getting a physical copy. I'm just hoping that there are real traditional dungeons in this game.

This was not a good analysis. A lot of the stuff you pointed out was in previous trailers or misinformed.

There's clearly at least one dungeon in the trailer. During the Bind section when Zelda moves the giant boulder this is an indoor temple like location, and there's a switch in the corner. This is literally a dungeon, though probably a tutorial dungeon of sorts.
The first trailer also lets us see a sewer dungeon, though that might just he part of the Hyrule Castle escape.

I wish that in the future games they would do it all organic terrain. No block style. And they should do a new advanced Link 2 .
What a waste of time, majority of this was just, "ZOMG, LOOK HOW LITTLE/MANY TRIS THERE ARE!," like dude, we get it the first few times that there's a regenerating feature for Zelda's magic, no need to draw it out for 10+ minutes 🙄

I think it's probably the case that the objects further away are stripped back, but its still in the main world itself. The closer objects are still in view though, which is why the bombable rock wall is present.
Stripping back detail on distant objects is a common way to save on memory.
Alex hasn't even explained where Echos of Wisdom fits in the Zelda timeline. I'm very disappointed.
