Ryan’s videos have a certain magic-drawing you in and sparking a belief that the world is full of adventure, waiting to unfold in the most unexpected and beautiful ways.
@@RyanShirley I’m from India 🇮🇳, and your videos truly capture the spirit of adventure! I’d be thrilled to meet you if you ever decide to explore India! P.S. I noticed you mentioned India in your 100 Places on Earth video-wondering if you've visited yet?
Wow, wow , wow!!! Ryan I can’t believe on my trips to Switzerland I never came here! Your color grading is insane on this! I love the vibrant colors! I wish I had the nerves for that ladder 😮. My next Swiss trip will be here and Switzerland. These lakes man ! I’m picking my jaw up off the floor after seeing this! Love the history you tell. You are the best man no one makes a travel video like you dude!
Bro I think you’d love Austria, just like Switzerland but more affordable and not as busy. And as for colorgrading this is basically how it looked in camera, i just add a tiny bit of brightness and saturation. Can’t wait to see your iceland video!
@@RyanShirley hey brother that would be awesome Switzerland with a cheaper price for sure! That’s crazy. I think those tree colors by the lake are stupendous. Simply amazing video!
Austria truly shines as one of Europe’s most stunning destinations, and this video beautifully captures its charm! From the iconic Hallstatt to the adventurous Sky Ladder via ferrata, each highlight showcases the country’s diverse beauty. The serene lakes, majestic castles, and breathtaking alpine roads make this guide an inspiring invitation to explore. Stunning visuals and an informative itinerary.. Once again, great stuff Ryan!! 🇦🇹
I was online this morning 15 hours ago and nothing from TH-cam about it. The videos are the same but I like to see them as soon as they drop. Austria is one of my favorite places too. I can't believe you did the Sky Ladder, but then having seen many of your videos, of course you would. Great recommendations.
I always look forward to your comments! Where are some of your favorite places and regions in Austria? The sky ladder wasn’t too bad, people from all ages were doing it. Just more physically exhausting climbing and hiking for about 4 hours
@@RyanShirley You were in the big Hohe Tauern National Park with Grossglockner and the Krimml Waterfalls, a favorite hiking place. Some day you might go to the other small province like Voralberg, Burgenland in the far east of Austria. Voralberg is mountains and Burgenland is fairly flat with hills. It is known for its vineyards and wine and its 12 castles but these are mostly Baroque palaces, not medieval. You're doing this right by doing all the incredible hkes and climbs now. Later on, cities like Vienna have tons of history, architecture, art and music to explore, not to mention gteat food. Many go to Salzburg for Mozart's birthplace (but the Mozart summer festival is super expensive). Austria is one of the first places I visited outside the U.S. when I was a teen.
Dear friend, Austria is a wonderful country...landscapes and nature of incredible beauty...the Sky Ladder via ferrata is truly spectacular and adrenaline-filled..wowwww!👍👍
This is not just a video; it’s an adventure in itself! Again, from the Maestro of the videos full of scenery and accustomed narrative to motivate everyone just to follow the journey and enjoy the magic. As a ferrata fanatic, I respect very much your endevour to fully complete that attractive and a bit risky ferrata which is absolutely epic! Amazing work-this deserves a wide audience!
Bro your comment made my day! I can see from your profile pic you live via ferratas 😁🧗🏼♂️ do you have a favorite via ferrata or any recommendations? I think I want to do the longest one in Switzerland this summer
If you think of Daubenhorn Via Ferrata, then you would be an alpine hero. It is K5-6, be very careful. Recommend you to visit there too the insta attractive one, Via Ferrata Mürren-Gimmelwald. Keep going on wirh your adventures, Ryan!
Awesome video again Ryan! I didn't know much about Austria but it looks incredible, especially those lakes and mountains. Will be adding plenty of these places to my bucketlist
Thanks so much Tom! You definitely gotta add it to your Europe 2025 list! Like Switzerland but more affordable! Hope all is well in Australia! Got any exciting travels coming up?
@@RyanShirley Lots of Australia and West Aus travel. Next major trip will be Europe again mid next year. Hoping to fit in some more travel in between :)
wow, memories. i went to austria in june 2023, and i loved every second of it. Hallstatt, Gosau, Salzburg, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, it was just all stunning and i will never forget it. but my absolute favourite thing i went to there which is not included in this video is the Eisriesenwelt ice cave, close to the Hohenwerfen Castle. it is just otherworldly and so mystical (and cold lol). its a little bit expensive but 1000% worth it, and also the cable cars and hikes to get there are just as awesome. totally recommend it to you ryan :)
@ I’m not sure mate probably not, heights are a fear of mine and although I like to try and combat my fears that might be a STEP too far. Brilliant mate
Oh boy i lust love your videos. Never skip a single second of your videos. Austria has always been on my bucket list. insha'Allah i will go next year. Waiting for your Denmark video 😊
Thanks so much brother! I’ll try to make a Denmark video next summer, I visited Faroe Island and made a video on them which is technically part of Denmark but gotta do a video of the full country soon

There is a cliffjump spot at the wolfgangsee. I saw you liked to do that in some of your video's I filmed that to, last 1,5 minutes of this video th-cam.com/video/oHQZTC50DmQ/w-d-xo.html Maybe you missed this?
Wow that’s awesome you hiked up there! As I was taking the train up I remember thinking this would be a very hard hike 😅 how long did it take for you to get to the top of Schafberg?
@RyanShirley It was hard but good :) Was a warm day. Took about 5 hours up & down again. I saw mostly Asian tourist taking that train, for posing at the top ;)
Austria is truly one of the most beautiful countries in Europe 🇦🇹🏔️
