Thanks for sharing. I am looking to use Onenote for digital organization and as with you I find home life a great place to start using this helpful product. I have currently been using Evernote for saving and digitizing parts of life and looking to at other digital aids too.
Thanks Carol for your comments. I used to use Evernote as well :). OneNote is a great resource because of it's sections and pages, in addition to its tags - so many ways to organize! Enjoy.
@@MissionComputers Perhaps you have knowledge of this question....I wanted to add a template or make a template but on my Mac I do not see it. I went to Insert on the ribbon but it is not there. Any ideas?
@@carolferrier5348 Hi. I don't have a mac to test on right now, but try this: 1. Create the Page the way you would like it to appear for the template. 2. Right Click on the Page name 3. Choose Set as Default Template
I started using One Note at work about 6 months ago to hold all of my resources, policies, etc. It is a really great program. I started one on my Android that has the family's meds, diagnoses, allergies.....books I want to read....Netflix series recommended to view....and for Christmas decided to put my Mom's recipes in one for the family to all have and this was helpful as well as the video on how it would look on a phone vs tablet since everyone may access it from different devices. I know how to share a link to my work one note to co-workers, but I am not sure how to do a link for a personal one. I am guessing the original Recipe One Note Notebook needs to be saved onto the cloud so they can access it? Thanks for your help!
You can share an entire notebook as long as it was created on OneDrive or SharePoint. So if you don't have it saved in the cloud, you are right to think you need to move it there. The only other option is if the notebook resides on a server that both people have access to...
