I just got this watch in 2021, it's really amazing to have this watch, with very good Japanese technology, even though this watch was produced in 1996 - 1997.

Thank you. I just repaired mine and had no idea what the lug-to-lug (16mm) measurement was. This watch has been with me for years (13+ years).
I remember this watch... my friend wore it when we were in junior high schools... that’s the coolest watch that I’ve seen back then... everyone envy with his watch... including me, even i asked my parent to buy me g-shock, but they didn’t give me one at that time..
when i was in senior high school, my father gave me g-shock, because i got good grade.. it has stick man dancing when i pushed the light, i really like this watch... but too bad it got stolen... do you know the model of g-shock with stickman dancing? Really appreciate if you help me to find the model of this g-shock, it’s something nostalgic for me

Is there any Auto Light in this Watch
Have you seen any place that sell this G-cool case set and strap replacement?
The function is similar to DW 8800 Codename.
Kinda minus the morse features. Fyi, they have same movement size means you could swap them. Now thats cool.
i have a GT-000 and it stopped working, i am not sure if it is battery or what and i need a new wrist band. Too $$$ to send back to Casio. Any advice? Where can I find used GT-000 for $30?
Yahoo Japan Auction, they usually goes for about 10usd or so depending on conditions.
Anyway, these GT-000 series usually last longer than most vintage G-Shock I know of, I rarely see a broken G-Cool series.
You probably just need a battery replacement. Do it yourself, for it current market value, you got nothing to lose and lot of experience to gain.
For watch band, you can use any silicone band on the market, buy a 22mm ones and cut the connection section only to 16mm to fit the lug. If you prefer G-Shock band, look for DW-9052 watch band.
