Now, that’s a proper looking Testatossa. Beautiful! I just watched Ferrari vs Ford over this past weekend. What a great movie. Full of beautiful old race cars. And outstanding recreated Le Mans race footage. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves vintage automobiles and race footage. See ya.

There was one parked at a local convenience store. Stopped to look at it and the owner asked if a wanted a ride. Oh hell yes! Have the hot wheels like this to restore.
That is a superb improvement over the original, which looked like somebody had carved a Ferrari out of a piece of poached salmon. So much more realistic and finally does justice to an iconic car.

I have a mint condition one of these but I also have the original one that I had as a child and it looks exactly like the one you started with.

I had this color changer model as a kid, if it was really hot it would turn white (i think). If it was really cold it would turn more red.. but ambient temperature in your house.. it would be in-between.. Almost always pink!
Pretty much my dream car, growing up I spent a lot of time around arcades and on my Sega Saturn and one of my go to games was Outrun and I even looked at getting one a few years ago but it just wasn't viable in the end.
Wow Danny! That looks incredible!!! I didn't think much to the hot wheels version of the testarossa but now you have sorted it out I think I prefer it to the matchbox version. Great work as always 👌

Great job and I still have one in my collection when I was a kid and it's still in mint condition, and it's still in my Hot Wheels case that I put in when I was a kid. Once in a while I'll take it out and admire it.

Possibly your best restoration+ that ive seen. Great job. I think the colour is what I think ferrari should be but ferrari fans would probably say its too red for that year range lol
