@@VanessaKanbi Hi there
Please can I have your email ?
I live in Canada and I am thinking To travel To Ghana in couple of mounths.
Have some questions.
Thanks
I’m from the uk and I’ve traveled a little and I can honestly say Ghana was the best holiday I’ve been on. I found the service good, eating out the most I probably waited for the food was 30 mins. The people are humble and dignified shopping was great KFC was finger lickin good, I just felt so much as home
This video was so helpful! Definitely grabbed the pen and paper 📝 👀
Hello my Sista from Scotland. I'm in DC, (Washington D.C.). Just wanted to say hello and that your show was very informative, thanks.
Much Love
Loved your video. I will be traveling to Ghana at the end of the month for two weeks. Can't wait.
Marva Coleman me to but in July not bad
At 6:00
I remember reading an article about how not doing things on time is affecting development for African countries. Things have to be done at certain times.
This video and some of your others helped sooo much.....Going to Ghana for afrochella and the year of return in a couple of weeks! Can’t wait
Let's linkup then💃

A little corruption? Lol. You're too kind ))) In general your review was quite accurate. Yeah we've got a lot of issues to deal with, but I agree, Ghana is the best place in the world!
Actually corruption is worse in America. Just complicated.
Nene Mensah thnx my fellow brethren from Ghana! Ghana is amazing! We may not be the best, but we r good!
Nice to see a video that doesn't try to sweep the not-so-good things under the carpet.
On driving, I would point out that many roads are not lit at night, and, with the white lines on the side of the road fading badly, it is sometimes difficult to actually see where you should be going, unless you are driving quite slowly.
I never had many issues with customer service. Perhaps a bit slow at times, but never a major issue. lack of experience shows itself here and there, but is made up with good intentions on the part of the waiter/clerk, etc..
Thanks for your insights, my daughter (17) and I are going in Jan 2020 to volunteer in a hospital for 3 weeks as part of her application to medical school here in Australia.

Hi thanks so much for such an informative video! I will be going there in June/July for a placement - but I hear that it will be rainy season during that time? Is it still worth going or should I try and choose another month to go?
Very helpful
I plan to go in May 2022 for two weeks, first time home in AfricA, ITS been a life dream
Cute video. My GF & I are planning to go to Ghana in late February or early March. We were thinking of an Airbnb, but after your comments...not so sure! It will be a long flight from the US and we won't be in the mood for nonsense when we arrive. The idea of a dedicated driver is a good one. I used multiple drivers in different cities in Pakistan recently and it worked out great. Any other tips or insider info would be appreciated.
which parts are you willing to live at, and how long are u planning to stay?
Don't know about Ghana but I can certainly hear
the Scottish in your accent. Loving it.
Lol yes born and raised in Edinburgh
Vanessa Kanbi For some reason I have always loved the history of the Scots even as far back as their struggle against the Brits. I don't know how true this claim is but it is said that one of their most ancient heros was Black and that many Black had settled in Scotland after being shipwreck there.
@ Vanessa Kanbi, I'm planning a trip to Ghana for me 50th birthday (January 2022) and I appreciate your videos. What are the best places to stay re: accommodations and best places to dance?
There are lots of vegetarian restaurants in Ghana. The place I stayed had a vegetarian restaurant on site.
I was there in October 2018. What about the great things about Ghana, people, fresh food, places to visit. So relieved that you ended on a positive about Ghana
Great video ... thank you for all of the useful information. I'm going at the end ofDecember and plan to stay most of January! First time going ... SUPER excited!!!

Thanks for the info. When is the best time to visit? I plan to visit in January for a few weeks and plan to stay at a Hostel. What are some of the basics i should bring?
lol like they say, "in Ghana, time repects people, people do not respect time" if they say the party starts at 12:00 plan for 2pm because everyone is going to take their sweet time after all there is no rush in life..(erm i i meant Ghana)
Actually lack of time management is an African thing

All Facts !!! I lived in Ghana for 10 years. I thought you were just going to biased about this video. But you said nothing but the truth.
it's true it is scarry to drive in Ghana , I'm gladd when I'm there my son drives me around :)
Thank u for ur review
Thanks for the yellow fever tip! I would have needed to get another injection this year
No vegetarian options??? More than half of elderly Ghanaians are vegetarian. There is such a trend of developing an ascetic lifestyle in Ghana once we hit our 40s. Every single chop bar, restaurant or home I've been to has always had veggie options, I'm baffled as to why all you had to eat was just rice and tubers

B-Town CHILL good luck to you on your move to the motherland! There’s a video on TH-cam by Native Borne and he tells u step by step what to do when starting a business and buying land! From what I see, $100k will allow u to live like a King over there. He interviewed a guy named Daniel and he bought acres of land and built a 7 bedroom 3 bath home for $200k. Keep us posted and again, GOOD LUCK

That's why we coming for 3 weeks 1st in Nov.
Come to Legon, university of Ghana campus. I think you will find a vegetarian food there whenever you're in Ghana.
I took my daughter to Ghana in August (her dad/my fiance lives in Ghana) she was just 4months at the time. I bought repellent for babies and children from amazon. Omg, it was the BEST, my princess didn’t get bitten ONCE and we were there for 6 weeks. I’d love to give tips to anyone taking young children or babies to Ghana
Kali S what repellant did you buy? I might need to look into that 😊
Tasha Kayden give me 1 minute sis i’ll find the link. I used 2 different ones and they were both excellent but if you can only get 1 then i’d say get the cream because you can put it on their face. My baby didn’t have 1 bite, not even a nibble
This is my first time watching your Ghana videos on TH-cam. I mean I use to watch you on Google and wonder to myself
Why in the heck I'm watching you on Google why not TH-cam. . Anyway I was watching your tip on Ghana and what to need to look forward too.
I from America and this going to be first time visit Ghana next year (June 2021) my BF live there. And we both excited to see each other. So really I try as get as much tips I can before I visit. I already save money for airplane ticket but my questions to you is how many shots do I have get. I mean I look on the listen and they name about 10 different name. Also the hotels, I was told pay them when I get there because they might turn around and say I didn't pay. So you have any good advice on these 2 thing I talk about. Thanks
Keysha these are good questions. I have saved my money and I am ready to purchase my ticket but I am really being cautious. I met someone and we have been talking for 2 1/2 and the relationship is solid enough now that we are meeting in person. But I think about will they deny me a visa for any reason and can I go to the clinics here in the states to get the shots. I am excited about going. I would have purchased my tickets but I am now slowed down because of the pandemic. I am excited and waiting.
I'm an American and the accent of your voice is hypnotizing me. And you wasn't born in Scotland. You was born in Heaven. That's how pretty you look
am thinking about going this year , but it feels challenging, till i set my foot on the ground . am going for business trip
Vanessa I like watching your videos. Why don't you get a Ghanaian passport? If you intend to visit Ghana more often it will be much more economical. This way you can get Ghanaian passport for both your husband and kids. You don't have to give up your UK citizenship as Ghana now accepts dual nationality.
Going this year in December for 3 weeks

yes!
Eating frest garlic is very good at rappelling mosquitoes. It really works
That's good to know

I hope their hotel's is well clean, cus I heard some about their hotel's.
this advice is only for people from england because it's much easier for someone from ameerica especially of african descent the 2019 recent passed laws right to return made it much easier for US Citizens to live and stay there
@Living With Ericka I bet you there's more crime in the USA than in Ghana. And most definitely Americans treat foreigners worse than foreigners get treated in Ghana.
No, this is good advice for everyone, even Ghanaians going back home.
Nene Mensah we have good law enforcement, yes some are bad, But most arent
Living With Ericka They have a lot of lies out now to get people into the country.
yes. but for black people in america it's good that they go back to africa to invest in property and developement not to live permenantly but to go back and forth to both continents plus invest in the culture and people an easy way for this to happen also and work for both sides is marriage I would like to see african girls marry young black american men a lot more this gives them both parties dual citizenship in both countries that they both can explore together there's a thought to speed this whole african thing up the brothers need a place outside of the united states to call home and have a annual economy of 1.2 trillion a year this could transform africa and it's people in many ways marriage is the key it's descent and a good way to connect two continents .
Am going next month after 11y
Wow 11years come back home soon
