That Episode of Them getting Fired Shirley Getting Married Leaving And Laverne having Her Hair Changed Her dad Losing The Pizza Bowl and There Friends Moving to California with Laverne and Shirley should have Never Took Place. 😬😬😬😬😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😠😠😠😠😬😬😬😬
laverne and shirley wasn't the same when they moved to cailfornia it wasn't the 50 setting i think that is what made people from continue watching it and it was finally cancelled
Yeah it was a big mistake moving them there. Penny Marshall wanted them to move to NYC. Carmine would have done well there and they probably would have gotten better jobs.
Well The Show will stay in Milwaukee by making the Past better Don't have the Characters Sing as Opera Singers in a Opera Voice just with Their Regular Voices let The Girls be Shown much in all Episodes so that can Invold The Bottle Caping Girls
@@travisjames3517 no, Penny didn't want them to go to California, one of the reasons being bc she didn't think they'd look working-class anymore living Burbank or wherever it was that they lived. There's an emmy legends clip on here where she talks about it. She also talks about it in her autobiography(a really great book btw)
I know many fans think the show died when they moved to California, I don't know, I loved the show from beginning to end. My favorite seasons were from Season 5 to 8. I actually moved to California because of Laverne & Shirley.
The Big Ragoo and his Angel Face - one of pop culture 's hottest couples! They are so much in love with each other. I wish they could get married because they definitely belong together ❤. Every couple should be like these lovebirds!!
I do love the Bardwell Caper episode in season 6 and the moment Laverne and Lenny sang The Look. Besides that yes the show ended right here for me too.
"Yesterday" by The Beatles, the song is cut from the DVD, Apple records probably wanted too much money or they didn't want to renew the contract and they lost the rights to the song. Now it's replaced by random instrumental ballad music.
A lot of the culturally significant shows that thrived in the gritty 70's felt weird and alien once they tried to shoehorn them into a more vapid, cocaine-clean 80's culture. Just had a different, empty feeling to me.
Or Stay in Milwaukee so that it can have Seasons 1 - 12, 260 Episodes for The Girls to be The only Characters to Appear in all the Episodes as Main Characters.
Because it brings back memories of a more innocent time in my life. I didn't hate Laverne & Shirley (and I still love its theme song), but I felt other sit-coms like Happy Days, Good Times, and Sanford and Son were better.
Laverne and Shirley was my favorite (and sitll is) sitcom of all time. The directors and producers destroyed the series when they had them move to California. From then on, it was all downhill. The show sucked. Shirley should have married Carmine, and Larverne, in my opinion, should have either hooked up with a Guido from Milwaukee or should have married Lenny who, in time, came of age and matured. Bad move, sending them to California, and bad finale. Too bad, for what could have been an iconic comedy classic. The move to California ruined the show.
People forget how funny the storylines were when they moved to L.A. like when Lenny and Squiggy were on the dating game. Laverne singing with Lenny. I'm glad they left Cold dark Milwaukee. The show didn't get bad until Shirley left. As talented as Penny was she just couldn't carry the show herself.
...even though Shirl and Carmine are havin' a VERY nice make-out session, LAVERNE and Carmine always had the steamier kisses, in my opinion...Italian BLOOD, y'know, ha-HAAA!!
Nice try, buddy. But we all know that the Big Ragoo and his Angel Face are meant to be together. Now if Laverne and Sonny from L.A. hook up, double date nights for the both of them!!
As far as I'm concerned, the series ended right here. The move to California sent the show on a steep downhill slide.
R.I.P To Penny Marshall. 😢 "How I long for yesterday"
They should have stayed in Milwaukee.
RIP Penny and David. We miss you a lot.
We sure do!
This should of been the ending of the show. RIP to Penny, Cindy Eddie and David.
i remember watching this.years ago.goose-bumps.Thank-you.
They never should have left Milwaukee... really went down the tubes. 😕
This song is making me cry! All the memories the girls had in this place! :(
So am I crying so sad I love Milwaukee episodes so sad 😭😭😵😵😭😭😭😵😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I agree. The show ended right there. When they moved to California, the show was not that good.
If they get to Season 6 on DVD, bet you the song doesn't make it in...
laverne and shirley wasn't the same when they moved to cailfornia it wasn't the 50 setting i think that is what made people from continue watching it and it was finally cancelled

Actually, it was the other way around. They wanted them to move to NY, but PM suggested CA.
Garry Marshall, than realized He didn't ran out of Ideas for the Milwaukee Episodes

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read! You actually moved to a state because of a television program? 😬
ElJefeNLA hate that Shirley married someone else. She should’ve married Carmine.
Definitely. Shirley should marry Carmine. After all, this is the Big Ragoo and his Angel Face - they're perfect for each other!
I liked all of the seasons but the older ones are very relatable to me as a Wisconsinite
@@ginasellers3207 I agree🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you Gary and Penny Marshall. Thank you for yesterday. 😢🍷✌
This scene always made me a little misty....
what was the difference between the Milwaukee and California episodes??
This is when Laverne and Shirley jump the shark.
The Big Ragoo and his Angel Face - one of pop culture 's hottest couples! They are so much in love with each other. I wish they could get married because they definitely belong together ❤. Every couple should be like these lovebirds!!
What was the name of the song playing in the montage? It was pretty good.
Which episode was the clip with the bear from?
I do love the Bardwell Caper episode in season 6 and the moment Laverne and Lenny sang The Look. Besides that yes the show ended right here for me too.
I also agree. When they moved to California, and I live in California, the show sucked..
Was Fonzie in this episode? If he wasn`t, he should had to bid the girls a proper farewell.
No he wasn't.
"Yesterday" by The Beatles, the song is cut from the DVD, Apple records probably wanted too much money or they didn't want to renew the contract and they lost the rights to the song. Now it's replaced by random instrumental ballad music.
They would see Henry Winkler in the studio parking lot and the cast of Happy days.
silly question but, who is performing this version of Yesterday...? This is what got me to get the Beatles' 20 Greatest Hits album from 82 or so.
Laverne and Shirley " Jump the Shark".
What a strange sad and funny memory!
Probably Ono that held up copyrights to the original song.
A lot of the culturally significant shows that thrived in the gritty 70's felt weird and alien once they tried to shoehorn them into a more vapid, cocaine-clean 80's culture. Just had a different, empty feeling to me.
Then they got to California and the cast got smaller..then the show eventually fizzled out!
Or Stay in Milwaukee so that it can have Seasons 1 - 12, 260 Episodes for The Girls to be The only Characters to Appear in all the Episodes as Main Characters.
Fonzie Never appear on the show when the set was in California.
Rip 😢to penny Marshall
And cindy williams.
I am g oing
To miss yous.
Thank you for making me
Laugh.
And this is when the show jumped the shark.
I really felt this should’ve been the series finale right there, looking back in retrospect.
I always heard the show lost something moving to california. And when Shirley left they should have ended the series.
They're better and younger.......the chemistry faded in the Cali episodes.....and you could see that they hated each other (in real life).
They never hated each other.
@santaburger57 yeah...
You can hear Penny Marshall's voice break at 2:14
@GeorgiaKev yeah.... i guess the episodes wer ok, untill shirley left, after tht i hated them!
your right I own all 8 seasons and its not included just instrumental song is
Probably copyright reasons I noticed this on my DVD.
They need to Release Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley. and Mork & Mindy on Blu-Ray
Because it brings back memories of a more innocent time in my life. I didn't hate Laverne & Shirley (and I still love its theme song), but I felt other sit-coms like Happy Days, Good Times, and Sanford and Son were better.
Matthew. T. McDermott. To be continued next week and next episode
Should have been ended now. The end

😆 carmine moves to California to be with Shirley and she dumps him anyways and married someone else!
