      Exactly 🤍. Even if/when no one speaks about it anymore, please never get tired. You have awakened a wave of women who are soft and free, especially black women.
      We grew up wanting to be hard, independent, strong and everything a man is. While some of these traits we won't bury completely, like independence, but we know now to be independent but also be receptive to receiving help and that it's okay to not do everything alone.
      I have blossomed so much such that I speak about Femininity to every woman who I feel needs to hear about it. It has really changed my life as a young black woman.
      I have come home to my true self.

    God has been calling me lately to really do the work to release the Abandonment I experienced in my Childhood & Teenager years. It has been a huge baggage on myself & my Femininity. I already feel lighter that I am done being delusional & finally accepting it now!! Gosh this wound is AWFUL. May God continue to bless us on our journeys & thank you so much Michelle, I appreciate you. God bless you! ✨🕊🤍🙏🏾

    Right now I’m trying to overcome my biggest fear which is dating. Due to the way I was brought up and all my childhood baggage I used to always feel guilty when someone (especially men) would offer me help or something material for free. I thought I didn’t deserve it and wanted to pay back immediately. As you can imagine that caused a lot of tension and anxiety in me. Many people would tell me I am very feminine but something in my psychological state really impedes this femininity to shine. I’m 24 and after a 1,5 year therapy I’m finally ready to start dating even though I still cry when I imagine it😂

    • @danilaroche1156
      @danilaroche1156 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I'd encourage you NOT to date. It's not even biblical. Men in those days courted a woman. Got to know her with the intention to marry. Things weren't so casual. Even in my mother's day. Dating leaves you at risk for premarital sex which will lead to heartbreak. Most modern men just want sex or a conquest. FR. If you love Christ, leave the desire for commitment & love in God's capable hands. Just be friends with men. Men with a good character. I believe the Lord will bring a great spouse to you in due season.

    • @drmichelledaf
      @drmichelledaf  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It's wonderful that you faced this fear and got the assistance of a therapist. It sounds like dating is still overwhelming for you. I would practice this skill with male friends, male co workers and male family members before making yourself available for something romantic. What you feel about receiving is actually a very common feeling amongst most women. But over time with prayer you will notice a change. Thank you for watching love 🤍✨

    you don’t realize how it affects you 😭 I had a dream about someone I dated in the past that I consciously feel I am over but in the dream he was rejecting me and I was telling my mom I didn’t care and my mom was upset with him for using me - it was such an icky feeling. I woke up feeling so odd because it’s an old relationship that I decided to leave but I guess the emotions are still there subconsciously

      My mother left my brother and I when we were one and two years old. I later found out that her mother died sometime after she was born.
      I am now a grandmother of two beautiful little girls.
      I love them so much.
      I have two children, a handsome son and a beautiful daughter who won Miss Congeniality and is a model she graduated from a Christian college.
      I’m so proud of both of them .
      just like you said in the video, I picked the wrong guy and got pregnant and became a single mother with her.
      let me tell you they both know nothing but unconditional love ❤️ they were both spoiled much!😮
      I just regret, not having these kinds of talks or relationships with my grandparents who raised me.
      My grandfather, my mother's dad was a wonderful minister and pastor he talked about the love of Jesus Christ. Saved and baptized many he was So beloved they he Had three funerals... In different states, But Jesus loved him so much that he died in the pulpit in front of the whole congregation. On a communion Sunday which everyone will never forget.
      I was young, and it was very traumatic and shocking for me to see how everyone experienced that.
      As grew older, I figured God loved him so much that he took him straight from the pulpit to heaven instantly of a heart attack.
      I was mad at God however as I got older, I understood how much God loved him more and he took him Home. So thank you for your videos.
      They are more impactful than you will ever know.😊 may God continue to bless and use you to heal others like 💕 myself

    And they also show you they don’t love you just as much

      In some cases this could be a sign of emotional abuse. Parents who suffer with substance abuse, narcissism or mental illness are usually prone to this behavior. This can cause many different issues in a child. Especially lack of trust in others and low self esteem. I recommend speaking to a licensed therapist to help you understand your unique situation 🤍

      A therapist will adjust their method to the patient. If people want their beliefs incorporated then they will seek a therapist who can meet that need. Be advised many therapists use Buddhist rooted therapy methods without explicitly saying so, so just make sure you ask all of the questions before beginning with someone.
