Everybody saying Camry is just because it’s new and has a little bit more horsepower. He literally explained how much better this Sonata is all around.
You forgot the word "reliability" I believe. Hyundai Sonata is such a great feature-driven car. I'm in the market right now and already reserved the fully loaded Camry. Going with Sonata is also an option for me. But given a lower reliability level, I'm kind of hesitant to take the risk :( Not gonna lie, the extra tech in Sonata is so so sexy
Road noice is a little more on the Sonata but the suspension is smoother. The interior materials are softer in Hyundai and both drive similar. I would go for the Hyundai because of the smaller wheels, overall suspension and it looks sporty where the new Camry is an awesome vehicle but it’s more of a family sedan. Just because I have a family doesn’t mean I can not have a sporty sedan 😁
@@HawkeyeRides No I totally understand I just did not see you clarifying on that it seemed you were comparing the standard features on the Limited sonata versus the SE Camry versus stating XLE standard which is much more than SE before any options
@jonathanratliff4780 I did state the features of all trims but next time I will try to be more clear. Both vehicles can be hard to review as they are not all in stock but when they are I will have more up 👍
Should’ve waited until an XLE Camry was available before you did this review. Either way Camry is the winner. Both the Camry XSE and XLE offer the 360 camera. The heated steering wheel, 12.3 inch screen, 12.3 digital gauge cluster are all standard on X trims. Remote start is free for the first 10 years of ownership in the Camry.
@thomaskim5008 got a 2016 Hyundai Tucson at 60k Miles, It's currently at 139k and still running very solid! No problems at all. Only had yo replace the AC Compressor that's it. 💯
Hyundai new hundred thousand mile warranty have me in consideration for one if you’re willing to put that type of warranty behind your brand shows me they must’ve put some serious work behind their cars to begin to think to say they wanted to stand behind that!
@@HawkeyeRides overall hyundai sonata is better than toyota camry .I own 23 camry trd but transmission went out at 12k miles.. toyota is not what it used to be...I am gonna trade camry for 24 sonata

Both great vehicles but better value with Hyundai

Hi isn't comparing similar trims though, so don't be fooled.
I like the Camry white with the black rims Anthony. Thanks for the. comparison. Jeffrey E.
This color combo is the way I would go for an se. Your welcome Jeffrey
which one will you pick in terms of driving feel, easier to drive, suspension, comfort, quietness, pothole feel?

Toyota will last longer. So, if you want to drive 200k or more, go with Toyota. If you want to drive 100k or less, go with Hyundai
@@HawkeyeRidesHave you driven the LE or the XLE? How does the suspension of those compare to the Sonata?
@@voiceofreason314 yes I drove all models (Camry/Sonata) and le is the best for the Camry but the Sonata overall is better
@thomaskim5008 I'm currently at 139k on a Hyundai Tucson. Purchased pre-owned with 60k Miles on it. J/S lol 😆
Sonata does look nice, but I like my car to last.
For 5 years you don’t have to worry with Hyundai warranty 😁👍
@HawkeyeRides not exactly true. Don't want to have to use the warranty. Local Hyundai regularly runs out of loaners for warranty work. PITA
@@HawkeyeRides What about resale value? Will the Toyota hold it better than the Sonata ?
@ the Sonata is less in msrp so even if the Camry has better resale value it will be close to a wash because Hyundai is less in price.
I had a 2020 Hyundai limited hybrid I would so get this car again if needed a car this size.
They are awesome
@@HawkeyeRides "awesome"
Not after driving 8 years
A Limited sonata direct comparison trim is an XLe Camry.
Yes but when its not available you go with what you have. I explained full details but I guess you can't make everyone happy.

I will take the Camry over the Sonata anytime. 😮
They are both great vehicles 👍
EVERY time.
I like both.
Camry all day no one should compare toyota to any car
No vehicle is perfect and this shows options as a non bias reviewer
Stay away from the brand that has short lifespans
They are not everyones cup of tea 😃

Unfortunately dealerships sell vehicles fast so sometime I have to work with what is available.
360 camera is not standard on any of toyota Trims' period. You have to pay extra to add it.
@@techten1012 did you read my comment? I said XSEs and XLEs OFFER the 360 camera.. Never said it was standard
All those features are available on the sonata 😂
Camry for me please.
They are nice
I go with the sonata hybrid limited that has more advanced features and technology over the boring camry
Hyundai gives a lot of value
AND you'd get to pay for that choice down the road. They are not equal.
Toyota might be boring but lasts longer. Hyundai might be fun to drive but will not last long.
