Great first bike!
I got a 2017 R3 as my first bike, used with 1k miles on it at the end of 2019. Its the best purchase I have possibly ever made. The R3 has been a fantastic bike to learn on. I am definitely wanting to upgrade, but the price of the bike and the insurance cannot be beat. A Yamaha Mt 10 would be what I would upgrade to, but the insurance from the company I have now is $160/ month. My R3 costs me $25 a month to insure. I am trying as hard as I can I keep the R3 forever. Cheers.

im using FZS (149CC) and want MT 03 is as my second bike - in my country roads are not as much good to ride higher CC bikes so i cant use thier full potential... so MT 03 ❣️❣️

Without an ECU flash with a full exhaust around 4.5L per 100km. With a full exhaust, air filter and ECU flash rippin hard I’m doing 5.8L per 100km. Thanks!

Yeah, I used this one that day but usually only use the one in the description. This is an 20+ year old motorcycle jacket from a brand called Sinisalo.

I really wanted to see the timing of your clutch before cornering but it always got cropped out. My brain tells me to dump it while cornering while my body knows i need to let go.
Watch all my other videos! Maybe you could see me clutch before a corner and see if it helps!

Any bike tip for *beginner AND short rider?*
im 5’3 at 53kg :p and already have hard time finding a short enough bike for me and i think r3 or mt 03 will be best suitable at my height. also thinking about the weight.
As a short person and beginner i thought about short bikes like hardly Davidson (not that i’d buy it) like “mmm if i was on a bike like a *honda cmx500 rebel* would it be easier for me to ride/control the bike since my foot will be flat? Compared to a sport bike where im tiptoe on both feet, unless i lean to one side like my left foot and flat foot that 🤣” mind you i dont really have a problem with small or big cc my only problem is the weight of the bike, to balance/keep upright when coming to a stop or slow movement. since i cant flat foot. BUT ofc im not gonna be overconfident and get a Litre bike or a bike too heavy/big for me. as much as i like bikes i’ll be cautious and go with a safer one for me to handle.
that was just a thought please advise me if you know anything helpful im *NEW TO RIDING* i dont know anything about bikes only learning everything now.
BIKE I OWN:
2020 suzuki gsx 150 its a second hand one with cosmetic damage which I didn’t mind as i wanted a bike that i could (possibly drop/fall off) and not be too worried about because of the price i paid for and keep learning to ride on the road lol.
How i got to riding and experience:
I’ve always loved motorcycle as a kid but never had the chance to experience anything of it. Even though ive always wanted to own one i never met anyone who had a bike that i could ask them things about the bike or to take me for a ride and give me a experience to decide if or what bike i should get.
until recently/ late last year a group of our friends went to “a place” for my brothers bd and the place had a nice big open beach where people ride bikes or learn how to drive a car haha and i got to ride someones dirtbike idk it was like 125cc? im not familiar with bikes ok. i did how ever watch youtube on how to ride a bike from moto vloggers. i learnt mine from *Snewj* way back in 2017/18 on his white ducati cant remember.
sooo.. after that experience on the dirtbike I decided mmm staying upright on the bike is hard cause im short but riding it is not that hard. and decided to buy a street legal bike so i can practice more. i live in NZ so i don’t actually know any open area/car park to go practice daily so i just do like 2 laps around my street 1 or 2 times a week 🤣

Hey! The MT-03 is a good bike for you to have after your bike. It’s light and easy to handle. If you have an issue with reaching the ground on the MT-03 or R3 you can lower the bike on the front and back suspension, until it’s perfect for you!
@@AXRIDER thanks a lot bro, i’ll most likely be getting the mt-03 but will have a look personally first as well as the r3. i do prefer the upright sitting style, looks more comfy. and KEEP THE CIDS COMING! they’re great n your “best protection for ur bike” is very helpful 😃

The bikes are both the same, same engine. If you like both it’s down to personal preference regarding comfort. If you can test drive both, that’s what I did and preferes the MT.
do u think this bike is fun enough to go from an xsr900 down to it? i want to enjoy the acceleration, not just blink and eye and be at 100mph if that makes sense. is the pull pretty decent yet?
Hey! Thanks for the comment. When coming from the 900 you will of course notice the lack of power compared to your xsr. But if your looking into a bike for cornering, commuting and having fun then the 300cc I would say is in a pretty good position at the moment. Super light weight, agile and fun to ride. If you can try to test drive one at a dealership.
Regarding the speed, yes it can easily go to 100mph. The acceleration is great on this bike, especially when its modded correctly.

Cutting inside corner into the other lane is a great way to die my buddy got hit head on doing that....you can ride fast and still be smart

I just purchased the 2023 MT-03 the official web site said top speed 108 mph. I see here showing well over 110. Im still breaking it in. Can someone please get the actual top speed. Thanks.
The bike stock should do around 108mph. This bike is very modded, can reach max speed of 125mph.
