The running joke of continually getting Isaac Clarke's name wrong gets me every time
Its pretty awesome that his style hasn’t changed for 11+ years.
The visual package does not matter if it is good enough to serve its purpose of presenting the contents inside. Altho that means there needs to be good and meaningful contents to present.
And because stylised visuals age gracefully.
Come to think of it, i wish other creators regarded this as true. Publishers, rather.

And I thought *before* that you had too much time. It still amazes me how you can manage to do so much work at the same time, yet consistently manage to meet deadlines. I don't know how you do it, but I'm jealous.

1:07:07 they edited it! They changed it from "reanacting the columbine massacre on a government soldier's face" to just "reanacting the massacre on a government soldier's face"
There are a few jokes like that that get edited out.

It is hard to believe that Yahtzee was ten years younger when he made these vids. To me he's always been exactly the same. Same humour, same cynicism, same voice (provided sound quality is up to par).

Ah, back in 2010, when suggesting Keanu Reaves would play a character was an insult rather than a nice bloody steak to be thrown to the rabid hordes of fanboys and fangirls and send them into a frenzy. The John Wick series did a lot to change the general perspective on him.

I rewatched this over several viewings and Yatzhee is as delightful as the enjoyment I gain from knowing he knows about 1/3rd of what he's talking about, at least 50% of the time. So 1/6 of what he's talking about, but his voice and cadence are so musical as to lull me into listening anyway.

Zero Punctuation in 2010 was very dead pan. When he showed emotion it felt more impactful. Nowadays, he gives impact everytime he breathes.

Ah, the memories.
They cut the joke off of the “most grossly mishandled and offensive application of intellectual property” before it got to the punchline: “The Schindler’s List easy bake oven.” during the Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 review.
Its also weird that they left the set up for the joke in the clips at the end, with the punchline being cutout, rather than just cutting out the entire clip.

From what I can tell, they've censored the music in the New Vegas review (understandable, probably some copyright nonsense) and the Schindler's List EZ Bake Oven joke from the Force Unleashed 2 review.

I hope they didn't censor this collection like they did with the 2008 one.

Byron the best 1:07:13 is the first i noticed, they’ve attempted to remove a reference to the columbine massacre but done it very poorly.
They’ve done this in the other compilations too.
Really if you want a Zero Punctuation compilation use the ones Fellman created that other people have reuploaded
I plan on doing that, I'm just here to see how they censor it to have a proper reason to stay with the anti censorship people, just because something is censored as long as it doesn't ruin anything it can be ok, but more often than not, the how is more jarring and irritating than any why could ever be.
Censorship is still the wrong word to use and it annoys me. Censorship is a state banning/prohibiting speech in a Public space.
TH-cam is not a public space or a state authority despite how it may seem, and everything here happens with google’s blessing. Nor are they prohibiting or even pressuring the Escapist to do any editing, as far as it seems.
Whine about incompleteness and I might think about it, but you can still bingewatch the archives if you really want to.

This is kinda an odd question, but i'd love to know what Yahtzee's ideas are on the best way to implement roleplaying in a mostly linear game, WITHOUT relying on a half-baked moral choice system. Totally not asking for my own writing benefit or anything....
I find myself wondering about a few glaring edits where part is just cut out without any indication - the audio just jumps ahead.
I never remember to note which reviews they are so I can try to figure out what was cut.

Is this point really worth taking? I mean at best we can say that... maybe you're right? After all, the bible doesn't name any of them except Death. The moniker 'conquest' comes from a passage (I've leeched this from wiki, so apologies to anyone whose bible it doesn't match): "I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest."
By the same metric you could equally call him the archer couldn't you?
In ancient times the preferred interpretation was 'conquest', but more modern people prefer 'pestilence' - wiki claims this is because some interpretations of the bible mention the riders having power over 'plague' and they wanted to attribute that capacity to someone. Who knows what his correct name is, eh?

I know for a fact I have fallen asleep to every single one of these compilations hundreds of times, without hyperbole, so I wonder if they added very quiet subliminal messages to the new 2022 one, if I’d have a pavilion response to shoplifting or whatever the little voice in the background says. I guess if I hear the word cuntburlap and go kill crazy, we will all know what happened
