Is this point really worth taking? I mean at best we can say that... maybe you're right? After all, the bible doesn't name any of them except Death. The moniker 'conquest' comes from a passage (I've leeched this from wiki, so apologies to anyone whose bible it doesn't match): "I looked, and there before me was a white horse! In ancient times the preferred interpretation was 'conquest', but more modern people prefer 'pestilence' - wiki claims this is because some interpretations of the bible mention the riders having power over 'plague' and they wanted to attribute that capacity to someone. Who knows what his correct name is, eh?

Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest."
By the same metric you could equally call him the archer couldn't you?
In ancient times the preferred interpretation was 'conquest', but more modern people prefer 'pestilence' - wiki claims this is because some interpretations of the bible mention the riders having power over 'plague' and they wanted to attribute that capacity to someone. Who knows what his correct name is, eh?
@@egamruf its Jim... My dad works in heaven and he told me.
@@TheReZisTLust Oh sweet! Direct connection! There we are then; proof positive.
On GOD I always forget that yahtzee never finished the tutorial on MH3
Man, that Mass Effect 2 review did NOT age well... I mean, the game itself aged splendidly, but the tangent about Bioware's integrity as a developer... feelsbadman.
I dunno why i keep waiting for a pause to stop the video and go live life for a bit, THERE IS NO PAUSE!
It's weird that they edit out jokes and credits but not repeated mentions of books.
I think it’s because the jokes are seen as “to offensive” or something.
they cut out the line "The most grossly offensive and mishandled application of intellectual property since The Schindler's list easy-bake oven." from star wars force unleashed 2
2:20:00 That's probably the most diabolical thing I ever heard it...
So "His Majesty's Dragon" by Naomi Novik is a book series about the Napoleonic Wars fought on the backs of dragons...if anyone is interested.
18:18 I wonder if anyone got Crimson Skies to work on modern systems, never worked on even my PC from 2004 with a slightly newer graphics card in.

its almost 2022 and i don't think much has changed from here.
holy shit this was a good year for gaming
you know, Yahtzees cynicism for both the gaming industry and the future in general is really eye opening when his statements more often than no presented as jokes, actually end up being almost prophetic in tone when watched today
The fact that a decent portion of his sarcastic quips becomes true is worrying
@@grimreefer9324 "I know people will tell me I'm just a misery-guts who expects too much of everything, but fuck you! You know where we end up if we all stop expecting much?"
I assume he predicts things the same way The Simpsons did: go for the most ridiculous joke you can think of and watch reality twist itself in front of your eyes.
"What the fuck is Pestilence going to do, cough on people?!"
Meanwhile, in 2020...
16:29 - Yahtzee is a chocolate bar confirmed.
Very glad you’re uploading these but, stop editing out jokes.
i know this is loud and sweary but i fell asleep listening to this
As a second-generation thalidomide baby I'm impressed Yahtzee knows what that means
Second generation eh??? So only 3 extra limbs I assume?
Damn dude get well soon 🙏
@@revfunk8823 No lie, Mom went into labor with me at 4.5 months. They had to keep her contractions suppressed until they thought I could survive, and when I was finally born (still like a month early), I was so small that she had to swaddle me in a beanie cap! Had a healthy life after that until 2012, when we found out I was born with the lupus gene, it had just been dormant until the college stress got at it. It's manageable, and I get by, just ignore the absolutely ridiculous number of meds I'm taking lmao. I'm a tough binch tho!
