He blew up on Vine several years ago and has since brought his uncomfortable videos to TikTok. His page is covered with videos of him talking to children as if he's their friend and "safe space." When I was a small child I went to a Catholic school and there was a priest. He was always with the children, especially little boys, everyone loved him, he tried to be the favorite of all children and relate to them. Fast forward a few years, he is now a fugitive hiding out in another country because of pedophilia. He preyed on children with bad family situation and poor background who he knew that needed a best friend and some stability. He also knew that these children could not turn or talk to family. He became friends with them, then asked them to hang out and then molested and raped them. He was adored by the community since he was thought to be a good person, he was always in summer camps for poor and troubled children. This person has the exacts same vibe, and same speach style like the priest…
My husband and I chaperoned a church youth retreat awhile back. Before we did so, we were required to take a course in recognizing grooming tactics in adults so as to be able to protect the kids at the retreat. Jeffery Marsh *embodies* _ALL_ of those tactics. To any parent out there who thought there was nothing wrong with him or another grown adult like him...shut it down. *_IMMEDIATELY._* If that means parental controls on their devices, taking their phones/tablets, _whatever,_ get it done _yesterday._

As a therapist, I find it hard to swallow that people with no studies or qualifications are now coaches writing books. We go through years of thorough work and studies to work with mental health issues, but today, anyone can be anything by being on tiktok.

Look at what’s just happened to Riley Gaines. Punched by a man in a dress and was forced to hide for 3 hours from and angry mob. See the “Let Women Speak” rally in New Zealand. It quickly became a mob. The lead organizer, Kelly Jay Keene, had tomato juice thrown on her head and was almost trampled by a mob of TRAs. A man also punched an elderly woman in the face at that event. These people are becoming violent, and they’re becoming emboldened by not only not being condemned or punished but by actually being PRAISED by major establishments for their “standing up to hate speech.” She has every reason to be afraid because we’re starting to see violence from these people more and more.

I am a victim of childhood molestation. I know from my experience that my uncle who sexually molested, was once my friend and created a safe space for me by playing kids card games (i.e. Old-Maid, Crazy-Eights, and Hearts.) Now, I have learned self-love and self-respect. Today, I can accept myself as I am and continue to make progress in my recover. By the way I am Hondureña. In my family it is difficult to talk about such morbid events. I don't know if silence is prevalent in Latin American families.

This man got me worrying so much for my little nieces and cousins. I remember sitting next to my little cousin in a restaurant, you know, eating as one does, and all of a sudden one of these man's videos pops up on my cousins "for you" tik tok page. I swear, I never acted in such a fast way as I did in that instance. I remember my aunt asking me what was wrong and even my cousin was so confused as to why I ripped the ipad out of her hands. I remember telling my aunt to come talk to me outside the place. Very seriously I informed her on who this man was and what disturbing information he has been spreading and directing towards kids, and, for the fifth time, told her to ban tik tok from her kids. There's so much toxicity, missinformation, drama, fights etc on that platform, its a blackhole that once you get sucked in it doesn't let you out. Till this day, my cousins only use TH-cam Kids under parent supervision and not once have they gone back to tik tok.

I just watched a clip of a teacher hugging each of his teenaged students, and telling them that he loved them, as they left his classroom. Some of the boys turned away or otherwise indicated with their body language that they didn't want to be hugged, but EVERY COMMENT on that video was about how heartwarming it was, and I couldn't believe that I was the ONLY ONE that saw red flags. The teacher is probably totally innocent, but he WAS exhibiting some key grooming behaviors, and nobody picked up on it.

The difference between "grooming" and showing genuine affection is in the mind and intentions of the adult. A lot of what they do involves lying and pretending, so it's not easy to tell the difference between an honest, caring, and trustworthy person and a dangerous pervert. That casts doubt on all teachers, even though most of them are innocent. Pretending that child abuse doesn't happen only puts more kids at risk.

My biggest fear as a gay man who has MASSIVELY distanced themselves from the LGBT community is that while I go on living my life with my partner, people are going to just assume I’m lumped in with people like that.

This is literally the first time I seen this comment on being bundled together. I too live a general life with my partner. We chose to have a civil partnership over gay marriage. That’s our choice. We wanted equality in the same way as hetro couples in being legally bound. We have that. We have mates on both sides of the fence, sexually. As with some family also. We do NOT need nor want to be part of a long list of letters. We have heterosexuality and then any form of ambiguity gets yet another letter on the list! We are not confused, are not persecuted, lead general and fulfilled lives and just want to get on with that. We don’t attend marches or events but are openly gay. But absolutely not an in your face way! Therefore, I will be the one to decide if I’m a member of the LGBTQI+(blah, blah, blah) group. There was once something called LGB. They fought for what the gay community now have. Over decades. But they are now the very folk who want to distance themselves from the confused, angry and now dangerous group members mentioned! A queer was, if I remember, a word which was offensive to some. Now it’s a badge of honour! The very word epitomises the meaning ‘strange’. This person we discuss here in the video is one of the most strange human being I’ve seen. And that’s very worrying how far the pendulum of ‘acceptance’ has swung! He is literally grooming his audience. People like him attach themselves to a larger community as safety in numbers. Not in my name! He needs to be stopped, spoken to and his devices checked!

I'm a bit late to this party but I just wanted to share my opinion on people like this, one thing I have noticed over and over again is the fact that all they want to do is tear the family unit apart, and turning children against their parents. That is what they are striving for and it is terrifiying

My cringy creep radar is in overload. It’s not just his appearance, his voice, his actions that creeps me out the crazy words spewing out of his mouth would make me run away as far as possible. He’s trying to replace the young people’s parents so that he can control what they see, saw and believe.
As a teacher, I find it more than disturbing that this individual has access through social media to my students. His communication, his vocabulary and his behaviour is totally in line with what we teach children to look out for when speaking to adults.
It's only a matter of time before some uncomfortable truth comes out about this individual.
