    I had my best friends children while he and his wife went on vacation. They have a son (10) and a daughter who was 12. The second day they were gone, I started seeing bloody tissues in the garbage. Concerned, I asked where they came from and found out that this poor kid was in the middle of her first period. She was crazy embarrassed, didn't even want to call her mother. Talking about it was just to uncomfortable. I took her to the store, she didn't want to get out of the car and I went inside and we did it over the phone. After it was all said and done she cried and insisted on baking cookies. Watching her deal with what all women have to experience, was an eye opener. since then I've always had a huge appreciation for this event that God saw fit to spare me. The girl in question still tells the story to this day, even included me in her wedding speech, that fact made me realize even more, just how much that event shapes a woman's life.

      Bless your heart for showing up in an uncomfortable situation and being an amazing dad. I have severe endometriosis (a female reproductive system disease) that has caused me serious grief, agony, depression, healgh complications, and required 4 major operations. My dad was the most supportive person to me, even though my mom was aware of my disease but did nothing but judge me. Dad took me to all my surgeries, spoke with the surgeons afterwards while i was hospitalized, and I witnessed him cry on a few occasions because this disease has caused so much trauma in my life. He has never been afraid to listen to my stories (even though im sure its a bit uncomforable to talk about such female issues), he's purchased those girly things for me over the years I spent hemorrhaging because the doctors could not fix my bleeding issue.... it was like a period on steroids- I became severely anemic as a result and needed a lot of support. Dads like mine- and like you- are gems and deserve to be celebrated. While it may seem to you like a small favor you did for your daughter, I can guarantee she was grateful beyond words. I'm so glad I ran across your channel. I was someone who was very simple about the trans issue. Someone was born with male/ female organs, but their minds are telling them it isnt right. Gender dysphoria. I personally didnt even care when a trans person would be in the bathroom with me (my own personal feeling). Now being older and watching your content, there is a huge difference in how transmen are transitioning compared to transwomen. Transwomen have, up until a certain point, only viewed women as "girls" and once they started to fulfill being their "true selves" they only had their male gaze pov of what it means to be a woman. Now they're just feeding into female stereotypes because thats all they know. Wearing dresses, getting nails did, obsessing over shoes and purses, talking extra "girly"... its ridiculous. Its so demeaning. They have the audacity of doing this and then still have the balls (heh) to be a victim when women say, Hey this is offensive. I had hoped this trans movement would dissolve the "gender bias" but they're just reinforcing it.
    Women have fought long and hard to get where we are today and now it's just like men are trying to take womanhood away from us, now from the inside.

    • @heroawesome8495
      @heroawesome8495 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well said. At the risk of sounding like a feminist, women fought way too hard and way too long to get to a point where we could be considered equal in the legal system. All these people who have grown up as boys are trying to act like women, but only the "fun" parts. They don't have to deal with the shame and mockery that comes with natural biological functions like periods. They also don't have to deal with hypersexualization from a young age like young women do. They don't have to deal with lots of things because they were born as boys and treated as such before they transitioned. A lot of these trans women influencers see womanhood as parties , hooking up, and frilly dresses because they only know the male gaze version of womanhood.

    What you were saying about him acting like a careless, prepubescent idiot was spot on. I'm gay myself and I've met quite a few gay men who think it's "cute" or "funny" to act like that and do things like throwing expensive items, snatching things out of people's hands, or squeezing people way too hard. I don't own or use purses but even I found it really disrespectful the way he just threw the bag that was just gifted to him (by the company itself no less). I know what he's trying to do, he's trying to emulate the caricature of wealthy elitists who toss their Prada and say "trash". That's fine if you want to do that with something you bought yourself but he was gifted that.
    I really hate how so much of the gay community has embraced this elitist, materialistic attitude, and that it's somehow cute to be reckless with expensive items. Grant is the worst stereotypes of gay men rolled into one person. It sucks how most of us are just normal dudes who would never act like that but all it takes is one like him to reinforce the stereotypes and ruin it for the rest of us.

And, for a lot of us, that’s just dealing with our moms. -Mrs. Slade

Also, another thought, if you feel like you’re a woman because you’re feminine, doesn’t that just play into gender stereotypes? Why do you need to be seen as a woman when you could just be yourself without subjecting your body to changes which can be quite detrimental? @@user-lg6ih2gr6f You know what, I ask myself those same questions all the time. I've just come to realize that it's all about making myself happy, which is pretty much the goal of every human being. The sense of joy and bliss I feel being recognized as a woman is indescribable and that is why I want to live my life this way. I know that none of the stuff I do really makes me a woman as in natural born female, because I was still born male. I dont want to try and take anything from biological women by me living life the way I do and as sad as it may be, this is just my plight and I had to deal with it the best way I can which was me transitioning. I feel like alot of trans people don't have my mindset I do but yeah this is just that one part of me that I couldn't escape, I feel like a lot of them transition for the wrong reasons which is why some end up regretting afterwards. I didn't transition just because I felt feminine or anything like that, which I did, but I decided to do this because it made the way I live my life a lot less stressful and happier. This is how I cope with not being born a woman which I'm sure would have prevented most of my problems in my life with myself and my relationships with other people., it just seemed like the only solution with with me having the mindset and desires that I do. That's the best way I can explain it. Hope I helped you understand well at least from my own personal experience.

I’d say not many trans people have your mindset And you might be on to something with people regretting the gender surgery. That’s why people are fighting to keep kids from being able to make such a mistake at such a young age. It’s crazy to me that there are parents that are willing to rush their own children into the whole transitioning thing before the kid even knows who they truly are yet. If transitioning made you a happier person then I’m glad that’s one less person that goes down the dark path of not wanting to be around. Just keeping being yourself! This has opened my eyes in a way about the relationships (friendships) I've had with Trans individuals. Every single one of them has had extremely narcissistic tendencies and traits. It had always been I respect them but if I question their respect towards me I was being trasphobic or an asshole. For example my old friend "H" (Not using real name) would constantly expect everyone to just know she identified as a girl even though by appearance she presented more masculine and physically had not gone any medical transitioning. It was silly/delusional to me that she just expected strangers to know and then later get really angry and upset for literal strangers to not know. Most of the time they would correctly gender her if she said something but would say they were just pittying her. It's frustrating because she had the mentality of victim and that the world should cater to her. My own sibling identified as transgender but was narcissistic before even coming out. I never realized until know how much they used their transness as a point in manipulation until now. They also later came put and said the only reason they came out as Trans was because the guy she liked in high-school was gay but would date trangender men. She did it for selfish reasoning. I don't belive all Trans people are narcissistic by nature because I haven't met them all but based on those I have met I can conclude they will use it to their advantage if they are already narcissistic. These are not the only people I know but these are examples. I've edited this comment because I did not articulate what I really wanted to say before because I was frustrated with "H" for accusing me of so many things just because I said that she can't reasonably get upset if strangers don't gender her correctly with out knowing she's trans because she doesn't present traditionally female.

If I saw his video as a younger girl, I would have felt even more embarrassed of having my cycle because he treated it like it's quirky and a big joke, not something painful women go through every month. Seeing a biological man flaunt tampons around is so gross to me because they will never understand what it's like to have a period and I don't believe for a second they bought them for a friend. As a woman who uses a menstrual cup because it's the most comfortable for my body, I don't appreciate being made fun of by someone who clearly doesn't understand what it's like being a woman. I try my best to be respectful to everyone, including trans people, and many of the ones I've met are wonderful and patient. The fact that he is mocking this is insane. Im a girl in my teenage years and I have had instances where I have fainted bc of how much blood I was losing. It’s not something to laugh or mock it’s actually really disgusting that a grown man would do this type of thing. Anyways Brent I love your vids ❤

      Amen to that! 23 years ago, when I got my first computer, the Left-wingers got on my case for speaking my mind on the LGBT lifestyle. Back then, it was just "LGBT" not "LGBTQ+" like it is now. This was before the Left went off the deep end with their agenda. But I still got my butt kicked just for speaking my mind as a conservative Christian! It made me afraid to say anything about it, because the Left reacted with hatred towards me. Now it's 2023, and I am no longer afraid to offend these people. I'm an American citizen and a conservative Christian, and if my opinion on this God-forbidden lifestyle offends the radical Left, too bad! What they are pushing on society is wrong, and those of us who are against it should not be silent about it!

    I’m completely blind. Now imagine having to deal with your period without sight. Wondering what’s blood and what’s not. Wondering if you’d bled through your pants, or if people are staring. It’s not something to be romanticized. It’s not something we as women look forward to. It’s a hassle, it’s gross, but we deal with it. We deal with it because it is a normal biological process of the female body. Even though I hate it, every time it begins there’s always a slight feeling of relief, because I know that despite the annoyance, my body is doing what it should be. Men who dilute themselves into thinking they’re women will never understand that.

      Wow, I can only begin to imagine how difficult that has to be! I no longer have periods but bleeding through my pants was always my worst fear after seeing it happen to my classmates.....but I had more than my share of close-call moments where I was totally unaware of the leak until I saw it while in the bathroom. Without the gift of sight, I'd have bled through many times! You are a superwoman!!!!!

    im a teen girl, bro.... my period sucks so badly. i go through super plus tampons like 5-6 times a day and my period lasts 6-8 days. its genuinely so tiring to deal with. im autistic (im professionally diagnosed i swear) so a lot of the time i just end up crying on the floor cause a lot of sensory issues happens with my period(and i get more emotional ofc) and i get the worst cramps and its just so painful and i hate it so much it genuinely makes me wanna end my life sometimes. and every single time i see a "transgender woman" talk about periods in any way it makes me sick to my stomach because it makes me feel so dehumanized and like my experience with my period is useless and overdramatic. I've met and seen real transsexual women and the real ones understand and respect women enough to be able to just not talk about periods or just compare themselves to real woman. Its mainly the fake "transgender" women that disrespect real women and treat them as "compition" and thats what proves that they are men because they don't have the mind of a woman. They always talk about being a woman trapped in a males body but it seems more so like a male being trapped in a transgender woman. I have a huge respect for real transsexual women (especially Blaire White) for their real respect towards women and being able to stand up to the fakes who disrespect us aswell. I pray for whoever is watching this to have a good day and to respect yourself and respect others 💗

    I work at a Pre-School and afternoon daycare facility, and one of the school-agers (children K-5th) started their period mid-day on what we call carpet time (end of the day when the majority of kids get picked up). It was her first time having one, her mother has talked with her months prior in case of this, but people need to understand how embarrassing it can make a woman feel, even more, so a child. It's not something a person should be ashamed of in the slightest it's a normal human/woman experience and it's not something someone should make fun of or "black face". The child bled through her clothing and it showed imagine the feelings she had when I a male teacher had to pull her away and explain what was going on, luckily no other child noticed, and only one other teacher did as well, but sometimes people should take the time to think how something, even if it's natural, can still make one feel embarrassed, ashamed, and even disgusted with themselves.
    So, sitting there and saying crap like "ew" "what even is this" and "there's no way..." could (and have) make young ladies feel shameful, embarrassed, or even fear a naturally occurring cycle. Especially since his influence reaches so far and so wide.
