Great video, loved it. Appreciate your care for correct writing and pronounciation of all the different things. At 16:30 , just wanted to point out, those dates aren't necessarily of conquered places but of places where the portuguese sailors arrived for the first time. Also, that map was offered to Portugal by South Africa. Hope you guys had a great time in Lisbon and do return, always welcome!
Thank you for the clarification as well regarding the meaning behind the dates. Pretty amazing tourist attraction and thanks for acknowledging my effort in not pronouncing anything incorrectly but if I did, no offense was intentionally made 😀
Bad weather aside, I hope you enjoyed your stay in Taiwan. I was just thinking about the weather this time of year over there lol. I hope you make it out to Portugal as well
You make a very valid point as their pastel was quite good for as well. I thought perhaps reviewing 4 may have been too much in a single video but thanks for the suggestion. Other viewers will see your comment and perhaps pay them a visit as well :)
3:47 - Only less knowledgeable people consider that. Saying that the Pastel de Belém is the original Pastel de Nata is a misconception that has unfortunately been perpetuated on the internet and I'm here exactly to debunk that misconception: what was initially created by the monks of the Jerónimos Monastery and then sold to that bakery in Belém (which used to be a sugar factory before it became a pastry shop, by the way) was the Pastel de Belém. Since it has a secret recipe, the name is trademarked and they're exclusively made and sold there, they can't be replicated by anyone. The pastry that everyone else sells as Pastel de Nata has an unknown origin and creator and the only similarity it has with the Pastel de Belém is how it looks. You can compare between the many Pastéis de Nata but leave the Pastel de Belém out of that comparison because there's nothing to compared it to. 🙂 9:16 - You can't see the seaside from any of Lisbon's viewpoints, what you see is the Tagus River estuary. 😉
Look I’m totally cool with you sharing knowledge and respectfully correcting any inaccuracies in my video. However, if you deleted your original comment and then reposting it again cause other viewers were challenging you in the thread, that’s not cool. Let others have a voice as long as they’re respectful as well
@@fomoyolotravel - Sorry but I had to do it. It's not about being respectful or not, it's about ignorance. I know what I'm dealing with here and I don't like to waste my time with ignorant people.
After all, is a fabulous country, what can i say.

Não é "seaside" é riverside, não é mar mas sim rio Tejo
Yes, honest mistake for using the wrong word in my narrative 👍🏼
