Jack - The bit with the armoured car on crushing difficulty on Lost Legacy is beyond ridiculous.
JAKESY81 that bit was super annoying. But the helicopter towards the end was also pretty terrible
Omega - They detect you from the back of the map. It annoyed the hell out of me. I’ve platinumed all the uncharteds now. Apart from the one that was only released on the PSP.

Hey man, quick story. I started this platinum back in 2015 when I was 14 and I got about half way through before exams came around, then for the next 4 years gcses and A Levels always got in the way of me going back to it. But I watched this video and all the memories just came pouring back, I booted up my ps3 - and promised myself to platinum the entire uncharted series. So I got the complete all treasure in game reward, but I noticed I didn't install a patch for the game and my trophies weren't registed, so I had to play it on Hard, Crushing and get all the collectibles a second time. It was a joy - Im so happy I got complete something ive been putting off for 5 years. You've re ignited my passion for trophy hunting, Thank You!

Yikes, I remember that trophy patch back in the day. I had gotten all the medals and then had to get them again after the patch. Much like you, I didn't mind either. It was a joy.

That is very kind of you to say. Although, I have platinumed games that are easy and some of my favourites like Ratchet and Clank and South Park. Knowing the video will take a long time to put back together, I might as well like the game I spend all that time with.

Uncharted was the 3rd game I got the platinum for. I’ve loved the series ever since. Last November I got the platinum for 1, 2, 3 (Remasters), 4, and Lost Legacy all one after another. It was a blast, and one of my favorite gaming accomplishments. I love that you’ve finally completed the first 4, can’t wait for Platinum Journey Lost Legacy!

Also, small tip: I personally think it's better to speedrun the chapters right after doing them. That way, everything's fresh in your mind and you remember where everything is.
I didn't want to interrupt the flow of the game for myself. Good idea though.

@@AdamMcDermott exactly it was a breath of fresh air. Nate with his sarcasm, Elena with her flirty banter/annoyance and Victor "God Damn" Sulivan with his I dont care attitude. It was a perfect trio. Also I love the Easter eggs in the diary, with Nates drawings of Sully and the smart remarks written next to them
@@thatgamerguy8916 Also came out around the same time AAA games were going for dark and gritty. Gears of War was huge. And then here is Uncharted bright and colourful treasure hunting classical adventure.

The last time I commented on one of your videos, I only had two platinums, now I'm almost on 15 (with uncharted 4 being that 15th) I'm almost done with my crushing play through. I can honestly say that I don't think I would have started to hunt down platinum trophies if it weren't for you. Keep up the great work!

Playing the Uncharted Nathan Drake collection was amazing. I played the trilogy during the pandemic and it definitely help me with entertainment and coping during those times. However I did rage quit at brutal mode a lot of the times.
I decided I'd revisit the series, so I got the remastered trilogy back in January of last year (or the year before, don't remember), and I ended up beating all 3 in a month, and getting the Platinums in the weeks inbetween. It was quite a fun month. Watching this has made me realize that I have forgotten the pain of Crushing difficulty, and instead replaced it with the pain of Brutal difficulty. I can guarantee, beating Brutal is only worth it if you love having bragging rights and trophies that few others have.
But I digress, I enjoyed watching the video, Adam. It was a lot of fun going back and basically reliving my own Platinum Journey. Looking forward to the next video.
Going through all 3 in 1 month sounds fantastic. Jeez, fair play to you for beating brutal. That's beyond me.

this game was my first platinum, I love these games so much I want to get the most out of them
Nothing better than waking up on a Saturday to see you've uploaded a new video, I love the uncharted games I remember the first time I played the first one when I got to that like zombie bit I was so confused with it and wasn't a fan of the going from humans to like monsters but on later playthrough I ended up really liking that bit a lot.
Another great video Adam can't wait to see the next one.
This is exactly why I upload the episodes on Saturdays. Most people are off work, the weekend has started, taking it easier, plenty of time to enjoy a full episode of Platinum Journey.
The zombie bit can be divisive. For some it ruined the game, for others it enhanced it. I personally like the change up. Although they did overplay it by doing it again in 2 and 3.
This was actually my first platinum ever back in 2010. Thank you for another entertaining episode Adam!

I remember playing this myself for the first time. I'd just gotten a PS3 and my first HD TV and man was I impressed. Good times.
The Uncharted games are special to me and offer such great source materiel for editing. Really hoping they make another one.

@@gallantmon4 I don't see the story being much different to crushing. With God Mode, I went from the easiest difficulty to the hardest. So that intrigued me.
Doing Grounded Mode was an excuse to replay The Last of Us again with a new difficulty.
Brutal for Uncharted does not look enjoyable. I think I'll pass for now but may try it in my spare time.

There it is!!! Glad to see it up Adam. The PS4 version is so much better. The color scheme, 60fps, refined mechanics, fun trophies, and very nostalgic. This was actually my first PS3 game tho, so it’ll always have a place in my heart.
The remaster is indeed done very well.

Best of luck with Uncharted. The speedrun isn't too bad. Play on the easiest difficulty and just keep pressing forward.

What i found helpful was the use of photo mode so u can have a quick scan of the environment just to pinpoint where they actually are

oh yay! another Platinum vid, i've watched episodes here and there to fill the void, but glad to see a new one up. All 4 uncharted games done! i would love to do them myself but i for some reason can't get into it. i played the 1st one and beat it, started the 2nd and didnt get past the heist after the train segment. definitely not a bad game or anything just cant get through them myself lol. anyways sorry for the long story, ONTO WATCHING YOU PLAT THE LAST ONE!

I got 1&2 platinums from back in the day on ps3. I still need to complete 3 and 4 as well. I beat myself up because I pre ordered the lost legacy and still to this day I’ve yet to play it. I always said I will once I platinum uncharted 4.

@@ak_knight2719 Yes, but make a new save. If you overwrite your old save, you may not be able to skip ahead to the point in the story you were.

Pretty good series to revisit.
The game was definitely a 9.5/10 for me. If it had less random crimes it would’ve been a solid 10/10. Loved every second of the game. Even went back and 100%ed all dlc. Playing the game on hard with fully upgraded gadgets was really fun.

There is a trick to surviving the "blue room" at the end of Level 5 (The Fortress) on harder difficulties. The enemies do not spawn until you jump down into this room, and you can't jump back up the way you came.
But there is a way to make the enemies spawn before you jump down. Once you make it to the ledge where you can look into the blue room, go back the way you came until you get outside where the mini-gun is. Press triangle to use it and shoot it for 5-10 seconds. This will make the enemies in the blue room spawn, so when you go back they are all running around. You can shoot at them from the (relative) safety of the ledge above, backing up when you need to regain health.
This also leads to a funny moment when the first wave of blue room enemies are defeated. At this point enemies jump down from this very corner. You will see 2 enemies appear on the same ledge area you are at and jump down into the blue room - they do not see you up here until they are on the blue room floor. One of these 2 enemies will even freeze temporarily in this ledge area before they jump down.
Obviously you wouldn't do this when you're doing this level on a speedrun for the trophy, as it takes time to go all the way back to the minigun, and then back to the blue room again.
Haha, that is very cool. I'll try it my next playthrough for fun.
@@AdamMcDermott I can't take credit for it - I saw this on a "Tips and Tricks to completing Uncharted 1" video. That room is hard enough on Normal and Hard mode doing it the normal way (jumping down and fighting everyone there), I can't imagine doing it that way on Crushing (or Brutal) difficulty.
