I've followed Michelle for a long time now, and very little of the information presented here is new to me, but for some reason this episode has really caused me to look at my own routine and reflect that I'm buying and using too many things. I think I ought to follow Michelle's advice and simplify my routines.
It seems to me that her faith that corporations would be careful about not using ingredients that would harm their customers might be misplaced. I’m basing that on personal experience with the Phillips company and their Cpap machines for sleep apnea. They were aware several years before the recall of the machines that there were dangers in the foam used. Also, going back in time, we can look at cigarette companies, for example.
Yep and asbestos in building materials, Chlorofluorocarbon in aircons, mercury used as fillings in peoples teeth. Hard to completely trust chemicals in things are "safe."
So great that you cover that topic. However, I cannot agree to everything Michelle says. Come on, promoting L’Oréal, a company that is suspected to do animal Research.
