I have lived in nirun condo since I arrived in Thailand when I retired for 20 years. It is an older lower-cost condo block what is full of very friendly people many of the people know each other.
Oh!! my street in Pattaya, Nice area with a healthy mix thai and farangs residents , Walking distance to everything, big C extra, central pattaya, 3 road and sukhunvit road too. In my second trip I was there in Shagwell at wombat bar, nice memories. Nice community in Nirum condominium also, most long term residents . thanks for share with us

Not my scene but the guys were awesome to drink beer with.

2:18 a man after my own heart. I used to take the whole bar (A soi 6 bar) to the Tanahan Issan after work 1am till 5am. Great times, no BF, lots of smiles and a taste of the girs's real home but in Pattaya.

There was a heat wave so I did take a moto-taxi many times. btw - Right about ware you ended the video there was a bar a bit further up the side street that had a pool table and the people that were there were pros. in tuxedos whoever went first won the game...!

Motorcycle taxi is the scourge of the industry. They charge same prices as Bolt and automotive taxis, yet have substantially lower overheads. Motorcycle is generally in poor conditions and abuse the road laws . As regards to motorcycle rentals , I am a repeat customer of Swiss Bike rentals who have a proper shop near the corner of Third Rd and South Pattaya Rd. Bikes always in good condition . Definitely not a dodgy operation like most of the ones in Pattaya.

Pattaya could really do with a big tree planting initiative. Good to see established trees planted in the new area 12:00. It’s makes a massive difference. You’d think more Thais would understand that trees = shade and a cooler environment …
thais know already what meaning have a tree, but farang usually didn't. We in the west, cut and cut trees every day because we want good views and sun in our houses.....crazy.

When you arrived at the crossing @13:38 you see that big building with the name MAXX? Behind that, there is another big complex called LK Legends. Just opposite of it, there is the Sunsmile Hotel that is not guest friendly (at least it was not about 7 years ago) and even if i told them that my gf will join me at the check in, when she arrived, they didn't let her in. If you continue straight, you will arrive at the 9ninth Hotel that is probably the most remote hotel in this site of pattaya so really quiet :) Dammit! What memories! At least at that time, Pattaya was still fun but i really shitted my pants that evening/night. I was in Pattaya just with a small luggage at the 9ninth but my big luggage was somewhere in Ratchada in Bangkok (so center / north of Bangkok). My gf and me was at Koh larn that day and when we back in Pattaya, it started to sink in that i will go back home that night. We was taken by lust and because already checked out from the 9ninth, we ended up at the love hotel that is on the "mirror" side of central pattaya road from where you are (yes, the one behind the big C). After i found her a taxi to go home (she wasn't from Pattaya either) i found myself in front of the big C looking for a taxi that would take to the 9ninth, pick my small luggage, go to ratchada, merge the luggages (at the reception of the place) and back to the airport. You are probably wondering where the problem is...right? Well it was 7:30pm when i was standing in front of Big C and my flight was at 00:30am. I got to the plane in time and got back to my country but i never saw that gf anymore :(

Regarding the bolt taxi bikes I was wondering why the official guys in their Orange vests don't seem to use the bolt app. I've used bolt for a taxi bike on numerous occasions in Pattaya and I've never had one of the guys who wear the Orange vests. .

Hey Trevor how are you doing? The thing I don't get is if they're so upset about bolt Taxi why don't they put their TAXI fares the same because when I was there I use Bolt because of the lower fare if they just get it the same same people would probably use the taxi guys more in my opinion
