- Coleman cc100x mini bike gets a Predator 212 swap. Coleman Predator swap. Changed out the Coleman cc100x mini bike 3 horse engine for a modified Predator 212. Did a zero to thirty and top speed run to test the difference the Predator 212 made in Performance?
Engine Modifications include: GX160 head,22 lb springs, Shaft mounted 1:1. ratio rockers, Superman series 265 lift cam, Billet .020 rod, billet flywheel, VM22 Mikuni Carburetor, header pipe.

@@stanlucas665 I know they are pretty expensive. I'm not into racing or getting every tenth of a second out of lap times, so I might just order that trilogy cam head and carb and put one together myself. Maybe. I hear what your saying

I like your idea of using the 79 fuel tank! I had a heck of a time getting a 212 on mine with a CVT. Had to lift the engine 1inch and move it over to the left 1inch. Also I had to trim some off the bottom of the CVT mounting plate, grind off the tensioner bracket and remove some of the bar that the rear fender bracket is welded to. I'm using a shorty header pipe for exhaust because the stock one wouldn't clear the frame.

Thanks! Ya, you can use the stock carb . If you use the stock carb with a modified Predator ,it will run better if you install a jet kit .

@@robbig6688 for the 212cc predator and a mikuni carb you will need a 130 jet. Stock mikuni is a 95 and it will run like crap. Did a 130 on my 212cc today on my go kart and it fired up first pull and then did a little tuning it purrs.
I’m excited man I’m picking up mine tonight cc100 with the 212 this young boy built it and the chain keeps coming off it looks as if he didn’t do somthing right or needs some chain guards I’m not sure till I pick it up but he put sold on it for me so I’m for sure getting it. It starts up good and looks clean. I will deff need some help so hopefully you will be able to answer some questions for me and help.

So I’ve commented on some of your videos with this bike. Trying to build it better from watching your videos. Lemme say they’re the best, and helping me learn. Early I bought a new clutch, to up the sprocket teeth size. I should have just bought the sprocket and changed it over. They manufactured it wrong, and it’s too small. Shaft size is 5/8 so that’s what I ordered. I put it on and it got seized on. No matter what I try I won’t come off or go on. Gonna do this predator swap soon.

I’m planning on doing something similar. The 99 cc is going on my Phatmoto after I modify it. Then I’ll have an extra 79 cc.

Hello. I have a cc100x and it's mostly stock. I saw someone selling a cc100x frame with a predator 301cc on it, claiming it goes 70-75mph. Just wondering if this is possible and if I should try it. Could you try it?

Quick question I am doing the same build as you with the cc100x and preditor but when it comes to back sprocket clutch and chain would I have to change any of that and if I do would you let me know, or dose it just all fix perfectly
You need a 3/4 clutch for the Predator 212

Do you know how fast a stock predator goes with the throttle stop removed?
@@tristan3479 I just tested a stock predator Hemi on a Doodlebug minibike with the governor removed and it did around 40 MPH.
But you can change how fast you want it to go by changing the number of teeth on the clutch.
Never have I ever seen someone solder their own throttle cable end. Please do a short video on how to do that, id love to have that knowledge for future use lol

@@Black66 so I just got my ct200u back on the frame, got it yesterday after watching all your videos I just couldn’t help myself, done the governor delete, swapped carbs to a 26PWK, and put a header pipe on, she’s sittin about 37-40 mph right now on the 196 Coleman, gonna get springs and a flywheel next🤘🏻 won’t miss one of your videos now that I’m hooked lol

I found this carburetor on Amazon if it the CT 100u Coleman minibike Stock engine For people in the comments that haven’t changed there engine yet Plus I put 18 pound Val springs in my 3.0 engine

Hey! I’m building the same bike, however as soon as I start to turn the predator 212 away from “start” the clutch engages. The clutch is rated for 2200 rpm, so it should be fine. Any idea what is wrong? This is the second clutch (the first I assumed was broken so I got it replaced under warranty).
Maybe lube the bushing in the clutch
So what was the point of soldering on that little tip onto the throttle cable because i want to do this swap but don’t trust my soldering skills on having it not get sucked into the carb so I’m wondering if you have anything else that I could do like maybe tie a knot in the cable or something
You can also use a wire feed welder to put an end on the cable . Or just buy the proper length cable for your application. Depending on the bike you have .
Another option I've found works well. Use a small lead fishing. sinker .
I'm thinking of removing the gas tank completely. Replacing with a tank from a motorized bike kit. Any thoughts ???
I have the camo model. Removing that plastic tool box compartment. Going to the 2.0 liter tank. Looks to be about the same size.
I'm trying to put the predator 212cc on a coleman cc100x and it seems the predator shaft is bigger than the coleman, the coleman clutch doesn't fit on the predator shaft
You need a 3/4 shaft clutch for the Predator 212

Gas coming out my carb? Is that normal? Haven’t been able to get a start up!
Make sure you got the gas running into the correct intake, I made a mistake like that, sputtered like crazy and gas just ran thru it. It's the covered port on top for gas.

I'm using a Dragy performance meter for 0 to 30 times, along with the camera GPS and digiHUD on my phone for speed runs.

@@lurkingprofit6643 The Dragy is compatible with the iPhone. I don't think they have Digi HUD for iPhone. When I had my iPhone I used a speedometer app.
Is the clutch you put on the stock one? From original engine?
No I used a different clutch . The 212 has a 3/4 shaft . The Original engine had a 16mm or 5/8 clutch

Hey, me again lol. So my bike is bogging, it can definitely go faster, thinking it’s not getting enough fuel. Set up is predator 212, performance exhaust with muffler, Mikuni carb with air filter, and a 120 jet. Rear sprocket is 65, clutch is 12. Any idea why it’s bogging?
Have you tried moving the needle on the slide up a notch ? You can look at the plug to see how its running overall.
@@Black66 yeah, I have, it just makes the bike wanna go without throttle.
@@JadenCrocker As long as everything is clean and there are no leaks between the manifold and carb and manifold and engine , you can always move the needle up a notch and then go through the adjustment process again. Like in the video .

Started this today I broke my kill switch wire mine getting a flat top 5 horse brig's the plug just screws in between the bars

It will run good . But if you can add a header pipe that will help it out even more .

I'm using a 12 tooth Max-torque clutch on this bike.
What size fuel line do you use ?
The fuel line I use mostly is 1/4" ID / 3/8" OD.

I got a Coleman 100 and it goes at least 35 now with what I have done to it which is not much but going fast on that little thing is sketchy lol. My Coleman 200 is faster and feels a lot more secure haha

What elevation are you at?
About 3400 feet or so. It is awesome you ask that because I have been wanting to do an elevation video to show how much faster the bike would be at lower elevation.
@@Black66 I’m at 7000ft, my bike goes 50mph with a 265 cam and 22 mikuni. I just got a 308 cam and port and polished head with a 24mm mikuni hopefully I can go atleast 65
@@Exclusv That is really good especially with that much elevation. That ported head is nice at that elevation. Maybe it helps it breathe a little better up there. I bet you can get 65 out of it with the right gearing.
