Dear Jeff, do this for me. Take your release hand and press your thumb and pinky finger together really hard. Now try to manipulate your fingers. Hard right? Now relax your thumb and pinky. Easy, eh? "Turn off" your pinky finger when you shoot. Essentially relax your pinky and have it facing towards the ground. Hopefully that'll help with your hinge shooting!
7:15, yeah, punching myself in the face helps me focus too sir. hahaha, thank you I needed that We have all done it once or twice and it appears to be self correcting on the face punching. Keep up the fun videos sir Dale
I really wanna get my hands on the Ibex. The thing I love is that the entire head/post portion of the release moves by itself. Reducing the chance of the anchor point moving. Hats off to Evolution on that design.
I have a Stan Onnex resistance release and a thumb button. It seems like even 5-10 shots with the resistance can seriously improve my groups with the thumb
Great video! I just picked up the UV hinge 2 to pair with my UV thumb button. The hinge has really helped my focus on making a good shot. I'm still really new to it, but even in the short time I haave been working with it, the improvements are noticeable, even when going back to the thumb button.
The Ibex is legit. Loving mine I picked up about a month ago. Shooting one bow with a thumb button and the other with Ibex. I actually figured out that you don’t even need the thumb peg on the Ibex because of how it’s designed differently than most other hinges. It’s good to see Jeff pulling through shots better now🤘🏻
So basically we are telling Mathew’s we need a hybrid hunting bow? Target panic is no joke! Great info always thankful for the guys at elk shape keep up the good work!!!
I neeed to see a Vid from MFJJ on how you can focus on the target and not the pin, while still keeping your bubble level and peep housing money….like in detail walk through, super simple type explanation. This is the only thing that makes my target panic want to come back and bite!!
Shooting DARTS off that Lift, not so much with the Title. Need to do some more tuning with it. Love the slow motion shots! If you're going to hunt with that Ibex, do like MFJJ says and set the click up to be a starting point for the shot process, not to be a part of the process. Be able to draw and hold until you're ready to start the process then roll into the click. That lets you know you're close, then you can start the shot execution from there. I do this but with a Longhorn Pro and it made a world of difference!
Wonder if shortening up Jeff’s DL half inch would help too, since string is coming back to side of the nose, and the fletchings are like at the corner of the mouth, back there a ways…jus thinking out loud not criticizing…either that or just diff anatomy and its fine
Obvisouly it’s a target bow vs a hunting bow so different speeds but what really struck me is how flat that lift shot you really notice on the side by side shots. Not that I’d expect the Title to shoot a flatter arrow but man that Lift shoots darts
I have phase 4 29 and title 36. Both set up the same for hunting. Shoot within 5 fps of each other but the title has silencers on it. It's about as quiet as the phase 4 but the title is so easy to be accurate with. The title is going to be my main bow this year. Already killed to deer with it in late season
Because they make hunting bows for hunting and these guys have more than 1 bow. The Title is for precision shooting and is not as fast as hunting bows. Same reason I do not take my benchrest target rifle into the deer stand. Different tools for different jobs. If you can only have 1 bow though, I would get a 33-35" bow and make it capable of doing okay in tournaments and okay in the field.

I've got the thumb set up in such a way that it can double as a resistance. It's a great release.
videos like these are the most fun thing to watch on youtube

at @5:06 I still see my poormans storm arrow is still there to see lol, another great video as usual.
That young fellas dad’s sure got him a funny hairdo

Watching arrow flight, Dans is so pure. Seeing some wobble on Jeffs. Curious as to the difference in arrow set ups.
Being new on a hinge from a button can change arrow flight especially if the hooks open up in different directions.
Great video. What release trainer is that?
Got a target bow this year too. It’s already made me a much better shot with my hunting bow.
I know you have the mic really close to the release but how loud is the click?
Mohawk wisdom 🤘🏼
More videos with Jeff!!??
We need an Ibex discount code bro! 🔥🔥

I would definitely end up with a black eye hunting with that release 😂
A vibrating release........ i guess if it's missing, you could ask the wife if she's seen it.
Dan looked so small when he scooted up to Josh 😭😭
You can punch a hinge just as easily as a thumb . It just will probably end up way worse of a shot
I think he already is to some extent based on a couple of the shots. Im no better though. Appreciate these guys putting their flaws out there.
@@mackstrate6235 yep . I love my hinge but i dump it more than not . Because…. My mind isn’t where it should be …. The process ( not the result)

I heard some good words
Why not rattle can the Title brown and hunt with it?

@@Matt-jl8xf It was a joke. This channel has a history of rattle canning.
@@matthewchown8576 Oh, ok. I did not know they like to spray paint their bows. Was hard to tell that it was just a joke. Take care.
Wish these releases weren’t 300+
Try out an RX 8 and you'll be like dam
