Good to see you getting into a fully rigged target bow. They are more comfortable to shoot than hunting bows IMO and make it more enjoyable when shooting 150-200 arrows/day. I notice most hunters use bcy 24 d loop, which works fine, but I always tell people that shoot target to try out the bcy 23 with spectra coating. Slightly thinner diameter, but insanely durable and lasts 20k+ shots no problem. I also find it more flexible and nimble than the 24. The one downside of it is burning the ends. It does not burn great, but with some practice its not a huge issue. Its worth a try for any target shooters that have only used the 24. The title looks killer. My Trx's still shoot better than I can, but man the Title is tempting. Good luck with it!
I love the in depth explanation about everything with mfjj so many could learn the right ways to do all things archery, if they would just watch his stuff! I’ve learned so much! Keep up the good
Josh, I use the old Square one bow square which screws directly into the insert on the end of my arrow and it mitigates the very thing you mention in using a bow square having a square/non rounded edge. Not sure if they even make them anymore.
Always a great video Dan & MFJJ, I sure enjoy watching you two together. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us. God's Blessings on all of your adventures
This bow looks super interesting. Especially the low weight is very appealing to me. But I love my bowtech reckoning gen 2 36. The ability to tune everything without a press is crucial for me. You owned the bowtech in the past too if I remember correctly. How would you compare these bows and what's the biggest difference?
Your the only other person I know that used that serving. BCY 350, I swear by that stuff.. and it melts awesome. Soft knots never come loose or move. Ever!!
I love it. It’s so cliche at the start though. The joe Rogan podcast in the background…then hunting influencer video. Just a funny depiction of exactly what influencers do. Love the video!
I have a Nexus Prime 34 at 31” draw. Any reason to not get a Title 36 as a hunting bow? I don’t do much treestand or ground blind hunting. What’s the max draw weight for the Title if you twist up the strings? Is that even a good idea?
Welcome to the grip tape gang, run it on all my bows. Dry wet hot cold always feels the same. Looks like such a great setup, and those podium bars are definitely on my list👌
Is there anyway to mail SVA a title 36 with the exact sight and do the exact process and mail it back? I didn't know if you could mail bows with sights on them without damaging them.
Bring pliers into the field. Some multitool pliers do not allow you to spread a d-loop out, because they are only designed to grip, not spread. On the topic of how to make a different sight leveling device, every sight has a round windage knob on the top and regardless of manufacturer they are pretty close in size and have a flat milled top. Perhaps JJ could build something that clamps onto the windage knob? JJ has stocked all those modules, but I wonder if several of them will never sell? I wonder if JJ could give some advice later in the year about what sold and what did not so as to give shops some insight as to what to stock and what to order.
In regards to dloop pliers in the field in a pinch ive used my release to set tension on the replaced dloop. I just put my thumb below the loop and the rest of my hand above then pull as hard as i can bracing the string against my hand and it cinches just fine
Check out Talon grip tape for pistols. Just a thought. 3 different grip textures. You can buy it for a specific pistol but also in a sheet. Just sayin. I have found skate board tape is a bit aggressive.
I am going to stick with my TRX 34 as my 3D bow for now. The Title is just too expensive for me to justify getting one. I do, however, think they should have added the quiver cutouts to the Title 36 riser.
Excellent video!! Thank you. May want to wear a Mathews shirt next time. You have Hoyt on your arm sleeve which was in the shot. Little stuff but important. Again, great video!!
I know the answer for the universal level!! No joke!!! I’m working with a buddy to hopefully solve this. All I’m going to say is there is a commonality in all bow sites.
Amazing idea in theory except sights are all made of aluminum. Read this comment and thought man thats brilliant then pondered it for a second and was like oh wait loll
Carful using a leatherman to tighten a D-loop. I've had to do that once. Dummy me I pulled a little too hard, and since leathermans don't have a groove in them, the pliers slipped out and jabbed them in my chin all the way to the bone. 😂😅😂😅
You asked "why am I doing this"? The opportunity was missed here... We are all archers no matter the style and type that should be united. Welcome to the rabbit hole or target archery as you are well aware of with your hunting set-ups.
Oh come on MFJJ. Archery shop hack, cut a three inch piece of an old arrow and slice it down one side. Then slide it over the flat T-square and wala, the T-square fits on the rest just like your arrow!😀 Nice bow Dan!
"To get rid of all the excuses all the time you give me about loosing" LMAO! That is savage! Great Job Guys!
Josh is such a wealth of knowledge, I could listen to him talk about bows or archery gear all day 😅
That bow is as tall as Dan! 😂
So True.🤣🤣
Rest it on the ground easier to hold on target
This is what I’m talkin about! Super pumped to see more of this on the channel!!

Curious as to why you didn’t choose the title stabilizers? What didn’t you like about them???
The title is an amazing bow, just switched from my Invicta and man the difference in consistency is unbelievable. Absolutely superb machine to shoot.

Love you guys and your videos !! Youve both taught me so much !
Awesome video!! Every time I watch learn something new Plus get a few laughs!!! Thanks

Man… you and every episode is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 but the collabs and with Old doozy and you at the range and MFJJ are the besttt one this year
been using BAP vise for years , glade to see he's finally getting the credit he deserves
Your the only other person I know that used that serving.
BCY 350, I swear by that stuff.. and it melts awesome.

How about rail-specific shoes that can be interchanged on the level?
If you’re ever looking for other arrows to try out. Day 6 make an awesome collar system and super solid arrow.
Awesome video. With a 35/36 ata bow, 27.5-28” draw length, what would be the extra gap between the nock points?

I find it interesting where you can buy that workbench clamp for compound bow
Question, once paperd with vanes. Is it necessary to bare shaft?
I am going to stick with my TRX 34 as my 3D bow for now. The Title is just too expensive for me to justify getting one. I do, however, think they should have added the quiver cutouts to the Title 36 riser.
I love my Mathews bow but I chose the Stratos 40 @60lb this year.
Excellent video!! Thank you.
May want to wear a Mathews shirt next time. You have Hoyt on your arm sleeve which was in the shot. Little stuff but important. Again, great video!!
He’s a dealer. He can wear whatever shirt he wants. Check out his shop Spokane Valley Archery.
Absolutely and it was a fantastic video!!
You have to try Quattro target stabilizers. They’re the best on the market hands down!!!!!
Matt McPherson's mad scientist laboratory has released the best bows this year. Mathews is absolutely killing it.
Great vid love the color of the new bow !
I say half inch to 3/4 is about a good Loop especially shooting a thumb button
I know the answer for the universal level!! No joke!!! I’m working with a buddy to hopefully solve this. All I’m going to say is there is a commonality in all bow sites.
how much can u shoot 50m round outdoor?
Idea for the bubble level that might work to get axis adjustments on almost all sights...How about one with a magnetic base?
Amazing idea in theory except sights are all made of aluminum. Read this comment and thought man thats brilliant then pondered it for a second and was like oh wait loll
Great POD in the background!
Joe Rogan lol I noticed it to was that Kat Williams on it
JRE! That particular episode was weird though....@@JohnNeedham-zk5ms
Have you thought about adding a strong magnet to the level to hook it to the rail?
Hmm. Now I know why I like my lift so much. Great way to explain.
Dan going to have to keep a box to stand on to shoot it lol
Wonder Josh actually knows what Dan done for Spokane Valley archery he kind of put it on the map
I keep one of those little metal loops in my kit

Y'all keep getting better excellent content, try cat tongue for your bow grip I really like it God bless and stay safe
Killer video bro! 🔥🔥
This is for all bows?
what is dans average vegas score????
What episode of JRE is that in the beginning? 😂
Now for some 300 round baseline scores!
You asked "why am I doing this"? The opportunity was missed here... We are all archers no matter the style and type that should be united. Welcome to the rabbit hole or target archery as you are well aware of with your hunting set-ups.
MFJJ should sell a bow brand field repair pouch and a larger truck/camp repair pouch.
I die a little bit whenever I see someone hammering on axles after a top hat change.
Why are target bows so expensive as compared to expensive hunting bows
Shooting a 300 is probably as hard if not harder then shooting an elk. I build a target bow last year and it’s tough. PB 296 as of today
As someone who has shot several 300's and two 450's with BHFS set up hunting elk is harder
@@jackbuendgen389 lol right on. I struggle with indoor, I’m way better at 3D. I have a hard time shooting 30 perfect arrows at the same target.
@@jackbuendgen389 I have to disagree I have no problem hunting elk but have yet to hit 300 elk are stupid and creatures of habit
@@davemartin660 where do you hunt?! I'd like to hunt stupid elk!
@@jackbuendgen389 it would easier to say I havent hunt California, Oregon, eastern states, and Canada.
Dan you should come down at the end of july for the rokman 3d archery games down here in southeast Idaho.
Any bets on if we see Dan in the mankini at the next TAC?
That could be a fun dare for him
@elkshape I would like to get a vise.
Oh come on MFJJ. Archery shop hack, cut a three inch piece of an old arrow and slice it down one side. Then slide it over the flat T-square and wala, the T-square fits on the rest just like your arrow!😀 Nice bow Dan!
Is Dan 4 ft tall?
Win for the short guy's!
Bodie shoots PSE though so maybe it’s not the best target bow? Forgot to mention that hehe. Mathews stans here
Bodie is currently shooting a title
@@podiumarcher3447 he won the Lancaster archery title with a PSE
Where are the swx mods tho
33340 with a 70 lb bow
I'm thinking doubt it.
Definitely figured you would have gone with a yellow title with white limbs to match your fletching
Nice setup
damn it, now im just picturing Dan in his back yard suning.
😂
No side plates on this one?
Using shot sense side plates 👍
Target bow for TAC? I'll watch another episode....I'm out 😂
I'm totally calling blake that now 😂
Why wouldn’t you perfect your hunting set up and stick with what you will hunt with? Bow arrows etc thanks for your knowledge guys!!
Want to sell your omp?
Rogan and Katt Williams in the background 😂 weirdest podcast I’ve ever listened to.
100%
You can't ship mathews bows.they gotta buy them in store.mathews policy
Was policy, not anymore but only on some bows.
You can do a giveaway on the OMP, I just happen to need a bow vise lol
