Jesus delivered me from drugs and alcohol. I was one of the greatest sinners. Jesus kept me hell and the grave. Yes I will tell somebody. Jesus can do the same for you.

Great to see this video again; my wife and I were at that concert following the Singing at Sea cruise. Being from Cambridge ON Canada, Jim offered to pick us up from our hotel with the Kingsmen bus, but we had a rental car.

My first introduction to the Kingsmen Quartet was back in 1975. The first Album I ever heard from them was called "1686 Lbs. Of Gospel", which had been put out the previous year (1974). Back then, the singers were Johnny Parrack at Tenor, Jim Hamill at Lead, Eldridge Fox at Baritone, and Ray Dean Reese at Bass. That Album is a very special Album to me. I still pull it up on TH-cam, and listen to it. Good times! Songs like "He's still living", "It's enough to make me Shout", "Hallelujah Square", "Jesus, I love you", and many more, make this particular Album very special...at least for me!

As much as I love modern Southern Gospel I do miss the guys like Jim Hamill and their bigger than life personality. JD Vestel Wendy and such. The charisma and ability to take a joke and the anointing they possessed were used mightily of God

The fantastic "train wreck" that was the mighty Kingsmen Quartet. 🤣
I grew up on the southern gospel of the Cathedrals, Inspirations, Florida Boys, Kingsmen, and so many others. I loved them all, but these guys were just something different in concert. You very literally never knew some times who was going to be doing what...but it was ALL wonderful!
Thank you so much for sharing these blessings with us!!!
