Randy Miller was one of the best musicians the Kingsmen every had. They would do well to bring him back now, they need the passion that he brought to the stage. Randy plays some 11 instruments and can sing anything, with feeling. One of the best, but he got little credit for his talent when he was with the group. I haven't seen or heard anything with Randy Miller in ages.
Randy and his wife Sherri are on their own singing. Just saw them Sunday 08-14-16. They have become close friends to my family. Great people.
I'm glad to hear he is still singing. I haven't heard anything that he's done in the last few years. I enjoyed him as much as any of the musicians with the Kingsmen in the old days. He was tops, in my opinion.

He did some solo work for a while, but haven't seen anything about him for a long while. When the Kingsmen band dissolved, all those guys just kinda faded away, sadly. I liked Randy a LOT, thought he was the most skillful other than Anthony Burger. Thanks for the comment.

It's just too bad that, instead of singing from the hymnbook like people used to, now we have a bunch of these charismatic 7-11 songs to sing-7 words to the song, and 11 times repeating the words until you're so tired of it that you wanna walk of the church that's singing a bunch of this kind of modern junk!!! Gimme the old time hymns and the old time songs of Zion again, and let's shout and sing and have CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever happened to the Perry Sisters, they where a great group, later years I think some of the daughters got involved with singing and traveling with the group, are they still singing, do they still sing on occasion, checkout the Video "Imagine if you will" by the Perry Sisters recorded in the early 90s, never seen them in person, they where a good group, where are they at now, does anybody out their know where they're up to as of late. Use to hear them on the radio, singing news charts.
The delivery of the song shouldn't matter, but, the delivery of the message behind the song is what matters. if you go to your favorite venue to hear your favorite singers and you just listen to how they sung it and you don't get the message then I guess you went for the wrong reasons. Yeah she could have brought her tones down a bit, but, a great song nonetheless.
I love to listen to the hoarseness of the bass. It's amazing. Praise the Lord.
