Most of these questions seem really deep and take an immense amount of energy to think of an answer for, but "what do most people misunderstand about you" is a truly AMAZING question. Its simple, brings about strong feelings, shows how much that stereotype effects them, can be as deep as the answerer wishes, AND establishes a strong connection between two people. The power and potential in that one question is LIMITLESS. I need to use/think about it more often.

The narration in this video was the best you've ever done. It was smooth, natural, felt personal, it was entertaining, the narrator felt interested in the content. Fantastically done Kelly Soong & Amanda Silvera.
For me the narration what is I mostly dislike about these videos. It does not feel natural. It feels like as someone trying to pretend hard to be kind and sweet, to reach something, to get something. I think it is not a good sign if someone finds this good. Those people can be mislead very easily. This tone and personality is not honest.
While all of those questions are great, it is worth mentioning that some skill and preparation is still required before you use them. Talking about those cats for a minute or two after saying "Hello" and establishing some connection will make the conversation flow better than shooting straight for "If you were immortal, how would you spend your life?".

Personally these questions seem more like questions a therapist would ask and not the lighthearted, fun, engaging casual conversational questions that make a first date fun. I could see asking these questions after several dates when there is a possibility of a relationship on the horizon.

I simply HAVE to say this. As well as favourite movie or book, you should include favourite video game in that question, if you know they're a gamer. It can tell you if they enjoy a long project (especially if it's an RPG) or things that can be done in a short session, enjoy a difficult challenge or a bit of simple fun, like to think things out or turn their brain off for mindless action, or even if they really dive into a good story. In case anyone is wondering, mine's Mass Effect 2. The story, world and characters are interesting, deep and enjoyable. The gameplay is not too challenging, but not mind numbing. And I do enjoy a good long RPG, so long as I get invested in something about the story, characters or setting.
I would also ask “how would your best friend describe you?” Since it isn’t their own opinion (in terms of insecurities) they will probably show some true colors when they talk about their friends and their relationship

For a first date, more important than the subjects, is to create a natural conversation. These are good things to discuss, but don't go along them as itens wrote in a list. One after another. Just create a nice conversation, entering naturally in these topics.

Appreciate these questions due to my strong reaction to them. I think if a date asked me any one of these questions, I'd feel incredibly anxious, thinking I do not have a "good enough" answer. Then, I think I would be thrust into "emotional mind", feeling an inability to access any wise or rational thoughts. While I feel like self-judgmental thoughts -- fear, shame -- would be plentiful. Suspect I need to gently & self-compassionately ask these questions of myself before I even think of asking them of someone else. And if I ever do ask a date one of these questions, introduce them in a kind and "very-un-job-interview-like" manner, remembering my initial reaction(s) to them.
The very first things I will ask someone is their preferred music choice , movie they like , favorite animal and favorite food . Because these are very important to me lol .

As for the content itself is very light and fun. I like it a lot 😃♡ My favorite 2 questions : "If you were immortal" and "what's your philosophy" The first is very cool and adventurous and will let the conversation drift into the endless world of imagination which is a great chance for a long conversation maybe. I feel like I'm doing research while watching this one. This is this discord server I'm a part of that has the most fantastic people. On the server is a "Question of the Day", where I've had a string of deep and thought provoking questions. I see I've used up question 3, 5 someone else asked and 9 is basically a given. All the same that's 7 more thought provoking questions. Thank you for this.
These are some great questions to ask friends you've been with for some time. Opens up some deep talking moments if you don't know about the other person well enough already. However, it's a little awkward to be asking these to someone you barely know since it's like you're putting them through an interview, no? Or is a trend nowadays to ask questions of this level to someone you barely know? Feels like you're breaking more than ice LOL. Or maybe that's the asocial side of me speaking.
Out of those I prefer the first one, and the one about the philosophy, but my all time favourite question is “assuming you had to pick, would you rather know when or how you will die, and why?”

Unfortunately these questions are the types of questions that I only ask people I know and not in the first encounter, as these questions are intrusive questions that I don't like to ask any person I just met, and I don't answer these questions to a stranger either. It's just me.
After a few dates, I got the idea to do this with my now boyfriend and some months later he told me he really liked this activity at the beginning of our relationship. Appreciate these questions due to my strong reaction to them. I think if a date asked me any one of these questions, I'd feel incredibly anxious, thinking I do not have a "good enough" answer. Then, I think I would be thrust into "emotional mind", feeling an inability to access any wise or rational thoughts. While I feel like self-judgmental thoughts -- fear, shame -- would be plentiful.
Suspect I need to gently & self-compassionately ask these questions of myself before I even think of asking them of someone else.
And if I ever do ask a date one of these questions, introduce them in a kind and "very-un-job-interview-like" manner, remembering my initial reaction(s) to them.
The very first things I will ask someone is their preferred music choice , movie they like , favorite animal and favorite food . Because these are very important to me lol .

These are some great questions to ask friends you've been with for some time. Opens up some deep talking moments if you don't know about the other person well enough already.
However, it's a little awkward to be asking these to someone you barely know since it's like you're putting them through an interview, no? Or is a trend nowadays to ask questions of this level to someone you barely know? Feels like you're breaking more than ice LOL. Or maybe that's the asocial side of me speaking.

Oh my goodness... countless love songs on the radio, and now this video... is fate playing a role in communicating to me about asking my crush out to get to know her better? Or am I having confirmation bias in what I'm looking at due to my intense feelings of crushing? Perhaps it's both. Either way, I'm quite frightened yet also curiously and cautiously hopeful. Unfortunately these questions are the types of questions that I only ask people I know and not in the first encounter, as these questions are intrusive questions that I don't like to ask any person I just met, and I don't answer these questions to a stranger either. It's just me.

After a few dates, I got the idea to do this with my now boyfriend and some months later he told me he really liked this activity at the beginning of our relationship. We came up with our own questions but it definitely helps to know the person fast. Thanks for these, they're really good questions :)

Being immortal I’d probably watch all the animes, read all the mangas and books on topics I’m interested in....☺️ Learning to play some instruments.. learning Japanese etc! And maybe spend time on some other hobbies.
And sometimes- when I’m ready for social interactions- I’d help some people with groceries, cleaning the houses, taking care of animals...

Make sure to choose someone that will be able to understand what you are saying or what you are trying to do because sometimes being too deep in mind can make us look fool to other people and it sucks.
That is why I kept it all inside until someone wants to hear what I am thinking... Even so I still observe and feel if she or he is sincere,I don't wanna share something I am thinking and just get misunderstood after.
