I’ve had my Pixel 7 since launch and it’s been a pretty solid device. Android 14 definitely improved the overall performance and battery life for sure. I’m planning to keep mine until the Pixel 10 series and this time I’m going for the pro model.
I ordered the P7 when it came out and yes after the update it made it much better but now the Pixel 9 has my attention to upgrade
I have had mine for ~3 months now and my only gripe with it is that some days the battery gives me well over 5 hours of SoT easily, but other days, it barely cracks the 4 hours mark. I don't know why that is even the case. Nonetheless, I have been really impressed with it and I am super glad I still went with the 7 instead of the 7a, because those bezels on the 7a are really ugly.
@jerrymartinez2528 if you can push your P7 till the P10 I would do that!
P10 is going to have a brand new different Soc inside for better performance, battery 🔋 life most likely faster charging speeds & people that play ▶️ games & record videos and so on... no heating issues!
This is what I'm hearing starting with the P10 series because Google's contract with the Soc/tensor chips (Samsung) end with the P9 series in 2024 🥳🙃

It's funny I had the pixel 7 then upgraded to the pixel 8 but yesterday went back to the pixel 7 again just prefer the feel of it in my hand and luv it better!

Now I'm using my OnePlus 8 and Google pixel 7. But the OnePlus 8 Wi-Fi range is much stronger so can someone of you try to compare his Google Pixel 7 with any other phone and give me the results ?
@@YemeniTechnicianMy Pixel 7 has a very good WiFi range. I mowed my 1/4 acres yard and still use it with my headphones.
Does it over heat or lag while raw image editing in Lightroom?
How good is the battery life on full brightness or near full when recording video, taking photos a lot or watching TH-cam, when I am going outdoors that is my use case pkus some browsing looking up things so I wonder if it will last me all day or I need a power bank or to get different phone
Sometimes I record a lot, so let's say if I were to record for the 3 hours would it last, I would probability dim the screen tho to save battery for this use case how much it would impact the battery
I'm thinking about buying an S23 Ultra which practically doubles the price of the Pixel 7, my problem is the battery that lasts less and takes longer to charge, how much screen time do you get on the Pixel 7 Thanks
in terms of software updates, will the "3 generations guaranteed" still apply in 2024? will pixel 9 count as 3rd gen or pixel 10?

It is still worth buying. I have switched from iphone 14 pro to pixel 7. Iphone is a great phone but i'm sick of apple and their "apple way" of doing things.

Not sure why some people have heating issues, battery issues maybe it's specif yo each unit. I use my P7 since the luanch have never experienced those issues .

there's something about the rectangular design
Ive had the pixel pro for like 8 months now and the screen has failed, the volume buttons have just fallen out so have to keep it in a case, and when wake up on 100% battery it drains to 80% before even leave for work 2 hours later, barely lasts a work day when it's barely being used. Super laggy and bugs out on the reg. Also uploading photos from it is terrible because the quality is often degraded where it isn't on and it doesn't let you access your albums in your gallery when trying to upload by default. (so you can't just favorite the pics you wanna upload to Instagram in a series of photos you have to scroll through a list of tiny thumbnails from your recent photos and hope you can identify the good selfie from the tiny thumbnails. Android unfortunately is not the operating experience it was 10 years ago... Shit sucks.
The camera drew me in. (which i feel like hasnt gotten worse or less intuitve in updates) but the experience using it is so bad and that I wonder how they call it a "pixel pro" im a pro MUA and I winder sometimes if my clients judge me when i show them their pictures on a google pixel with dead pixels.... The irony.
Oh yeah and I cant get it replaced under my warranty unless I pay the 800 I owe on my payment plan with my carrier. Google support is ass.
Which is why i never get payment plans... sorry for you brother Havent had any issues like you have had with the uploading though, weird.
My pixel 7 has still heating issues just watching this video. 😅 I hope Google would consider replacing their chip. My 4 year old Xiaomi which I replaced with Pixel 7 is not overheating when watching TH-cam.
Have you updated to Android 14? Mine doesn't get hot since updating the OS.

Wait for the pixel 10 because they will stop using Samsung for the soc then and tensor will get good. Unless the 7 is giving you issues.
Really like the screen size on the Pixel 7, much more than Pixel 8. Feels premium.
Other than hearing its a good phone, traded it for 8a for awesome exchange deal and very very happy with 8a

@@YemeniTechnician I switch to the OnePlus 12 from the Google Pixel 7 pro the Google phone I was having problems with it heating up Wi-Fi range call drops but the OnePlus 12 I have not had any trouble whatsoever everything is completely strong
@@YemeniTechnician I got the Google Pixel 7 pro I was disappointed with the Wi-Fi range the calls that dropped the overheating the lack of power The camera was magnificent but that wasn't enough to keep me with Google so I gave that phone to my daughter and I ordered the OnePlus 12 and it is the best phone I have ever used in my life I am so happy that I ordered it the battery is awesome The performance is a beast The camera is great The user experience has been great Wi-Fi range is extremely strong cell service the best I've ever had

I used iPhone 12 for an half of year and it was just like every other iPhone, smooth, fast, cameras are great so you won't make mistake... That is if you are IOS user. I used android whole my life and decided to try out iPhone, went for iPhone 12, and sold it, just missed android too much. Now I am thinking of eather S21 Ultra, S22+ or Pixel 7...
@@milos1534 we thinking the same brother...i had the S21 ultra(unfortunately it was exynos) but i dropped it and cracked the shit out of it so i have to change,i decided to go for smaller phone and no ultra to avoid dropping that heavy bastard again...i am a fan of both android and ios so i might go for iphone just not to fall i nmistake again...cause i did get a asus zenfone 9, it was super fast and small with great battery but the selfie camera didnt do it for me and i faced lots of trouble in mobile network connection so i had to return it to the store, so i might switch to IOS just to be safe
@Moey248 welp, than you will be fine with iPhone . Even tho it was first time for me using IOS, I enjoyed it, only two things I really didn't like was battery life, and ear speaker was just so shit honestly, that's why I see many ppl using iPhone just speak on main speaker and not on ear one... other than that, phone was just great and reliable.

I've had the Pixel 7 for a year and it's the absolute worst smartphone I've ever had. It keeps hanging, errors in the Google apps, restart at least once every day, the fingerprint sensor works very poorly. I should have spent more money on a better device. Never Google again!

Dont buy pixel 7. I am trading it off for s24ultra. it is slow. Unable to search contacts. Camera is better than my previous oneplus 7T.
