I like the boxy form of the 7 than the too rounded corners of 8
Had mine for more than a year and its better now than the day i got it. I cracked the back glass though, but ill keep using it for a long time
Does pixel 7 support image clipper option ?
When I picked up the Pixel 8 I passed my P7 on to my wife. She's enjoying it as its an upgrade from her 6a. I scored a pretty good deal on a 7 Pro and its one of my daily drivers for now. The 7 series is still pretty good.
I use P7 as my daily driver - bought last year in Jan 23, never looked back, always forward! I don't mind a few bugs, since I was an avid Custom ROM user but had always missed the vanilla OS experience - not to have to work to get the authentic Android experience.
How is the battery
Great review, clear concise speech +++
I've been using my one plus 6t for 5+ years and love it still. Is switching to pixel7 a good idea?
I lost my p7 and just picked up another one used for 275 and couldn't be happier to have my phone back don't see myself getting a new phone for a while
I have one. And yes it is. Most of the issues have been ironed out with firmware upgrades. And the prices are fantastic for a flagship phone.
Bought this one last week!
Does UI of pixel have seperated option of theme same as what Samsung or xiaomi have??
Nopp nada
Got one from eBay recently and its pretty great. It does run hotter than I'd like it to though
in what store?
Switch to 4G/LTE.
this video came on time i just got one lol. im making the jump from a 2 XL
@user-cr7dy4pr1ustill waiting on it to come in the mail, i'll put up an update when I get it
@user-cr7dy4pr1u still waiting on it to come in the mail i'll put up an update once I get it
@user-cr7dy4pr1ugot it, been using it for a few days..everything has been smooth so far, no big issues (yet)
@user-cr7dy4pr1u update: been using it for the past few days. everythings been smooth on android 14, no major issues
got it in the snow color & it reminded me of the t-mobile galaxy s3 from back then so i have a good feeling about this one
I found last google pixel 7 on online store. I ordered it. I don't care it has only 128 gb I really just wanted that phone a lot!
How much did you get yours for?
@@eatingwithgio 475 euro all new sealed, maybe too overpriced but still worth it but I will recommend the new 8a if you have that budget.
I am planning on getting one next week
did you get it? because I'm thinking of getting it too
@@nishanthravichandiran4008 I have a pixel 7. Its a brilliant phone but the pixel 8 will be supported till android 21 which is insane. Buy a pixel 8 and youll be able to keep it until 2030. The pixel 7 will last you until 2027. If you use a custom rom maybe you can get a few more updates out of it beyond android 16 (which will be the 7s last os update in 2025).
Whats the screen on time it gives?
6-7 hours on moderate use with only social media but with constant gaming and using the camera it will drop down to 4-5 sot.
What would be the better choice
Pixel 7 pro or pixel 8?
If you need zoom camera, go p7p. If you need compact go with p8. Otherwise, they are similar.
Maybe it’s worth it now because the pixel 8 is not getting Gemini nano.
Exactly 💯 and I think it's smart to pick up the P7 and keep it until the P10 🙃😉🥳
You could get the features still AI features.
It's getting Gemini nano now
I just bought one for $189 plus tax on eBay
what should i pick? Pixel 6 pro or Pixel 7
7 of course
@@whysoserious4464 Sorry, already got the nothing phone 2a
@@whysoserious4464s20 or pixel 7? Which one should i get?
Should i get a Pixel 6P or a normal Pixel 7
Get a P7 if you don't care about a micro lens
@@gameliashiagbor5965s20 or pixel 7? Which should i get?
I got one for 230 brand new,it's no where near outdated
where for 230?
@@mirwaishimmat6946 mines coming in the mail from Walmart lol it only cost 216 for me coming from 7a
@@mirwaishimmat6946 you can get them fairly cheap used.
Yeah I got one from AliExpress for 344€ minus the reduction that came out total 288€. I’m located in reduced tax zone. No Brainer, I’m waiting 2 year and then I go for a flagship 1/3 the price.
I just got one on ebay for $190.
What i dont like coming from pixel 5 are the bezels.
Running graphene os on my pixel 7 and its working great still. Theyre pretty close in speed. Only annoying thing is the pixel 7 wont be getting updates for 7 years like the pixel 8 which I think is a bit of a bummer. Google could easily support all the older pixels if they wanted to but of course they dont. If Id known the pixel 8 was getting that support id have just waited. No point buying one now though or I waste even more money. Ill just have to wait till october 2026 when the pixel 7 no longer recieves the latest android and get a pixel 11 or 12. Could always run lineage or calyx though to get 2 years of extra os updates.
they will probably still support it even though its not official
@@carolcooper3138 You think? Ive never seen them go past what they promise 9 times out of 10. Maybe this time will be different though. I hope they at least update it till 2027 (android 17). By that point the battery is probably starting to get worse anyway so youd probably want a new one. Also in 2027 removable batteries will return due to EU law, so thats a good time to upgrade.
@@Britishblue. oh 2027??? thats probably a stretch
@@carolcooper3138 its 2 years extra over the original. Pixel 7 is said to get android updates to android 16 in 2025 october while the pixel 8 will get android 21. Seems a bit unfair lol
@@Britishblue. I remember the nexus days they supported those things for so long, not sure the exact number though, Got the first pixel too 🥲
Been using mine for over a year and imma be frank I don't like it. I came from an LG V40 and this phone somehow feels substantially slower than that ancient thing. I have constant bugs and performance hiccups to a point where I'm probably gonna shell out the money for a different phone asap
i feel the same, something was always off with it . Gave my a54 away as a gift, and regreted it.
Bro, I know that Pixel 7 will get Android 16. Will Pixel 7a get Android 17??? Based on Google's official information, the Pixel 7a will get Android 16. I find these two models confusing. Should I get the Pixel 7 or 7a? 🤔
right now you can find it for 250 for an acceptable condition.
Should I get pixel 7a or pixel 7 ?
Get the pixel 8 now
Facing poor network connectivity on 5G for cellular calls data works perfectly well
Battery lasts less than previous pixel 6 and phone gets hot with routine use
I think pixel phones after 5 started looking better but performance getting detoriated
I haven’t had much luck with pixels and thermal control. They tend to overheat with my usage patterns 🤷🏻♂️
Do you know this from experience or are you just repeating what you hear TH-camrs say?
@@whysoserious4464 using pixel phones since pixel 2 was launched so yes you can say own experience
@whysoserious4464 I've had pixel 1,2,3,5,7 series. A good amount of personal experience with pixels.
Switch to LTE only it's better
I hate my pixel 7. After talking to people it seems like i have a defective device. Its better than my moto g but worse than my boyfriend old samsung. My phone glitches out of apps, freezes, moves the cursor while I'm typing, drops calls (ive even had my sim card replaced). I have to restart my phone often. I regret buying this phone.
Fix ur audio!
