MJ and Marlon Brando where actually really close friends. So close that Brando lived at Neverland for a time, wrote Michael on his will before his passing and so on..
Jack Reacts please add to your list The Art or Letting Go and So So Lonely (One and Only Part II), both by Mariah Carey. Both are produced by Darkchild. The first one is a ballad, and the second one is a fast hip hop song featuring Twista. If you do react to So So Lonely, I would recommend first doing One and Only, which is the “part I” of the song. Aww the summer of 2001. I was 18 years old. Just graduated high school. And I remember listening to the radio on my way to Sacramento ca. N the Dj says “The king is back! The world premier of Michael Jackson’s new song ‘You Rock my World.” N the 4 year old little boy inside of me was so happy. Michael is The King. My King. He made this world a better place. They tried to silence him many times while he was alive. They tried to turn the world against him. But when your blessed, the enemy will never have the victory. Even in death, they can’t silence him. They still try to ruin him but they still and always will fail. I love you Michael Joseph Jackson, The King of Pop.
I remember when this premiered on tv..haha everybody was watching. When MJ premiered a new SHORT FILM, it was a major event. Never be something like that again 🙌🏽HE IS THE KING!
I missed the premiere! But the one thing that I remember - is that one of the first times I was listening to this song, was when I found out about Aaliyah. My local radio station played it on the radio...and then the DJ came on after and broke the news about her. I hate that it is tied to such a sad memory - but I still adore this song.
