Because of the Flip Through that You did of the Christmas book, I am now on the mailing list for the book, the calendar and Hershners catalog. I can't thank you enough.
I used to get the book offerings in a magazine that is no longer in print 😢😢😢. I always enjoyed both the Christmas book and the Calendar that has a Cross Stitch Pattern for every month. I had looked and looked and couldn't find a new resource for them, so Thank You again.

You enabled me with the Just Cross Stitch Magazine and I subscribed to it because I loved the Hummingbird Garden one and I also love the Quilt Series ones. This summer, I am adding roller skating to my cross stitch schedule. I hope to be proficient by June.
I'm so glad you do the flip-throughs of the magazines. I've not had a chance to view the ones from the UK. We were hit by summer weather this week here in Michigan. Three people in my family share a June 25th birthday-myself, my brother, and one of my daughters!

The weather here in the UK is just confused, here we are heading towards the back end of June going into summer yet its more like Autumn. Less than a week ago we had hail here in Yorkshire but i guess thats the beauty of the UK 🤔.

Thank you for the flip thrus! Just Cross Stitch jas raised their game....I think maybe some short stitch alongs would be good too❤ When I first started stitching I would go spend time with my sister in law June in the summer. She has a cabin in then mountains that was really a beauty !

I do love the changes to the Just cross Stitch magazine but personally I buy the issues I like I haven’t subscribed for years. I just got to where I didn’t even look at them anymore! The summer issue this year I think is one of the better ones! ❤

For me, if there are two patterns that I want to stitch in an issue it's worth the price. They are fun to look anyway! I've also found myself going back to old JCS issues for Xmas and Halloween smalls.

Yes I enjoy the magazines without the need to actually stitch. Just Cross Stitch is available on Readly as well as The World of Cross Stitching and Cross Stitcher.
Carolyn! Greetings from Dallas! I stopped my subscription to the World of Cross Stitching as it just got too expensive so I enjoy your flip throughs. I totally agree with you regarding Just Cross Stitch. I’m thrilled with the changes that I have seen in the last two issues. What a great idea for Barbie to come to Stitch Con and hear suggestions! I would have attended that also! Am also stitching Hummingbird Garden. I’m a real Carolyn Manning fan. Hope all is well in the Pacific Northwest. We’re already in the 90s every day here in Dallas and undoubtedly headed for triple digits way too soon! ❤️

Uh, interesting for me this issue of The World of CS. The small Berlin souvenir stitch, one of my dearest cities. Then Faby Reilly I am a fan of her floral biscornus.
But most of all ... Papa Smurf, because it reminds me of my childhood in communist Romania when the only cartoon we could see aside from Tom and Jerry was Papa and his smurfs on the Bulgarian tv channel. :))

And just saying hello to Simon, of course! Am I the only one who has this reaction? As soon as the first ear appears on the corner of my screen I suddenly lose all my attention for cross stitching. A Sabotage master, that's Simon! :)

Jcs continues to move away from what I like unfortunately. I want less sampler/prim/cutesy stuff. The British magazines are hit or miss, but I definitely find stuff occasionally in them.
