I love the dragon. Not sure when I will start it, but it is just too pretty to pass up. Because of your flip-throughs of The World of Cross Stitching, I have subscribed to the magazine for 2025. The January issue was the first I received. My observation is that the British love their backstitching. Not a bad thing because it sure does add a lot of dimension to the piece, but I am not much of a fan of actually doing the backstitch. Thank you for sharing.

I love these flip throughs you do ❤. I like the owl, the caravan, and the dragons. I just finished the owl from the 2025 keepsake calendar! My first finish of 2025! Didn’t use the white aida, though, I used a 28ct overdyed linen by XJuDesigns.

Carol, do you think the Hello Winter piece could be stitched one little design on perforated paper and used as the face of a holiday card? Are they small enough for that? You can tell from my comment how far I’ve gotten on the flip through and I am enjoying it as usual. 🤩. The owl is an unusual piece and I love the colors! Maybe that extra opening is the hole in the tree that is the owl home? Thanks for sharing and have a great week.

Great flip through! My favorite is the owl, very creative way of framing. I think that’s what draws you to the piece. I like the dragon piece, the heart border is really pretty. Have a great week!

I might buy it just for the dragon chart. My daughter is mad about dragons. I also might do the owl but find a moon pattern that I liked for its inner hoop

Thank you again SO much for helping to coordinate all these fun challenges... its been a LOT of fun seeing what everyone is working on, and i know ive mentioned this b4 but its the 1st time ive ever actively particapted in a challenge and i totally went into brringo thinking i wouldnt complete it; but i am SO proud of myself cuz i actually stuck to my prompts and completed my board! And this actually renewed my interest in several of my long standing wips that have been ignored- but now im actually excited to pick em up again and get em done!!! 🎉🎉 Happy stitching🐈‍⬛🪡❤️

I wanted to start hummingbird garden since you first started showing it, but I don’t get the magazine. It’s available in kindle unlimited now, at least the first 3 issues of 2024, so I was able to start. I imagine December will be coming soon but it’s so pretty stitched up! I’m two motifs in and shooting for a finish in 2025. Maybe some of your other watchers have kindle unlimited as well and would like to know.

Happy Monday! I just got off the treadmill and boy it sure felt like a Monday and I didn’t want to do it. Your sweet smiley self made it ok! I love seeing Christmas Dinner each time and I know it is an old wip for you, smart moving down to some animals to break up that background. You prompted me to think about a Valentine stitch, and I remembered I started a pretty old and kind of small monochromatic Rosewood Manor last year in honor of us being married for over 40 years! We hit 42 years last September. ❤ Even though my odds of winning are small, and I might freak out by the size if I do, I’m throwing my hat in the ring for Sampler. Have a great week!

Hi Carolyn and Jack! Great stitching this week. Love the Bitty Bowl and congrats on your finish! Loving Christmas Dinner and am so glad you are continuing with it. Fabulous progress on A Cozy Respite. Good luck with all those hours on The Snuggle is Real. The slipper cuff is a bear on potato lugana so I hope it is easier on the pink fabric. I can hardly wait to get to the slipper and get out of the cuff area although I might do the kitten next before going on to the next page. Thanks for all you do to keep things interesting and to get me some mojo back for stitching. I should have gotten a lot more stitching done than I did while I didn't have Walter but instead was busy finishing up putting the Christmas stuff out in the garage, organizing the garage, and changing out Walter's toddler bed for a twin mattress with Paw Patrol sheet and pillowcase. I sure have missed that little guy. Sounds like I will have him Tuesday and take him home Wednesday this week and then on the weekend, so back to schedule. One option for blends on high number counts is doing tent stitch for the blended moment or one part of X with one colour and completing the X with the other colour. Always things we can experiment wth. 🦉🧵🪡

I may have to get that magazine just for that cat stitch love is patient except I would have to make it a white and orange kitty😂 If there’s one thing I’ve learned starting over with a kitten it is patience!!😂🐈
