    Connor you are amazing, thanks for this tutorial. My family and I have had a lot of economic problems these last 2 years while I was waiting for my work permit in the USA. Within my family I am the one who has ideas and the entrepreneur, but the issue of migration tied my hands. This is a new beginning and I know that with my knowledge in web design, web development and now also with Artificial Intelligence I will be able to support my family. I have no shortage of desire to continue learning. Thank you for sharing this video and information with us.

    Many people would expect this video to be 2 minutes long with a final answer "$2k setup + $500 retainer", but you went into detail of why it isn't that simple, and what goes into pricing a chatbot. This has been very in-depth and interesting for me. I think I'll initially charge $2k setup fee minimum, since I'm quite new, for basic chatbots, and then charge significantly more once I build experience and more complex chatbots and solutions. Thank you for this video.

    I can`t tell you enough how valuable and so spot on in time this was to me. I was literally on a call with one of the Liams just today wanting to sign up, but trying to start an automation agency to begin with is enough costs for me a.t.m. So after the call I felt a little lost again on how to just get started. THIS was what I needed to hear. I can do this. thanks so much!

    Nice one! Solid info from your experience.
    I love that you thoughtfully mentioned at the end about making a portfolio. That's sth I might well do, but I also have an interior design firm I know who I would like to offer a free bot.
    When starting out, I don't think it's as easy as saying I'll charge x amount, and this is precisely bc of the 4 questions you address in the video.

    Thanx, this was hmm.. enlightning. I came from one of those Liams lately :).. I started to learn how to use Flowise, to build one of those fancy chatbots, you know, those "easy to build,
    lots to earn on them" ones... I know something for now about GTP's, LLM's, I can setup LLM locally, I can prompt more effective than most "normal" people.... And I failed even to follow one series of tutorials, because details... OK, I built it. OK, it works... It seems to work, however i spits nonsenses :) And I, because I am just learning how the builder works have no idea why this simple schematics I built don't want to cooperate :). And it runs on my computer. Not to mention about deploying it, integrating into website and later adjustments you mentioned :)
    So this video actually gave me some calm, that maybe I'm not exceptionally stupid not being able to build even simple thing that others build in 10 minutes and make milions :)

I'm assuming that I can just go to Wordpress or something like that and integrate voice flow to start posting my chatbots on the page. Also, would you discourage us from selling our services on Fivver or some similar freelance marketplace?

      I just added some pricing to mine because my chatbot was getting pinged so much on that particular question (could have been other chatbot builders like you fishing for info). We'll see if it leads to anything organic from site sign ups.

    Probably the most comprehensive and well thought out answer to a common question (which I myself have asked). Thanks for sharing the process you use to justify your pricing. I’d like to know if your dev time goes down as you create more and more ‘similar’ projects and if so, do you maintain the same price point?

      Great question Paul. It depends on the project, but the short answer would probably be "yes". A quicker deliverable is also valuable to the client, and the only way that happens is with experience.

    Well, once again...Thank you Conner! I am locked onto your channel because of your down-to-earth perspective. I'm glad you brought up the Liams...I actually feel bad for people who buy into the unrealistic "hype" that's put out there by some of these guys. For me, this is not a "get rich quick" en devour, I want to bring value at a fair price. As I can become more efficient and build the right partnerships, the reward can become larger.

      That's how it is for every online business model - buy into the hype and idea of getting rich quick easily. Then they realize it's not easy money, and they need to put in the work, and they give up. Only the big boys remain at the end of the day.

    Watched everything 🙏 based on your experience if we wanted to stick to the non-technical small businesses and just serve more of them would that a sustainable offer or do we need to actually be "dev" and build out more custom solutions to stay "competive." My girlfriend runs a small business and I built her a chat bot I was just thinking if it produces results for her just to reach out to other ones in her niche and scale that service. You're thoughts appreciated...
