You have no idea how strong you are. Trust me, there have been many times when I've wanted to express my feelings and let my emotions out, but I just couldn't. I've cried and dealt with my problems silently. It's not easy, but we can get through this in time. Everything will pass.

Your videos help a lot not just for tutorials on making videos but also tutorials about life.
    As a 27 year-old guy (turning 28 next week), I feel like I'm lost.

This is amazing! More creators need to be open about the emotions and feelings we feel by taking that leap to greatness and feeling fulfilled. I took the leap 2 years ago this month and I cried and cried once the things I sacrificed like my time, health, sanity, relationships, and more. You inspire me to be a different type of creator and person. I have started focusing on me and my feelings and needs.
I appreciate you Ben and keep up this amazing content!

Thank you for being so open. 💜 You are giving others permission simply by showing up as you have -- this was moving for me in ways I'm not sure I can express yet. But I rarely comment on the countless videos I watch, let alone having the courage to even acknowledge the emotional impact something like this (your vulnerability and expression, what you shared) has had for me.
May you continue to lean into your intuition on what to create, what to share, how to show up in the world -- trusting that the impact you can have on others will only grow as you continue to show up. All the best!
    --
9:38 You mentioned 'needing to connect with people more, meet new people, explore new places, and actively seek emotional fulfillment ..." -- a great awareness on next steps! In my experience it's easy to point at ourselves about what we want/need to do. Lately I am finding myself taking a step back and frame what I know I need to do into a question to make it easier to find that next step in that area. Rather than only "knowing" I need to connect with people more, can I invite more curiosity about what that entails, tangibly in my life:
"where is somewhere I feel curious and inspired to go to meet people at?",
"what activity could I explore this weekend/month and meet other people that way?",
"what's something I want to do/learn but have some resistance to exploring?",
"what places locally or afar have I been drawn to but never let myself explore?",
"who in my life could I reach out to right now to spark the next, deeper, more fulfilling connection?",
"where can I go alone that would be enriching?", or "who might I want to invite along on a little adventure?"
    (etc)
For me, sometimes "needing to connect with people more" is intimidating and vague, but if I can get my brain thinking about "WHERE could I meet people," or "WHAT could I be doing that happens to have people I could meet," or "WHO do I want to start creating a deeper friendship/connection with?", I might be more inclined to schedule that event or go to that place.
I hope that you find whatever questions you need, answers to those questions, and allow yourself to ride the momentum from the emotions/experience you shared in this video. All the best!

Hey Ben, my name is Ben too.. I have just left my job of five years to finally take care of myself and my family.. As a guy you are told to just keep on pushing through everything.. All society ends up with is a swathe of broken, angry, disconnected men who have wasted their youth and bodies.
Today I learned a new quote which I think is great... " The Cave You Fear to Enter Holds the Treasure You Seek". Thanks for sharing and it's great that you have unlocked this important side of yourself. Cheers from Melbourne Australia.

I had a dramatizing childhood that caused me to become emotionally unavailable as an adult. I still struggle, but now I do therapy. I know it's along road for me. No idea how. I ‘accidentally’ acquired 40K followers on Instagram just by being my authentic random self. … gotta figure out how to translate that to TH-cam… anyway, just wanted to say that seeing you speaking so personally to your YT channel subscribers, feels inspiring… that it’s possible to grow financially just by sharing yourself authentically…
