I watched and entire season of Alaskan's living in McCarthy. There's no way I could do it. No shower, no running water, no electricity. NO FREAKING BATHROOM. I don't know how they do it.
I watch all series except Port Protection. My perception Is that t's a good show and interesting. Though I myself am no a hunter nor an outdoorsman I like watching how other people live, I admire how people live in the wilderness and the courage It must take. Does anyone remember the episode where Jessi was crying because they had to go back to Fairbanks to civilization, It's like she was having a meltdown. Not making fun but I've never seen anyone like that, and Fairbanks though not like somewhere like Manhattan Is nowhere a city most of us are used to.

its just completely pointless when you can dip your bucket in the water and fill it up instantly vs burning all them calories and time. dont like it spilling fabricate a lid dont make your lady risk her life to get a block of ice.and clean looking ice or not it should be boiled and at that point the color of the ice dont mater
A few years ago i saw this guy invent a campco like device, attached a hose to a propane tank ,threw the hose into the water, lake,stream, and had unlimited hot showers by the side of the road. Hed even made a privacy shower curtain and it worked amazing. Why couldn't they get the -50 insulated hose and use that when they could.?
That may need to do that on the worst winter days, and can get it nearer the cabin. It takes much more snow to make the same amount of water as it does using ice. If one gets sick or hurt they need easier access in bad weather too.
I'm definitely a fan of this particular show with all the participants better letting us View life, with that being said why the producer played the song at the end is definitely disturbing, if you listen real close you hear the words, bad choice of a song for sure, why the heck would you play "you have the devil inside you set the church on fire"... ..why oh why would someone in their right mind play that on a National Geographic documentary of the scope? Either way I find it a very bad choice and wanted to voice that because I'm on the comment section and I can do that
