An absolute chad of affiliate link usage. A proper reviewer who actually takes the time to use products that he’s going to speak on. I just watched a video with affiliate links that referred to itself, as the best accessories for iPad Air, and the dude was literally opening the items for the first time and giving his impressions on camera. This is the polar opposite of that video and I’m incredibly great full for that.

Note if you’re a college student, you should choose the Magic Keyboard over the Combo Touch, because the Combo Touch’s kickstand plus keyboard very likely won’t fit on those tiny tables in lecture halls.

@@joshnurse7227try some other brands like Logitech and ESR as they have some Magic Keyboard and Smart Keyboard knock-offs. They do not use the connector but the Bluetooth is not bad at all

Your reviews are not only pros and cons on paper, but from a user prospective (thick screen protectors that leaves case semi-open, or wear out pencil tips)! In just 8 mins you addressed so many products and their features, compared to other videos that need 12 mins to compare only 2 products! I'll be watching more content from this channel for sure!!
The Zagg keyboard is so underrated. It might be bulky but its incredibly protective and the stand in the back is super stable for when you’re working on your lap
Ringke has an plastic border like accessory that sticks to the side edges of iPad & are compatible all Apple/ESR magnetic cases. Thus reduces bulk & protects at the same time!
I have the Logitech set up on my second generation. Had it 4 years and it’s second to non. I’ve dropped my ipad twice and knocked the corners off but my ipad is protected. Its now held in by gorilla tape but yeah. It’s awesome!
I’ve use the Bellemond screen protector. I’ve had it on for about 2.5 years. Haven’t needed to replace it, only ruined one pencil nib. The second is in the process but it isn’t so bad. Never tried paper like nor did I need to use the second protector because the first did it’s job admirably.
I have the 2022 iPad Pro 11” w/ Combo Touch and the Spigen Glastr EZ fit screen protector fits like a glove. Those Glastr’s probably suck for Apple Pencil with its glass finish but the anti-scratch highly impressive.

I really like the Pitaka case since I use the Apple Magic Keyboard. I'd still recommend buying a skin to protect the back of the iPad and the uncovered side with this case.

hey, can you review the Zulu case for iPad Pro. it is like the ESR tough case but is better in all ways-looks, materials and mainly functionality. it is a but expensive but lasts very long. my sister bought it 4.5 yrs ago and she is still rocking it. she uses it daily as a digital notebook. The buttons are clicky and you feel confident when you hold your iPad that if I drop it sometimes nothing will happen and it wouldent bend. it has about 8 magnetic angles and the magnets are so strong that you can attach your iPad to your fridge. also the product uses eco leather/fake leather but it is still holding up, there are very little scratches and the material does not feel clear at all.

Had been using combo touch for almost a year. Mostly used it outdoor, other than the plastic cover start to peel off the keyboard now not detected. Sadge

Hey there, I’m watching this because I’m not to sure what screen protector to buy but I was wondering, does rhinoshield screen protector work with the Apple Pencil?
I’m kinda in the middle of buying either that or paperlike but a little afraid to lose the screen quality as I’m not just taking notes on the iPad, would really appreciate a feedback!

I game mostly on my ipad, and would much prefer a clear tempered glass screen protecter over rhinoshield’s plastic ones as glass is much smoother

I really like the Combo Touch but the kickstand makes it unusable on the lap and it takes up way to much space when deploying it on a desk. So I keep going back to the Magic Keyboard as it isn’t prone to those issues.
on the combo touch can you flip the keyboard under?
@@chezul411 No, you take the keyboard portion off completely when you don’t need it.
You can turn the keyboard around so the keys face the back of the case and reconnect it magnetically. It adds some bulk to the iPad though.
@@soculese I want to always be able to type and use the trackpad. I hate using the 12.9” iPad Pro as a touchscreen. It lives in the Magic Keyboard. If I need to touch the screen I instinctively use the Pencil.

It's a glass screen protector that has a matte glass panel which turns the thing into something like a paperlike made of glass
That point on compatibility of the Apple Pencil (and even the Magic Keyboard) is underrated. I had an Air 4 and recently upgraded to the M1 Pro 11” (after the M2 underwhelmed me with the announcement lol) and it’s great that I can use the Pencil and the MKB I used for the Air with the Pro now. Subscribed:)

Aaron, still no Zugu case? They don’t ship to the great North? Sigh. You liked that case with 9 magnetic steps of angle? Can we say 10? Best Pencil holder/protector, just a little exposure but it’s not going anywhere. Protection all around through I’ve never drop tested it, I’ll leave that to you. Only issue is no portrait mode. Life is tough but I manage. I was so hoping this was the time for Zugu. This is my 3rd version of the case, 12.9” 2020 Pro. If I ever need a new iPad, why? I’ll get a Zugu. Joe in the US where I can get a Zugu case.

The thing I really dislike is that most of those cases the same side of the cover that contacts your work surfaces (which isnt always the "cleanest" is also the part that touches your screen. No bueno. Even with a screen protector, its going to increase my usage cost because I will have to replace that sooner.
Just received my Mous iPad case, which I purchased through your link a couple of weeks ago and it’s terrific. Because I ordered it at Christmas, I actually got an extra discount which was a nice surprise. (I was also surprised to discover that it was coming from the UK.) My iPad feels really protected although it does feel heavier than I was expecting but no big deal. I’d rather have the protection and I do love the magnetic stand feature. It works perfectly. Hey, so i have had a combo touch for 18 months and it started falling part from light use in about 10 months. The layer of rubber around the case on the screen facing side has started separate. Do not think anyone should buy the combo touch until Logitech improves the longevity of it.
Great video, one thing about the logitech keyboard case is it has a way bigger footprint with the keyboard than the apple one, and it doesnt fit on trays on planes, but the apple one does. just a small note for often economy travelers like myself

Wait so the keyboard is like a protector?
The edges of the Logitech Combo warp over time around the speakers. I’ve had it for about a year and it looks terrible. Love the kickstand on the case, unfortunate about the materials.
I tested about 6 matte screen protectors for my IPad Air, and the one from ESR was by the far the best feeling one. It was also super easy to install because it came with a tray. Did you check that one out?
Have you tried the one from Bersem?
out of the six you tried did ESR also have the best clarity/color accuracy?
I have combo touch folio from Logitech. I love it. No complaints. Better than the Magic keyboard

Have you had a chance to try the Mothca matte screen protectors yet? It’s tempered glass with a chemically etched surface that makes it matte, but super silky smooth to the touch and easy to install. Been my go to for the last couple years on all of my family’s devices.

Huh, this seems like a really good product! Though, one issue I've heard come up with glass protectors is that they cause jitter when drawing diagonally with the apple pencil. Have you experienced this? Thanks!
@@amt2217 No, I have not… but I don’t really draw anyway. I use the Pencil for photo editing and note taking, but i’ve never noticed any issues with either of those tasks.

Debating getting the Logitech Combo Touch for my 4th gen Ipad Pro 11 inch. Just looking for an opinion on the new Combo Touch not having a magnetic flap to secure the Apple pencil when traveling. Have you had any issues with this?
Hehe, "the Apple Pencil 2 will last you a while"… boy that didn't age well (blaming Apple). For myself, I bought the outgoing iPad Pro M2 before it exited stage left to keep using my Apple Pencil 2. Love it. (I played with an iPad Pro M4 and Apple Pencil Pro in a training class. Verdict: nice, but I wouldn't abandon my 2022/2023 kit just to use the newest of the new. YMMV.)

More cases need to have little grooves to point the speakers forward. Using an old Targus case on my Pro 10.5 because it points the speakers at my face when I consume media!!!
