My question is why are these people even let out on bond/bail? Who is deciding that these people are safe enough to walk free after the things they’ve done and especially after having a prior record. Predators should not even have the option to walk free after evidence has been provided and confirmed to be factual. As someone who was a victim of grooming and eventually a very abusive relationship of four years afterwards (I was fifteen and he was twenty two at the time. SEVEN years older than me) it really does disturb me that these and other predators are even given the consideration of bail. Especially the ones that clearly show no remorse whatsoever. Even if it IS an act. I’m twenty six now and I’ve come to accept the fact that I will never get closure or justice for the things I went through, but these other children and young girls absolutely do NOT deserve to go through that horror. This isn’t all on law enforcement and the judicial system either. Parents NEED to be more aware of what their children are doing and where their kids are going. They NEED to be educating their children on these dangers and ensuring that their kids have the proper resources and open line communication wise (with their parents and even law enforcement) with their kids so that IF this happens to them, they feel as if they’ll be understood and not scared of being punished or not taken seriously. Ha! Trust me, ole Grady is a great multitasker, he can do all 3. This is the same guy who had hi officers harass and arrest a lady who was legally and peacefully protesting the fact that the jail removed all its basketball hoops and donated them to local churches. She thought that the inmates needed the physical exercise, but mostly she was against the donation because churches and the state should be separated. Whether you agree or disagree, isn't the point. Th point is they can harass and arrest someone peacefully protesting! Grady does great things, but he goes overboard in alot of cases.

If Grady gave the basketball goals to more than one particular church I think the argument about “separation” is moot. And the word “separation” isn’t even in the amendment. It was originally coined by a preacher in Rhode Island named Roger Williams. Early colonial VA has a struggle because the Anglican Church was the predominant Church there. When other denominations stated springing up they struggled to be recognized equally as the established Anglican Church which came over from England. But the government on any level cannot say what church we belong to as long as we aren’t breaking any laws.
