I had an opportunity to visit the Cadbury factory in Birmingham in 2016. Unfortunately, we arrived shortly before they closed, so we weren't able to go on the tour. We did go thru the gift shop and loaded up on different varieties of their chocolate. It's too bad that Cadbury has to go thru Hersheys to market in the US, so most Americans don't get a real taste of Cadbury. My favorite is the mini eggs...especially the white variety. I always try to stock up around Easter.
Unfortunately most Americans were raised on Hershey's, so they prolly wouldn't like the real Cadbury. I agree it's better, but it took some getting used to. Nothing beats a good dark chocolate bar though.
Cadbury's do not go through Hershey to market Cadbury Chocolate in the USA, it is made by Hershey under licence to Cadbury Chocolate of Birmingham UK and other than UK Cadbury beig sent to people in the US from the UK by mail no British Cadbury products are allowed in the US. I believe this stems from the fact that Kraft Foods purchased Cadbury under the nose of Hershey who were trying to buy out Cadbury Chocolate.

Not only the pack sizes are different, the ingredients are different too. Especially the colors they use. In India the regulations around food are very lax and companies like Cadbury and nestle take plenty of advantage of that fact. They put really dangerous things in the same products in India that are very harmful for health. In UK the regulations are a bit stricter regarding using dangerous substances in eatable things.
In Australia we have a bar called “Snack” which is small blocks filled with strawberry, mint, caramel, turkish delight, pineapple, orange and coconut ice and it is the most amazing thing ever 😍

As an American, I refuse to purchase the American Cadbury and will go out of my way to purchase Cadbury chocolates from an Indian store because they import it and its made in the UK. The taste is completely different than the American version b/c it’s brand is being licensed (by Hershey I believe) and the manufacturing is completely different.
I always get the feeling that Hershey isn't the custodian of the Cadbury name in the US, more like the kidnapper. They do the bare minimum, ensuring that their own brand is not overshadowed, and won't give the brand back to its rightful owner without a massive ransom.

@@Harshiahaha Right, Aishwarya Ray promotes that chocolate on TV
There seems to be a lot of bars that exist here in Ireland that don't seem to be in the UK unless they just were not mentioned in the video like cadbury Turkish, caramello, mint crisp ,golden crisp , wholenut and a few others. I really hope they bring back the rum and raisin stopped being sold here around 10 years ago
They are available in Britain, these are just the ones that aren't available in the other Country.
I've been to Ireland, and I have to say the Cadbury in Europe is FAR FAR BETTER than America.
Nothing is good in USA specially in the case of food lol
Yeah, the US isn't allowed good chocolate.
8:00 - 8:03 ... When the cadburry got rick roll at you ... 😂😂😂
We also have an amazing Dark Milk packaging in India, and it's available everywhere 🥲
But it is not pure dark chocolate. Jus compare ingredients with Lindt which only makes true chocolate.
love how they’re launching the chocolate pieces into the air for the staff to taste
no cadbury shots??
british people : our queen died R.I.P
le indians : let's bring back the kohinoor
Finally another food wars episode!!!!!!
13:08 well done solider 😎
Great video. I'm really glad I have a bag of Hershey's dark chocolate chunks while I watch this. It's so hilarious. The cleanse my palette was 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hershey isn't chocolate. So that definitely is a palate cleanser.
@@jackdubz4247 your right bruh I'm 99% sure hersey bars is frozen hot chocolate lmao idk if that's even possible but yeah..
Ew Hershey’s
Hershey’s is just dark colour poop made in bar💀
Herysheys chocolate isnt as good as cadbury
In Australia we have a bar called “Snack” which is small blocks filled with strawberry, mint, caramel, turkish delight, pineapple, orange and coconut ice and it is the most amazing thing ever 😍
Is "Snack" from Cadbury? And what's the Turkish Delight flavor supposed to taste like
Thank you so much for this episodes. I always wanted to know the difference between cadbury products of both the countries.
Ramesh and Suresh on fire right now 🔥🔥
India definitely takes a win for this Food Wars.
@ANGLO-SAXONSbest cows?I really doubt that
@ANGLO-SAXONS weird flex but okay.
@Anglo Saxon bruh how stupid can one be lol you do realize more that 50% of spices come from India and in ancient times European traders used to trade spices from india just living in delusion lol
It’s the only thing they have ever won from the Brits.
Had lots of fun watching this, thanks!
I don't like herseys one
I always get the feeling that Hershey isn't the custodian of the Cadbury name in the US, more like the kidnapper. They do the bare minimum, ensuring that their own brand is not overshadowed, and won't give the brand back to its rightful owner without a massive ransom.
Indian Cadbury is made in factories in india. The formulated powder is shipped, and the whole process is completed here. Not in the UK.
13:07 Always love the Nikhil humour. That's why I consider him as a huge foodie and an artist
20:43 Can't agree more
18:49 We also have Cadbury Chocobakes Choco chip cookies, which was most probably unavailable at any nearby store in Bangalore during the time of filming. @Nikhil no thanks needed my g
Ramesh Guy or Suresh Guy😂
The Curly Wurly is similar to what used be sold in the US as a Marathon Bar. I loved freezing those to shatter and eat pieces of frozen caramel & chocolate.
30 years ago in the UK a Marathon bar is what’s now a Snickers.
3:29 india does or did have caramel
"Cadbury Temptations rum and raisins...RUM!?"
"Can they sell this to children?"😂😂
the editors are so hilarious, first with the laser eyed strawberry and then nikhil jobs 😂
Milk Tray is a brand of boxed chocolates currently manufactured by Cadbury. Introduced by Cadbury UK in 1915, it is one of the longest running brands in the confectioner's portfolio. Milk Tray is sold in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, New York City, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
13:34 his reaction to rum 🤣🤣
Nikhil being a typical Indian, while he plugs-in Parle's Melody in between Cadbury sess. Melody Supremacy!!!
Someone needs to tell Nik, he doesn't need to eat every single bar!
But he can
You can't argue with 'Melody' ❤
Cadbury is so underrated.🍫
Where?
No, it's not. It's one of the most recognised brands ever.
Nice to see packaging in india is in portrait with smaller fonts but in uk its in landscape with bigger fonts and different styles.
There was a bar of milk chocolate wafer called milk treat back in India. I swear it was obsessively good. Been discontinued since. 🥲
First time seeing this Kind of chocolate, Milka seems like the counterpart here
I could never even imagine how many varieties cadbury actually has in this world, DAMN
Well this video made me try the UK chocolates you are talking about. I hate to say it but chocolates of UK tastes better!! and I'm not kidding 🤤 thanks to "Chocolate Traders" in Mumbai for making it possible
a few year back we did have the caramelo which had like caramel inside the dairy milk bar and the popping candy one as well
