Yes! Needed this info. I'll be doing this soon. ❤
Very good info ty for sharing ❤❤
Great tips!
Pro tip, if you want it to last longer (it takes a little longer to install the first time you do this, but it’s worth it), instead of hammering the tar out of the short sides, set the new plank in the side groove of your previous plank tilt them both up and slide the new plank into place it seats all the grooves perfectly.
Ps,
If either the plank you are working on or the previous one that you tilted isn’t quite seated properly, just hinge it up and down a bit, they usually seat and lay down nicely. If that doesn’t work you may have something in between your seams, take it out and inspect it for defects or debris.
Let me tell you. There is no better sound and sight then hearing a piece click into another and not seeing any gaps!!😂 THE JOY!!!
Nice

Is it hard to cutcthe laminate? What tool do you use? From a very beginner DIYer
A good razor will be all you need. A table saw might be nice for the long horizontal cuts
❤❤❤❤❤
Wont last because you smashed the short sides together...been there done that. Better to ease them in by hand or a gentle tap of soft hammer and flat piece of board to distribute the pressure
This particular flooring is designed for this type of installation. The inventor actually came to my shop to show me the correct way to install it. The floor is holding up well.
@@craftedworkshop i hope for you that it does... Our joints got damaged as we banged them in hence having to start over.
Cheers
Do you need a worker with you? I am capable and work in this field in Morocco
What can you do if subfloor isn’t even in some spots?
They make a premixed and unmixed floor patch that you just put on in the unlevel places
Is this the Pergo vinyl? Champagne oak?
This is Lifeproof Fresh Oak
That stuff looks so awful. Shocked it's become more popular than hardwood. It looks very fake
This stuff sucks. Real craftsmen hate anything vinyl . Except records.
