Farming is the way to go. In it we produce the oraganic food that represents us and process it, export and generate revenue. Agribusiness with administrative experts is all we need to grow our economy. Lastly we should move way from a raw materials based economy...... To processing..
Wow, we indeed have great minds in Africa. What a Pan Africanist in spirit and mind. I think we would be all better off it this was the quality of men and women we had in all our governments. The only thing I did not agree with is not bothering about who is in power and how long. That sets a tone. If a person has a limited time, hopefully for posterity sake they will do as much as they can in that set time to be remembered in good terms. Then again, Zimbabwe and Uganda all got stuck in the same boat with leaders that want/ed to rule till kingdom comes.
He who earns his livelihood by agriculture escapes many temptations and enjoys unnumbered privileges and blessings denied to those whose work lies in the great cities. And in these days of mammoth trusts and business competition, there are few who enjoy so real an independence and so great certainty of fair return for their labor as does the tiller of the soil.
