Admirable journey. Well done. The focus and resilience of skilled workers who migrate to the UK from abroad, is staggering. As a third generation UK born woman of Caribbean parentage , these types of testimonials inspire. Best of success
It’s truly inspiring to see Zimbabweans taking up space! Representation matters deeply, and seeing one of our own in such high places, is a reminder of what’s possible. My biggest takeaway from this conversation? "Sometimes we give up too soon." Thank you, Dr. Mutambike, for the wisdom and inspiration!
Interesting to see how a tough critique was handled so professionally. My wish is to see our politicians speak this way, no guile just measured thinking
Loved listening Itai the start of your journey as a driver was like wow added to knowing the inspiring story you shared at the Black History Month we had in Northamptonshire in October 2022. Keep breaking the glass ceilings- upwards and forward inspiring others 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
So proud of the work that you and many Zimbabweans in the diaspora are doing. We have so many skilled and knowledgeable workers in various spheres, sad though that those skills cannot be transferred to our country for various reasons !
It was quite an interesting dialogue, thoughtful, inspiring, eye-opening,uplifting...it simply shows that we as Zimbabweans we have all it takes to break the new grounds all over the world...resilience is our strength. Keep the flag Dr,we're proud of u here in Northampton 😊
First time getting into this channel. To the interviewer, if you get an opportunity to give feedback to this smart Doctor kindly inform him that we have enjoyed this conversations and learnt alot but please inform him to reduce filler words while speaking. I know its a habit which with time becomes impossible to notice.
Your show is good and thank you for this opportunity but why have also stopped interview influential people especially in Zim politics and sports like Byron Black, Peter Ndlovu, Chamisa etc we want to hear from them and share the things that they can't share without this platform
Hi Michael, we truly appreciate your feedback and understand your desire to hear from influential figures like Byron Black, Peter Ndlovu, and Nelson Chamisa. Please know that we are always working to bring you fresh content that reflects the interests of our community. I think that there is so much wastage in the NHS.........too many unnecessary Managers. Check out any organisational chart of a single NHS FOUNDATION TRUST. You ask yourself WHY?
You are not listening to what he is saying. Afterall he is speaking someone else's language. English is not for everyone on earth. Appreciate that he is fluent in it and stop being negatively critical.
I find it interesting that some would say I am not listening to what he is saying because I say he should work on eliminating fillers from his speech as if both cannot be true. I can completely comprehend and understand what he says and still point out and think he could speak better. This is not being negatively critical
The NHS is a Social Security funded health service which derives its ££ from National Insurance contributions. It is Free at the point of access. So for unemployed individuals who are unable to make NI contributions, they can still access healthcare without having to worry about big bills which they cannot pay.
Contrary to popular belief , they don’t let you die in the US if you don’t have health insurance. They treat you and send you a bill later or help you sign up for programs that allow you to not pay. It’s not a perfect system , but there is no perfect system.
Lots of people who excelled in Sciences struggle with English. Having been in the diaspora from early 2000 and for someonewhowas at a Group A school, I think the Dr struggles in communication. He needs to work on this.

He says “uhmmmmm” a whole lot…
I noticed that as well. Quite a lot of fillers there
Remember english is not our mother tongue. He is a medical doctor nit a linguist,..just ignore the minors and focus on his achievement🎉

I hope he picks this positive criticism, it's very irritating
Is NHS free?, I thought NI is for health insurance.

Lovely conversation, but a bit of a struggle to listen to. Doc should desist from using filler words, makes the conversation less interesting.
Filler words like what? I'm just curious
