Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has pleaded for time and patience to bring the economy back from the "dead". In his state of the nation address in parliament last week, Mnangagwa acknowledged the economic crisis faced by Zimbabwe, as well as the need for reforms.
The country's economy has been under immense pressure with people grappling with rising prices, and shortages of fuel and electricity.
