I believe the DBXs were the 707. The number signifies the horsepower, which is about 150 more than the standard one, and it’s quite a bit more expensive.
I think many of the watches dates are off because they’re automatics and to change the date correctly you need to set it a day before and turn the hours until the date switches
PR : Wear this watch now Drivers: But the time is wrong PR: It's just Brand promotion wear it, no one really cares about the time ** Kym enter the room ** PR: **Ah crap here we go again** more work for us
So did Charles drive his 488 Pista Spyder from Monaco to Monza, or was it transported just so he could drive it to the track? I have to wonder if his schedule allows time to make the drive and back. It would be great if he actually drives it that much.
Yuki has driven the most fun car on the grid imo. The NSX is a "practical" dream car. Not as dainty and out of reach as the Ferraris or the McLarens. You can actually give it the beans without worrying as much about road dirt and stone damages.
Well the DBX’s that the Aston Martin drivers were actually 707 editions. Meaning that they have 707 horsepower. 100hp more than Sainz’s Roma and only 3 and 4 less than Leclerc’s Ferrari and the McLaren. Quite special cars indeed
Hey Kym! Is there a possibility of making a VIP/Paddock access passes and what things you can do with them so that I am ready for Miami next year? Thanks!
Thanks for your great videos and photos. Who actually owns these cars? The teams? Do the manufacturers just loan them out? Do the teams travel with the cars or are they local to the country where the GP is being held?
Hey Kym, Seems that the ‘join’ button is not available for Belgian viewers… same for the video on how to win the Kimi-signed photo… this can not be viewed in Belgium…
You should retitle this series since you have expanded from cars to watches, shoes, girlfriend, and other fun facts. It much more than what they drove. Keep up the good work!!!!
I think the representatives should set the watches. Like damn bruh, if I got paid what they get paid to give an F1 driver a watch, you bet your ass I'm gonna set it. I mean, it's setting a watch. Let's not pretend it's a huge effort, it's tedious and may take a few minutes. Maybe 20 minutes, half an hour. Go above and beyond the call of duty, set 2 watches 💀
Lots of comments: first: Can we ever get a home tour? Especially the cool glass wall that you have going to your garage? And a personal car tour? I believe the 911 turbo? 2) the people who hand out these watches to the drivers should be setting them. It would totally tick me off if I was a driver that they hand me a six figure watch to represent a company, with the wrong time. And lastly …..you don’t think that Lewis crybaby is not too much over the top? Wearing a hefty garbage sack with paint splatter confetti and combat looking boots? Bro? Really?! See you in Singapore! Remember me! I’m the one that made the garbage bag comment 😊
Haha I think the watch designers will be inspired to come up with a watch design that messes with your photography sniping. Welp next stop Singapore GP... I doubt there would be what the driver drove to the circuit behind the scenes.
@@KymIllman Okay on the 707 what you can physically see on the front the car has a bigger grill than the normal car and there is an aero upgrade including a large diffuser at the back and 4 exhaust pipes unlike the normal DBX dual exhaust setup
@@KymIllman Ye, must have been bigger wow factor, tbh i wouldnt mind either of those 3. But in terms of value, the fact that 488 is Charles's personal car, i belive it must bump up the price.
it was my first live race, it was terrible, really terrible, if you had the basic ticket (not the grandstand one) it was almost impossible to see the race, to enter you have to remove the cap from the bottles and you can't take powerbanks with you because you have to buy it from them, the prices were too high and there was a token system ( 1 token = 1.5 euros). If you weren't on the grandstands you didn't have the big screen so where i was nobody knew what was going on, except for the marshalls and for the screen that shows the flags and the VSC/SC for the cars on track. The queue from my entrance was massive and they let 50 people at time. Some people to have a better point of view of the race climbed the trees. Most of the stewards were incompetent and didn't know anything about how to reach a certain point of the track.
The watches are probably wrong because they're mechanical and not quartz (automatic). If you don't wear them, then the charge winder spool thing goes dead quickly. They should have watch winders but they aren't practical for this lifestyle.
I don't buy that. Because the watches are moving all the time during the race weekend. I bet you this goes way back to the brand people. Because I doubt that after the brands send them to the PR people, that the watch stay still for more than 10hours and most of these had springs that last days, even weeks. Look at Hamilton's perpetual calendar. It had 2020 in the year!, which means it had to stay still for 2 whole years! More than likely that the watch maker set the time, probably even in 2019 or earlier and the watch only moved here and there for the whole time while no one took the time to reset it.
@@angus_m Good reason for me not to ever want such a watch... give me one that keeps running and adjusts its time automatically. The last spring-wound watch I owned that must have been 45 years ago. Dinosaurs.
IF those millionaire driver will just wear a SMART watch like a Samsung watch or AppleWatch, they will never have to worry about adjusting time again :P
Frankly I would not even WANT to wear a watch that does not set the time and date automatically... especially when it is that expensive. It is time that these watch manufacturers get a bit more uptodate and offer electronic watches instead of those spring-wound things.

You have a cameo on McLaren's Unboxed this week Kym!
George did look amazing on Sunday, I wonder if he will have more designer collaborations. It suits him...should try it more often..
At some point they’ll all be coming to the track in designer gear.
OMG that would drive me nuts. If I was the rep giving the watch to the driver I'd have the watch set properly to the second.
Love the vids keep it up . If you see Lewis tell him Bandi says Hi or George.

No way Ferrari would let him make those drives during a race season for insurance clauses.
