I think F1 drivers are hiring those cars for some sort of advertisement, it is impossible for a single driver to own more than 10 cars and the cost of transporting one model to the race venue is quite insane.
they don't belong to them obviously, all rentals or leases from the manufactures as it is with Ferrari (that usually gets Romas and ocasionally Portofinos as well for the drivers and in other cases, Alfa Romeo models as it was in Abu Dhabi - Being Alfa Romeo under the same group as Ferrari), Aston Martin (with a DBX for Lance and another for his dad in this race), Mercedes (that always gives Mercedes models for their drivers), Haas (Ferrari partner, so they usually get Alfa Romeo cars). Sometimes drivers DO bring their own cars as in the case of Bottas at Monza last year with his AMG GT Black Series or Leclerc with his 488 Pista Spider.
@@Antonio88870 yes you’re correct but Leclerc and Bottas including numerous F1 drivers are already residents in Monaco so they’re free to bring out their own cars since the racing track is minutes away from their lavish homes
