I am a PCOS sufferer and previously plucked, threaded, waxed and lasered my hair. I started my electrolysis journey in August last year and have seen a big difference within 7 months. For the first two months I went every week for 2 hours at a time and now I'm going every 3 weeks. The hair has gotten finer and my confidence is growing

I seen a difference after two sessions on my chest! It’s crazy! I’ve been dealing with this my whole life and two sessions of electrolysis and the hairs went from being coarse to dramatically thinned out. I’m shook and cannot wait for my 3rd session on Wednesday!

Getting full Brazilian electrolysis. No hormone imbalance. Because I have red hair laser doesn't work for me. I've had 3 one hour appointments so far, which I schedule biweekly. Don't notice any hair regrowth where it was removed. Instant results but very slow progress since it's such a large area. Extremely painful too. But since watching this channel I've started to use the emla numbing cream which is a life saver. Thanks for the many helpful tips!

I have PCOS and quite a bit on my chin, sides of upper lip, side burns and a few down my neck. I’m currently on the implant but having that removed in a few weeks. I’ve have 4 sessions about 3-3 1/2 weeks apart due to work starting at 45 minutes and am now done to about 30 minutes and I’ve noticed a difference in the amount, coarseness and time it takes to grow back. I have hair elsewhere but wanted to start on the face area.

I had it a few years back, took about a year of regular sessions to make a difference on my chin hair,, pretty coarse in a few patches. Had better luck with laser (not ipl) but the laser actually stimulated growth on my cheeks as the therapist suggested I do a full face treatment. I think it's best to stick to just the areas that really need it. It's still the best option for me but I have to get it done every 4 months. On my bikini line the reduction of hair was much more long lasting. I just shave and trim in between sessions and I don't care as much if ppl notice now I am more confident. My husband is really good and supportive about it. My mum had heaps of electrolysis and it left little pits in her skin. But seriously if it's all u can do it's better than waxing or tweeting which just makes more grow.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's interesting to hear your side of the story. I've been having electrolysis for 3+ years and have no pitting. Pitting can occur if the needle size was wrong, or if the needle was inserted incorrectly. When electrolysis is done right, it's really good. If there is a lot of hair in the area, some clients prefer to do laser to get rid of the bulk, then do electrolysis to treat the left over hairs. It varies from person to person that's why I love hearing people's experiences

I had electrolysis done not for hair removal but for thread veins on my face. First ever treatment 2 days ago and I've got little scabs and noticeable redness on the areas. But I'm hoping they fade soon. I have been using aloe on the area and keeping the scabs moist. I'm very fair and I've got a lot of thread veins all over so testing the waters before I go full body. This vid was super informative!

Love you content xx as a fellow beauty therapist of 7+ years I realise that I need my notes too sometimes and your videos from years back really help to jog my memory. I've recently started a tik tok all to do with skincare specifically and will definitely mention you as you've reminded me so much and I've learnt a couple of new things ❤👍🌺

I have been doing laser hair removal for about 2 years now with 2 different machines, I used to have PCOS, now my hormones are within normal ranges, I was looking forward to try electrolysis. After seeing this video I know I would be the type who will not respond what so ever 😂 gonna give it a try though. So afraid of the pain, I have low pain threshold.

Also just to add, I’m a black woman so I’ve created these ugly dark spots on my chest area from years of shaving, waxing, and tweezing. I’ve also use to apply foundation to the area to try covering it up. It made the area even more inflamed looking

I’ve had two sessions (had to stop due to covid unfortunately) it’s mainly my side burn area that was the problem. I waxed it mainly twice and had quite a few terminal hairs come in, but within two sessions the hair has come back blonder, i can grab it but it’s just VERY peach fuzzy. I am on medication though so not sure if this contributed to it

Hy, I had my first session and it lasted 2 hours with blend tehniquo, after that one session I think 70% of hairs still did not come back, and its been a month?
How much time needs to pass before you can say that the hairs is permanently gone?

I look forward to seeing how my journey goes, the procedure is highly expensive in America but I have been watching your videos and have a feeling that I’ll be better off then with laser.
