Electrolysis is permanent hair removal for someone with PCOS too, but because the condition causes hormonal imbalances and new hair growth, occasional maintenance is needed. Once a hair follicle is destroyed, it won't regrow, but new hairs may appear over time due to ongoing hormonal changes. I have top up sessions a few times a year to treat 5-10 new hairs on the chin. I hope that makes sense x

@@GdksksHdisjs Yes it’s permanent so it removes hair permanently for anyone and any part of the body. Everyone is different so there is no way of knowing how long it will take. Yes of course over the years I’ve treated many clients who have achieved their results.

@@melisatesbel ok I get the point. But what kind of medication does make sense? Because if you take the pill and you stop taking it because of pregnancy all the hair comes back, so you will need some new treatments right? So you will always have the problems with hair growth. That's why I don't know if it's worth continuing the electrolysis treatments. It frustrates me.

@@Sushimaus22 Discontinuing the pill and pregnancy can cause hormonal changes that may stimulate new hair growth too. While electrolysis permanently destroys treated hair follicles, you may experience new hair growth in previously untreated follicles due to these hormonal fluctuations. The same hair doesn’t come back, it’s new hair that we are dealing with when it comes to hormones. If you don’t think it’s worth continuing, it’s up to you…

@@GdksksHdisjs Hi electrolysis works on anyone and any part of the body. It’s time consuming but gives permanent results. Sometimes it’s worth doing a course of laser first and then finishing off with electrolysis.

@@GonzoPixel Hi, this is normal and the area can take up to 2 weeks to heal but I have some tips for you for next time: -avoid water for the first day and see if that helps with preventing white spots -use cold compress for 5-10mins for swelling -take antihistamine in the morning of appointment and 1 a day until swelling has gone down

@@joannetucker1538 Hi! It’s best to ask different colleges and see what they say. If you can find a course only for electrolysis, that would be ideal for you. That way you won’t have to learn all the other beauty services 😊

It’s hard to say exactly when you will have your results but on average possibly 2 years depending on how much hair you have and how often you get it done. But it’s so worth it in the end you will be free of unwanted hair! Your confidence, happiness and wellbeing will come back so don’t lose hope 🩷
