Good video. My wife and I just bought our first Jeep JLU with a manual. That stall exercise confirmed my suspicion of how I should drive the car on the trails. I appreciate the tip about etiquette. Now that I think of it, it's how I drive my car in traffic jams. I just put in a gear and let it idle. Barely touch the brakes.
Hi Kristen, great video. I'm very impressed on all the information that you have and that you are giving everybody. I wish I can meet you sometime, I'm in North Carolina near Wilmington, where are you located?
Hi Kristen! I have a question… I’m wanting to upgrade my tire size from 37” to 38” Nitto M/T which is a true 37 1/2 “ tire. Would I need to upgrade my gears? I have a 2018 Rubicon JLU. I’m still on the stock gear ratio which to my understanding I need 4.88 would that still work for the new tire I’m looking at?
Saddle this is just a basic driving skill that would have usually been taught when the interest arises in a young person's learning to drive for me it was about 13. So sad this is like an extraordinary skill now.
Thank you for being on here with me LIVE for the Premiere! :)
Awesome information for manual driving!
Thanks so much! 😊
Great info! One of the best things I ever did was have an Atlas 4-speed transfer case installed in my 2000 Jeep TJ. It made a world of difference!
Great info. Not just for manuals! Gear education is for everyone!

Slinky game, I like that! I've only had one person tell me they had a manual transmission and I am so glad they did.
I’m glad you like the slinky game! 😀 it makes a difference for everyone for sure if you know who is in a manual.
Great information!
Thank you so very much! 😀

Yes the 4.88 would be the right choice for the 37 or 38 😊 Have fun building!!! ❤
